So I have really mixed feeling about this place. I have had my nails and pedicures done several times here over five-ish years. The work is good, which is why I go back every once in a while. Just stay away from the guy that works there, he is the most toxic person ever. He complains about everything and won't take a hint that you don't want to hear him complain the whole time your stuck in the chair. He hates everything and everyone including the customers. How he thinks I want to hear him complain I can't imagine, especially about his customers when, news flash, I'm a customer. So today, after maybe a year away, I went back and I don't see him but sure enough as soon as I pick a color he comes out and asks me to follow him. He soaks my fingers in a bowl of acetone instead of wrapping each finger. He doesn't wait long enough and starts scraping the old polish off and in the process scratches my nails really badly. He was too impatient to let the acetone work. Then he sends me to my manicurist with half the old gel still on my fingers so she had to wrap them and let the acetone do its job like he should have in the first place. I'm giving 0 stars for him but 5 stars for Judy. So a generous 3 stars. If you go ask for Judy, she's really good, won't make you listen to toxic complaining and will remove your old polish like a professional. Read Less

Despite doing a great job on my pedi, I will not be returning to Millennium Nails. I am disgusted and extremely annoyed that throughout my experience I had to sit and listen to the gentleman working on the lady next to me discuss how "sad" it is that the world is changing in reference to transgender people. I heard all about how "confusing it is for children". He then proceeded to discuss church and went on to talk about how African American people should be addressed and referred to. I love this nail salon.  I tried many salons in the Cedar Park/Leander area before finding this gem.  The quality is excellent, the pricing very reasonable, and the salon very clean.  And although it might not be important to some, the fact that all of the technicians speak and understand English as if speaking their native language is important to me.  I find it crucial to be able to communicate effectively with my nail tech.  I highly recommend Millennium Nails. I have been going to Millenium Nails for a couple years now. They always have exceptional customer service, all of the staff are outstanding. Facility is clean and smells good...and my nails are always super awesome. Ken (last chair) does the best Solar Nails I have ever had. (I've been getting fake nails for ten years, all across the country.)And Judy (first chair) is an absolute artist when it comes to paint. I am completely addicted to their holographics! Nowhere else compares. *Note* They are closed Sunday and Monday and please make sure you have time to spare. They take a while to do them because they do such an amazing job. Terrible service. First they don't sanitize their tools in between customers. Eeeww. Worse - my gel manicure starting chipping in 2 hours - and I hadn't done anything to prompt that ( washing dishes etc). Service itself was the most minimal manicure I've ever had. This place has never disappointed me. Ive never waited more than 10 minutes for a chair, and im generally a walk-in.  They have so many shellac colors with matching toenail polish that you will never want for variety.  They don't skimp on the massage, either! Shellac fingernails lasts 2-3 weeks with hard use and dishwashing. Probably longer if I'd remember to take better care of them. Will chat to you if you want but are also really great at reading you when you just want to sit in the pedicure chair and relax. Highly recommended by me! Read Less

I had called and made an appointment with Ken because I had heard good things about him, but when I got there he had one of the girls do my toes even though he wasn't busy at all. the younger girl who sat at the front was very rude and had ear phones in and was on her phone the whole time. but the lady who did my toes was very sweet and did a good job, not very personable though. not a good atmosphere Read Less

I tried this salon just yesterday and I will for sure go back! Kim did my manicure with gel Polish and it was an amazing experience. She was very gentle and even repaired a couple of broken nails at no additional charge. The lotion she used to massage my arms and hands with had a very pleasant smell that I could smell all day. I have been going to Millennium Nails for several years and have NEVER had a complaint. Judy and Ken have always been great to work with and will fit me in if I have a broken nail, even if they are busy. Their staff is very pleasant and for many years I have said that my toe nails were beyond repair ( one had surgery and was removed) but Judy fixed all of my toe nails and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend this shop as they are professionals and always clean. As far as the previous review about prices changing, I experience that when they give you a break on something. Sometimes when you just need minimal work or a quick fix, they do not charge you for every little thing like other salons will do. I traveled for two years and had to go to other places and I realized how good Millennium was when I didn't have them.Read Less

Extremely unprofessional behavior. I was a regular client here for 8 months when one day the tech who always did my nails was in a hurry and did a sloppy job. My nails were filed crookedly and some were very thick while others were too thin. When I returned later that afternoon to request she fix the ones that were messily done, I was told that if I did not like the way she does nails that I need to leave and not return. Even after this I was willing to give her one more try thinking maybe this was simply a one time thing. When I called to make the appointment the nail technician rudely told me that I was not welcome back, followed by being hung up on. I will gladly take my fifty dollars to another salon that treats their clients with respect. Do not waste your time with this sorry excuse for a nail salon.Read Less

I've been to several nail salons in the central, northern parts of austin, and pfugerville area.This is by far the best nail salon I've been to in Austin and surrounding areas.They listen to your requestThey only speak english in front of youThey are kind and respect your wishesThey are not rude nor do they act hassled by a requestVery coherent and easy to speak withI went and saw Kim and she gave me the best foot & hand massage I've had.  She actually tried to give me a relaxing experience.  Other places just grind your extremities to death.  Not only that,but they didn't charge me to take off my nails for a new setthey're prices are reasonable.35.00 for a full set white and pink solar nailsShe did a beautiful jobfor 5.00 more you can ask for them to cut your cuticles and they don't just cut themthey soak your nails in warm soapy water in a bowl, (very relaxing) they cut the cuticles while they are wet - now that's what I'm talking about! And they put cuticle oil on your nails to keep them moisturized.I tell you, I have never looked so good in nails!They have been in business for 10 years!They are located off 1431 right by "1431 Cafe".Hope you enjoy.
