-1! I came here 4 times hoping I would have a better experience but it got worse every time. This last visit was TERRIBLE! Overall time here was 2&1/2 hours. We were soaking for 1 hour... obviously the water got cold! The massage features didn’t work and when I got up from my seat I smelled a strong musty scent. It was from the back of my chair. The smell ended up sticking to my shirt. So now I smell like someone else’s sweat! I didn’t want the pedicure after that! I HAD to get my nails done for an event I was attending so I sat in a different chair at the tables while she did my nails. The place is dusty and dirty, they speak in a language I obviously don’t understand, which is very rude. Fast forward to the end... my nails polish has bubbles, rough edges on my nails and my cuticles look terrible. I have glue all over my fingers that wouldn’t come off with just washing. I wish I could upload a photo to show how bad these nails look. I didn’t want to stay any longer because the experience has just gone downhill. Now I have to pay someone else to correct the mistakes. 30.00 was what I paid and I didn’t even get gel polish. My recommendation to this establishment is to clean your salon thoroughly, especially the seats, get new polishes that are not thick and sticky, new towels, brushes, and tools that are sterile! Have your chairs maintenanced, Hire more staff and don’t take on more clients just to have them wait for over an hour after they “pick a color” I will NEVER return! Read Less

Never again! Lady Does not listen when I ask her not to file my natural nails with the 180 grit file. Just what I didn’t want is for my nails to get anymore damaged. Also my daughter was getting a pedicure and her lady was so sick. I should have read the reviews duh! Read Less

My index finger was bleeding a lot and the nail tech kept going as if nothing happened and proceeded to use the same nail stuff on the next person.  Jusy disgusting.  My mother in law also went with me her nail tech was extremely rude. one of the worst, my wife was there two days ago to do her nails, very poor services and bad quality to the extent that colour is gone within 2 hours ! workers are unfraindly at all and dealing with coustumer with no patience want to hurry up and do things quickly ! . it wasted our time and money we definatley will not back again and it is highly recommended not to visit this place. Literally the worst service I have ever received I got my nails done a week ago and had a nail come off when I scratched my head and another chip when I was washing my hands when I went in to have them fixed I was told there was a 30 minute or I could walk to the front of mall after getting off a 9 hour shift that's not going to happen and the whole time there is another employee sitting there filing her nails. I went to get acrylic nails with gel polish. At first the lady had no idea what I was talking about. she was way to rough & I started bleeding. there was also a hair in my nail polish & it's stuck in it now. when I showered my nails were burning because they hurt so bad. This place was ok for changing nail color...just ok (full pedicures were always rushed) only used them out of convenience cause I shop at the mall. Anyway I thought I would give them a try for my eyebrows ( I mean they suck at the nails they must be good at doing eyebrows right?...wrong) The owner waxed half my eyebrow and then tried to play it off by telling me I didn't have eyebrows there right after she waxed it off! Wtf! I told her that was bs and that I did indeed have eyebrows. She argued w me. So, not only did she wax off half my eyebrow (waxed it while she was talking to someone) she was practically calling me a liar!! Never again!!! My mom recently funded a date for my little sister and I, and of course, we pick mani/pedis.We picked Hollywood Nails because we wanted to get in that afternoon. They fit us in within the hour on a Wednesday night, so that was nice. We started with pedicures. Pretty sure my guy was brand new, because he kept picking up the wrong treatment (lotion before scrub, lol) and asking the woman who was doing my sister's feet what he should be doing next. But he was a nice guy and he did a good job. If I was just reviewing the pedicure, I would probably give 4 stars. To be honest, my biggest greivance was that that they didn't turn on our massage chairs, and they didn't offer wine (again, lol, these are not serious problems).  In the end, my feet looked nice. And felt nice. A week later, they are still nice. I would give four stars if I was just reviewing the pedicure.The manicures, however, total different story.My sister went first, and her nail tech was super grumpy. She didn't know what a stiletto nail was, and I find that absolutely absurd. I had to walk over and google pictures to show her. My nail technician was much nicer, but she didn't do a very good job on my nails. She barely trimmed the cuticles, yet one was left bleeding.  To be honest, I'm not the sort of girl who cares much about that sort of thing. Give me some pain, I'll suffer for beauty, just make sure the nails look nice.  Mine didn't look nice.  Several were crooked, and bulky.  One of them broke three days later, which might be sort of common with solar nails. It's the first time it's happened to me, and I've had solar nails quite a few times.The experience wasn't abysmal, but I would never ever go back to Hollywood Nails. As I sit here because this is the only place open after 7, I will never return. Massage chair is broke, water for the foot soak is cold and was cold from the start, even though I asked her twice to please make it hotter. Next the foot massage or more 20 seconds of nothing was pointless. I've been going to Hollywood Nails for years now, and I absolutely love them. Kim and her staff do an excellent job. After signing in, Kim or someone else will ask you to pick out a color and take a seat, or if they're not busy right to your chair.Pedicures - I've only gotten regular pedicures here, but the job they do is excellent. The water is HOT, and if it's too hot for you, just let them know and they'll gladly change it for you. The massage chairs are wonderful. They do an excellent job of trimming and pampering your feet and toes and take the time to do it right. If you ask, they'll even do a design (usually a flower) on your toes, and it always comes out fantastic. I get compliments on the design all the time.Sets - I bite my nails so much, so manicures are out of the question for me. I haven't had one since I was probably in middle school, so acrylic and solar nails have been BFFs to me. They take the time to make sure the sets are right and will start over if they've messed up. They also do your nails in either square, oval, or rounded square. I've never had them nick me or hurt me in anyway like I've experienced at other places, and I'm so grateful.Waxing - I get my eyebrows and lip waxed here. Kim usually does my waxing for me, and honestly, she's (or her staff) are the ONLY ones that I trust with my eyebrows. I refuse to get them done anywhere else. She does such a through job, getting all the stray hairs left after the waxing.Manicures - Like I said before, I haven't had a manicure in years, but my sister gets them. They do a great job on her and she's always satisfied.Hollywood Nails does get busy sometimes, so you may have to wait for a bit. It makes me so annoyed that people see that every nail tech is busy with someone and huff and puff and walk out. It's worth the wait people!Hollywood Nails gets the extra star because of their friendliness and willingness to please their customers. If you smear or mess up your nails while you're there or shortly after, they're willing to fix them for you. They also earn that extra star mainly because of an amazing job they do with my sister (who has a disability). They are always patient, friendly, and willingly to help her get on and off the pedicure chairs to helping her move from place to place. You don't see that everywhere yall. Read Less
