I had a gel pedicure and manicure done by Zoe. She did a terrible job. The polish came off in a week and I went back to redo it. When she was redoing it I told her my fingers were super hot. I’m not sure if she put the temp high, I kept telling her my fingers are light sensitive but she didn’t really care. The manager is super nice. But I think Zoe needs more training. Read Less

I went in for the first time about 30 minutes ago. I needed my nails done for my engagement photos/wedding invite save the dates. Laurie I believe was her name. She had me rushing to pick a color, rushed through the entire procedure (I got a full set with SNS and gel polish...and my mom came with me and got a plain manicure and I was done at the same time she was...which was probably 20 minutes start to finish...) and before I could even get out of the chair to wash my hands, she’s getting another client and trying to put them in the chair I was in...didn’t even say thank you for coming or anything. I had gel put on; it’s so thick and most of my nails look very sloppy. She didn’t even offer lotion or anything and left the skin around my nails all dried out and super chapped looking. I never once saw her grab any sterilized equipment out of a sterilized bag or anything. I’ll be having to go pay more money elsewhere unfortunately to go get them fixed. I’m so disappointed. I've been about 4 times now and each time I have been really happy! They are gentle and do a great job! I always set an appointment and can get in the same day. Usually there are people that do walk-ins as well. The prices here seem very affordable and everything is really clean. I usually do a mani pedi and I am out in a little over an hour. Read Less

Do NOT make an appointment online, when you arrive the manager will tell you that the owner set up that system and she doesn't check it. We went to this salon a few weeks ago and found this out. In addition to this my gel polish manicure was lumpy, and the polish got on my cuticle so its growing out really rough. We used to regularly come to this place and it just feels like the quality has gone down hill. Also the filing was painful, I had short nails and asked her to even them out. Granted I didnt return and ask them to fix the lumpy nail (I only really noticed it after I left), and its possible they would have fixed it but the overall experience we had was poor and we wont be returning. I got refills with technician, Ivey, a few days ago.  She cut my finger around the nail, it bled, she dabbed at it with a towel, did not attempt to treat it at all, and did not even have the courtesy to apologize.  She showed no interest or concern about the injury.  My finger is now red, swollen, very painful, and appears to be infected.I have gone to her for approximately a year and have found her to be somewhat pleasant, at times.  However, she appeared to be in a bad mood and I certainly suffered the consequences for her anger. I will not be back but might pursue more aggressive action if my finger does not improve.  I should at least get a refund for this deplorable service. Read Less

Got the deluxe pedicure and manicure. Friendly service. Very nice and clean place. Didn't get anything extravagant, just pink nail polish on my toes and natural color with my manicure. I move here to cedar park a few months ago and not sure where to go for my pedicure. I found expert nail on yelp. Read their reviews and wants to try this salon out with my 8 years old daughter. I'm glad I did. They are busy so book your appointment. I was told an hour wait, so I left and made an appointment to come back. I got an awesome pedicure done by Mai today. I recently moved to the area and have been in a search for “my new spot” for months. I thought I had found it but when a friend tried to buy me a gift certificate over the phone at the other place for days while she was sick in bed to no avail she found this gem of a place! I did some research before sending a FB message for an appointment and thought for sure I wouldn’t hear back. But to my surprise, within the hour I had a same day appointment AND my gift certificate was waiting at the front desk. Clean!!! Lots of choices with color and products! Clean!!! Good ambiance. I hate nail salons, which is why I visit every six weeks to get a gel fill. I should go every two weeks but my poor nails can't take too much drill abuse. This is my first visit and I wasn't pleasantly surprised. The employees are professional and they seem to do all they can to please their customers. My technician was thorough. Even though the salon was busy, she didn't rush and do a sloppy job like some technicians have done to me at other salons. I'm pleased and will be back--in six weeks. Read Less

I had an express manicure and pedicure, each was supposed to be over 15 minutes long, and the lady did both in 12 minutes exactly. I know because I set a 15 minute timer when she started. Neither my toe nor my finger nails were thoroughly polished and they had no machine to dry the polish, as 6 little girls were playing around on the machine they use to dry the nails. Service in general was bad. If I could give 0 stars I would. $42 for something I could do myself, I went to this salon as it was supposed to be a salon manicure and pedicure, results turned out to be "cheap, homemade" manicure and pedicure. What a great find! I was able to walk right in and get seated for a pedicure. They have 2 walls and a spinner rack of colors to choose from. (And those are just regular polish.) They also do gel polish and have a wall of those as well. April was my technician and she was so friendly and polite. We talked about our kids and family the entire time. I will definitely be back to see her! Everyone here was very friendly and greeted me as they walked by my chair. Wonderful customer service. Psst...they serve water, soda, and wine too. Cheers! Love this place! It's very clean and reasonably priced. The only issue is if you don't know the nail technicians, you never know what is going to happen.... I usually get May or Samantha and they are amazing!!!! Today I got a lady named Mindy and she rushed through the whole mani pedi, just to be out of there by 5:00.  I paid $60+ dollars and would like quality work done for that amount! I'm so glad I found this place after getting fed up with the one I had been going to. I was spoiled by a salon in Orange County when I was out there for the summer, and when I returned home, I realized the place I'd been going to on Parmer was subpar. My shellac nails didn't even really last two weeks! Expert ended up as my first stop when searching for a replacement, and I'm pretty sure I don't need to shop any longer.PROS:-Clean, trendy, and airy salon that plays HGTV (always a plus)-Very friendly staff. I loved Holly because she talked juuust the right amount-Nail techs (at least Holly) are on the perfectionist side. I've never had anyone go after my cuticles like she did-The shellac manicure I got has lasted three weeks, and probably could go longer if I need it to which is a HUGE deal for me as far as valueCONS: -The salon is a little on the pricey side, comparable to what I was paying in Huntington Beach. My shellac manicure with minimal nail art (a single dot on each finger and three on the ring) was $43 before tip. Cedar Park is becoming an affluent area though, so I don't think the price will be of much concern to others-Some of the nail techs are not that versed in nail art, which is okay so long as someone is available to take over for that part. I went in when it wasn't very busy, so this has the small potential to be an issue if it happens on a Saturday afternoon. Read Less

I wish I could I would give them 0 stars for the way my friend was treated. We both got our nails done on TUESDAY( have receipts)! By Thursday my friends nail had changed color after the nail technician added a new base and top coat. I have been to expert nails several times for various services (usually eyebrow/face waxing) and that will be the last time I go or ever recommend anyone to go. Customer service is what leaves a lasting impression. Saying that the nail job was old ( we have receipts) or that the client did something in color or with bleach ( our hair is in braids and we have desk jobs). Arguing, hanging up on,shouting, or yelling at someone who is being respectful and drove all the way from downtown Austin at 6pm so that they can fix their mistake shows you how they value customers at this salon. The reason we were there originally was to fix the gel set I had gotten on 2/21 after it had started chipping within 24 hours and so she could get her nails done before going on vacation. I'm extremely sorry that I will not be able to have Ivy do my nails, but the way the front desk treated my friend and the response to a previous review shows that you cannot trust this salon. This is my first time here, and I had a great experience.Staff is so friendly!! I had the best conversation with my manicurist. The tools didn't make me flinch one bit. Sometimes at nail salons I haven't been to, I get nervous for that one tool, you know, the sanding driller one. Yikes. But here, I was very relaxed. The salon is clean, as well as the tools. They are very professional and know how to do nails.I also really like the selection of colors. WILL NEVER go to this salon again. Went there for prom updo's. Not only did we have to wait for almost 45mins, the stylist didn't do the braiding and curls well enough that by the time we got home the curls were gone. Not to mention I asked the owner about having my daughter have her hair relaxed there and the owner said she would check into which product the previous salon used and would contact me and get her in for an appt.
