I was very very disappointed while at Bally Nails this afternoon. My rings were knocked off of the tray at the pedicure station and they couldn’t find one ring and said it must have gone down the drain. The ring that was lost was one of a two ring set and very sentimental to me. They refused to call a plumber and said they would pay for one ring but they took the money out of the young girls pay and I was not happy about that. The stores overhead should have covered the cost.... The owner did not attempt to leave his station while talking to me and continued to work on the customer he was with. Apparently this woman felt she should interfere and was so incredibly rude to me. The owner was at fault but allowed this woman to put me down and she basically told me to get out. He did nothing but attempt to argue with me. I was trying to do the right thing and I was calm. The owner has poor business etiquette and I will never return. The woman was just butting into a situation that was none of her business. I paid for my nails with the cash they gave me and gave all of the change to the young lady that lost her pay for the day. Horrible horrible visit today. We got there right at noon when they opened and we r gone by 12:25pm. There was three of us and it felt like we were literally rushed out the door! So disappointed in the service today. We brought my daughter in for her birthday to get a pedicure and manicure and she was done within 10 minutes. Our heels were barely touched. Highly disappointed! I had a great experience about a month ago with Annie, she did a fantastic job. Which is why I schedule an appointment for my wedding party, fun relaxing environment. Everyone seemed to enjoy their pedicures, but those including myself didn't have a great outcome on our nails. Being the Bride my nails looked the worst, after I walked out I burst into tears, there was no way I was going to allow anyone to look at my hands. They had bubbles, lines were uneven (French manicure), had crud underneath my nails. I left straight there and went to my old nail Salon where they fixed them at no charge. I will not come back. My daughter and I came in on a Sunday for a pedicure and naturally expected a wait. We were told that it would likely be 15 to 25 minutes. No problem. We waited. About 15 minutes later, a woman walked in who had scheduled an appointment already. We were informed of it and were told it would probably be another 20 minutes, no big deal. We'd wait. We wait another ten minutes and are informed that they just got word that it would be another 20 or 30 minutes. At this point, I'm seeing the writing on the wall and decide its simply time to go. No idea how indefinitely we would have waited. I give three stars only because we were at least told of the situations. If you read my pervious reviews you will see I'm a HARSH nail salon critic.  I've been spoiled by decades of Irvine, California salons that are fantastic.  When I got to Texas, I struggled to find a remotely acceptable place.  After visits to at least 6-7 places, none of which really wowed me, I noticed Bally Nails opening up when I was at Five Guys or Panera...maybe Masala or Torchys.  I dunno, clearly I eat in that shopping center a lot.  What was I saying?  Oh the nail place.  Yeah, so when I walked in they had just opened for business, which was about a year ago I think.  The place was clean, sparkling and new.  Everything about this place was planned and executed for optimal customer experience.  This isn't one of those places that looks like a swap meet.  The upkeep is tight.  The owner is cool and remembers you if you've been in before.  The techs always offer me a drink, and so far they've never lied to me about the wait time.  I hate it when I'm told "Ten minutes" at a nail salon and end up waiting an hour.  Mai usually does my nails and she's a great tech and very sweet.  As far as skill sets go, I've got no complaints and I've had several techs do my nails.As far as pricing goes, I will say that they charge $15 for gel which is $5 more than I've seen at other places.  They also add a $5 up-charge to remove gel.  That kinda irks me.  I know it takes time and they have to use foil and acetone supplies to take off the gel, but they're already charging $5 more for gel than most local places, so with the take-off fee, you're essentially paying $20 for gel, or DOUBLE the cost at some other places. In spite of the gel pricing, this is my place now.  It's CLEAN (they use tub liners!) and relaxing and never smells like chemicals.  If you're looking for a nicer than average place, this is gonna be your jam. My normal nail salon is in Austin, but I'll often stop in here when I don't want to drive into Austin on a day off.  They have always been very friendly.  In fact, my daughter and I were here tonight.  I got a signature pedicure (because it's a longer massage with hot stones) and the gel polish.  I've been beofre where they would set a time when they start, I guess to make sure they offer you consistent service.  I didn't see that tonight.  Someone else mentioned hey didn't see if the tools were form a sanitizer.  They have these pedi buckets (that look like a treasure chest) and they bring those to your chair.  The tools are in a sanitized packet in there.  We were the only ones in there tonight so I saw her take them back to the sterilizer and bring a new set to "restock" her bucket. They charge $15 extra for gel.  Ok, sounds pretty normal.  But then they charge an additional $5 to remove the old gel you have on.  My normal other salon doesn't also charge to take off the previous gel.  Hmmmm.Oh--and ask for a glass of wine!  Why not? This nail salon could have been really great. Unfortunately, the person helping me made my experience pretty terrible. She didn't speak to me the whole time, and never asked what I wanted. I had planned on getting gel mani and a nice, upscale pedi. However, since she never asked, but just began painting my toes, all I got was a polish change- NOT want I wanted and not what I had asked for. It seemed like other people had a better experience, but by the time I realized she was painting, she was halfway done. I had the worse experience here! Was told, the entire time the tech was painting my nails, that the color would change when my hands were warm and dry?! Only after she had finished all the coats of polish, she selected the wrong color. I told her I wanted my original color and they instructed me to come back later. I told them I wouldn't have time and needed the color changed at that time and that's when things got bad. The tech and manager were angry, she hacked up my cuticles (to the point of bleeding), cut under the nails on my skin, and painted so fast I had polish all over my skin. When I told them this wasn't the experience I had hoped for he said "next time we will try to do better!" No sorry for making me bleed, using the wrong color, or anything. i went in just the other day to get my nails done and two of them already broke. i have done anything but go out of town. Kevin is very rude he keeps up charging me. Don't do it!  I tried Bally on a whim as I was in the area and needed a pedicure and to have my SNS nails removed and get a regular maniicure.  This request was stated as I entered the shop.  I was offered a drink, requested water and it was never received during my 2 1/2 hour painful visit.  They forgot I wanted a manicure after the pedi was complete.  I don't think the gentleman giving me the manicure and removing my SNS had EVER done that before.  Although many female technicians were watching him closely, nobody ever offered to help him.  As I finally left, without any polish on my nails, I couldn't stand being there any longer, a woman asked how I liked my visit.  When I told her it took way too long, she blamed ME for not telling them I had SNS to be removed.  That was the first thing I said upon entering.  Slow service, failure to follow through with water or full service!!!  Too many other nail shops around.  Now I know why there wasn't any wait!  Don't do it!!! Nice people. $42 for the basic mani/pedi combo. Extra $15 for shellac. I got #18 shellac color on my mani. Trinh is quiet, sweet, and did a great job on my mani! I had the basic pedi done in ORLY Star Spangled color. I like it. The little foot scrub was kinda half-assed but whatevs, I can scrub my own feet. I didn't get the name of the woman who did my pedi, but it wasn't Trinh.I didn't notice them taking the nail cutters and other materials out of sealed sanitized packaging so I can't say how sanitary the place is, but they did put a liner in the tub you soak your feet in.This place has a nice, elegant feel to it (like Caesar's palace in Vegas), seems pretty clean, and you get a complimentary glass of wine. I received a gift card to Queens Nails in Cedar Park. I went there on New Years Eve and got a French Manicure however, it was a terrible job. I even informed the girl but she didn't say anything- just smiled. I don't think she understood me. The next day I went to Bally Nails and showed them my nails. Bally's agreed that my nails looked terrible and I even needed to have more cuticle removed. Bally's did a terrific job and I would not ever go anywhere else. The place is clean, friendly, and professional! Queens does not even compare to Bally's standards. Do yourself a favor and go to Bally's for a professional/clean manicure. The place is immaculate. Went here last weekend on a whim with a girlfriend and had the best experience. They got us in right away (it was the weekend after thanksgiving so it was slow) and offered us drinks. All technicians were friendly and mine, Bonnie (?), did an amazing job. I got a gel manicure and it's still going strong- I've had the hardest time finding a place that does gel well. She took great attention to detail on my cuticles as well. A bit more expensive then I usually pay, but well with it. Will be returning. Read Less

The Balley pedicure, nails filled, eyebrow and lip wax... the products were great, the people were so nice, they served complimentary wine, and I felt like a queen! This place is absolutely the Best! It is very beautiful inside and very clean. Real hand towels to dry your hands not paper towels. Choices of nail polish is endless. They even have a hook for your purse. They serve complimentary red and white wines, margaritas, and soft drinks. The massage chair when getting a pedi is awesome. Get this, they have small hello Kitty chairs for little girls to get Childs pedi. Multiple big screens on walls. The ceiling is something like Vegas. Most of all and above everything the Owner and his employees are very very friendly and they really care about taking care of you. They are not trying to rush you in and out for an extra buck. Loved it. Great pedi and mani. My friend had asked for a neck and shoulder massage, but they forgot. It was fine. The real star here is the massage chair. Best I've been in. I always enjoy a pedi, but let's face it, the massage is the best part. The shop is beautiful. The manager laughed and called it mini-Vegas. I live on Dallas, but I will go back when I am in town. I've been hesitant to write this review for two weeks, but finally felt it was time. The reason I give them two starts instead of one is because my first experience was amazing. Yes, it's expensive, but I felt the pedicure experience I received the first go around was worth it. The second visit was completely different. The technician cut my foot while using cheese grater devise. It was a pretty big chunk, and it would not stop bleeding even after changing the band-aid 3 times during my pedicure. She was apologetic, and I knew she didn't do it on purpose, but continuously kept saying the tool was brand new and I was the first one to use it. She tried using super glue and skin glue but the bleeding continued. Eventually she had to go next door to 5 Guys and grab some pepper packets (apparently it's an old wive's tale at stopping bleeding).The worst part was after I arrived home my other foot was tingling. Once I looked down I realized she cut that foot too, not as bad, but still an open wound. To me, it wasn't about the cut. Honestly, mistakes happen and I had such a great experience the first time I was willing to overlook it. The deciding factor for my review was when I got to the cash register and she told me she charged me $48 for my $60 pedicure (20% discount given for the cut). Yes, I was charged $48 for a pedicure where my foot gushed blood and I didn't even get to enjoy the majority of it (I could not get the paraffin wax, jelly soak, lotion, foot massage, etc. - all that are included with the pedicure I paid for). Given how bad my foot was bleeding I would have assumed they would not have charged me. The place is beautiful. The chairs are comfortable, relaxing and the ambiance is fantastic. Had this incident not occurred, or better yet if they handled it better, this would have been my new nail salon. I just have a hard time swallowing $48 for having my feet cut up. This place is nice and very clean it definitely has that going for itself. That being said it is far more expensive than any other nail place I've been to and I was born and raised here in Austin. Now don't get me wrong I'm all for paying top dollar for one heck of an experience but that's not the case here. I walked out paying $75 for a gel mani and a spa pedicure. Then I paid $14 for my 5 year old to have just nail polish put on. I'll be going back to my usual spot going forward. Read Less

I will start by saying the place is beautiful inside. Complementary drinks, the massage chairs are fantastic. Ok with that said the service was bad!! I had called to change my appointment which was easy. So we get there and we wait 45 minutes to be seated, finally get seated the lady starts on me my daughter sets in the chair for an hour waiting. Then we are told that they are short staffed maybe being told that when we first got there would have been better nope waited till we are seated and almost done with my pedi daughter never got hers done she had to leave. I was compensated 20% but even then my bill was 44$. Prices are pretty expensive I expect those prices at a day spa not at a nail salon. So last trip there. Read Less

Read this before going to this shop: The shop is nice as far as the interior,The service is completely different. First thing they try to do is up sell you on the shellac color which is an extra $30 on top of any package,you get with them and it won't last past a week. Also they took too much skin off my cuticles basically tore it made me bleed then offered me a coupon . WOW, I will never come back and I hope you don't waste your money or cuticles coming here. New in Cedar Park located by 5Guys!  You walk in and automatically relax!  Design is beautiful and staff is very kind. They walk up to greet you instead of yelling across the room. They set you and hand you a menu of services.  Pedicures starting at $27 and going up to $70 depending on what you want. There are over 6 scents of mask and scrubs to choose from to help you relax.    They bring them out on a small plate so that they keep everything clean and sanitary instead of double dipping into the product jar. Which is automatic 2 thumbs up!    Tons and tons of nail polishes and colors to choose from too.  3 large TV to watch if you need something to do. However I sugguest closing your eyes and resting.   Your served a complimentary beverage : soda water wine. I think I finally found my new pedicure place! Read Less
