My first time at this place was the businesses opening week & i had received dip powder. I always get dip and i love it so much, and i know the process. However , the male who did my nails completely ruined the dip and it’s consistency forming these clumpy objects on my nails. Obviously i wasn’t going to pay for anything that looked how it did. So another woman had to start the process all over. They came out fine but i wasn’t compensated for the time wasted there. Coming back this evening i decided to put that experience in the past and see how the business had been doing. Upon entering i was asked to pick a color and like many of women out there i became indecisive. I had to wait anyways for someone to be available. Once she had approached me and asked me what i wanted i had verbatim told her to just begin i would pick between the two colors i was deciding between once she got to the part where she was to apply the color. She kept questioning what color after i had already let her know my intent. I had pointed to a color i was interested in and asked if she could get it for me. However she got up and spoke to the manager in front of all the guest and walked away to another guest. I do understand that sometimes as a employee you can get frustrated with a customer however in the place of business that you represent it is not appropriate to treat guest that way in front of other guest. I am ashamed in Hillside village for allowing this place of business in their shopping center. The place is beautiful but the people carry ugly unprofessional demeanors. Read Less

Went nd got my faced waxed and today i got it done by some old short lady she was very kind... But she was not doing as expected- the wax was very very hot when she put it on my face and she didn’t even blow it before putting it on usually they do- she was very rough with it also - Put wayyyy to much oil on my face - when i got in the car i looked in my mirror and realized that my skin was very red and irritated usually never happens to me and i looked closer and my SKIN was GONE... under my EYEBROWS and all around my LIP!! The atmosphere was nice and the guy who did my nails was nice and so was the lady who did my pedicure but my nails look terrible. It was my first time getting the Nexgen dipped nails and there are so many spots without any color and it’s uneven and I hate them. There was one lady who was asking if we wanted drinks and we asked what they had to offer and she looked at our forms we filled out and I guess because we didn’t get the deluxe or the highest services, she initially just offered water or soda. Best nail experience I've had in the Dallas area! First things first I was greeted and taken care of first minute I wanted in the door by the manager (very customer friendly). The Set up is BEAUTIFUL!! They have complimentary frozen margaritas which was a plus as well! Vickie did my nails and she was wonderful! I've finally found the best nail salon in the metroplex after 15 years. I've been to Allure 3 times since they opened in the last month and I will continue to be a regular. Their service is impeccable and every technician is wonderful. It is all about the experience. The music playlist Tom put together is amazing and unlike every other salon with their monotonous classical music. (p.s. I need the playlist) My entire family looks forward to our next visit. I wasn't completely happy the first time I went and when I went today to fix them, they went above and beyond! Sam did my nails exactly how I wanted them free of charge! Tom was very accommodating and checked up on me as well as offered me a drink as soon as I sat down. Their customer service was 100%! Worst nail experience I've ever had. I've had acrylics for 8 years. I went to Allure Nail Bar to check it out and because it was right by my work. 'Ken' was the one who did my nails. Was never asked if I wanted a drink until 25 min into me being there. I asked Ken for a full set. He said ok but proceeded to just do a fill...? My nail shape is completely uneven. I have almond shape on my left hand and oval on my right. He also piled on the acrylic at the base on my left hand but didnt smooth it out so there are huge dips and chunks of acrylic. I got them done not even 3 days ago and one of the nails are already falling off.... This is completely unacceptable and a waste of my time. Read Less

went for a mani pedi - had some young guy/boy...barely scrubbed my feet... hours later my heels are still rough. then my mani..i got skipped right over applying any hand lotion and massaging it in... this has been one of the worst experiences I have had there. if I go back I will request someone else. They stuck me with an apprentice I think. I went in for a fill, and one nail fix. He applied the nail wrong so that my real nail jutted down under it, then when I mentioned it instead of fixing it he just filled away all of my real nail. Then he filled down 85% of the acrylic on my nails so that they are paper thin, and aplief the polish in a way that my nails are all lumpy and gloppy looking. I got a gel manicure on Friday. On Sunday one of them chipped off and started peeling. The next day another chipped and today (less than a week later), more are all peeling. It's not like I have been extremely rough with my hands the past few days or even picking at them. The man who did my nails seemed to be in a rush, didn't speak to me at all, and was extremely rough with my nails and hands. Worst $35 I've spent on a manicure ever. Read Less
