First and foremost I came to this place bc my regular tech was off unfortunately. I asked Hong how much would my nails be to take off and do an acrylic full set. She stated it was $10 to take off, which has NEVER been the case at any nail shop I've ever been to in all the years I've been going. Then I asked her how much to do my nails, she deflected and stated she would give me a price don't worry. So usually most places charge you $5-8 to do long nails, I get it nowadays the techs don't want to work. She did my nails, & charged me $45. I told her that's absurd I've never been charged that, she insisted due to them being long, I paid it but the work isn't worth that amount. I've had longer and better quality nails at other shops. I will never return, this place is a joke. She added her tip into the price b.c I guess she figured I would not tip her. Her loss. Read Less

I am simply taken away by their amazing service! They're able to focus on their customers and give them quality service and products! Having a clean salon and wonderful interior! Went for a pedicure Sunday morning and it already started chipping. I've also had this same experience here with gel nails only lasted a week and usually last more than that. Gave it two stars cause they have a friendly staff. Pedicures are $20, rather pay more for better quality. Read Less

LOVE this place! I have been going here since 2005 and the ladies are amazing! Very low turnover and always a pleasant greeting when walking in. Even on days they are busy, they try their best to not make you wait too long and are apologetic for the wait. The place has been updated and while it may not be the fanciest place since it is in a strip mall, it has the best technicians and service. I don't go anywhere else to get my manis and pedis. My visits to Michael's Nails is the best hour of my day :) Read Less

The owner Peter is very rude and lies to the customer. While having a manicure/pedicure done, the technician, Randy, cut my cuticles and caused them to bleed to the point that I needed to apply antibiotics to them for a few days. He also did a poor polish job. To compensate me for the poor service, Peter promised to redo them at no charge but refused to do so when I showed up for my appointment. He and another technician proceeded to hurl profanity at me and refused to come up with a win-win resolution. As you can see from a couple of the other reviews and from a BBB complaint, Peter has a problem with lying and controlling his language as he hurls profanity at the customers who are dissatisfied with Michael Nails service. I predict that Michael Nails will not remain in business if they continue to treat their customers this way. They will reap what they sow. Read Less

Open 7 days a week, always willing to stay open if need be.  Excellent attention to detail, so every nail looks great.  fantastic decorations on nails if you ask.  Nails stay nice for a long time.  I have never found a better place to get my nails done. Read Less

Used to be one of the best shops in Carrollton. Now nobody goes in there and I see why. The 2 pedicure ladies are rude and make snide remarks about you in vietnamese. (they didn't know I was fluent in the languge). Only 3 people work there and the guy that does the nails is rude and wants to rush you out of the shop. Pedicure work is sub par. Too busy talking about your wierd pinky toe to do quality work! Read Less

This was my place to go. I always came here for a french mani/pedi on my own nails. They were awesome. My mani/pedi is coated so beautifuly that they would last for at least 2 weeks. The place since then has been remodeled and looks great, however they don't appropriately clean everything. I was there several weeks ago and the manicurist spilled water all over me and laughed, the gentleman doing my pedi cut my foot and later ended in an infection. They did apologize that day for the mishaps but didn't bother to at least extend a discount. I was very disappointed being that i was a regular customer. I will never go there again and will definitely check the cleaning list when getting a pedi. Read Less
