I received a Mother’s Day package from my boys. I was very excited and couldn’t wait until my spa day! When I arrived at the Woodhouse Day spa, I told the ladies in the front I was here for my spa day and needed to fill out paperwork, they immediately walked me over to the “quite room”. After a few minutes the nail technician came and sat me in the pedicure chair. The massage chair didn’t work properly but I shrugged that off. The nail polish selection was outdated ( no summer colors), whatever, I was there for my spa day. I sat there for 2 hours with a wood tray over my legs so I couldn’t move at all, not comfortable!! The pedicure was horrible, my polish looked like I did it. :( After my manicure and pedicure the technician realized I was suppose to be in a robe but the computers were down so she rushed me over to change. The massage therapist gave me my paperwork (she discovered I was never given paperwork), I was rushed to fill it out, which I didn’t even fill it out all the way. My massage was good, however, the whole spa day experience was terrible! I will not go there ever again. I gave 2 stars because of my massage but that’s it! Read Less

This is my go-to place to a really great spa experience and pampering! Plush warm robes, sandals, mimosas, and the most amazing neck wrap are provided! Terrible experience. I thought I would treat my husband to a well needed massage.  So I googled spas in our area and this one popped up. The only way they would let me pay over the phone was a gift card. My husband's experience was terrible and he ended up leaving without the massage. He said there were dirty washcloths all over the floor in the room they wanted him to change in and the robe they gave him was wet (he thought it had already been used). They put him in a dark room and asked him to fill out paperwork that he could not see because it was dark. Then someone came in and asked if he had finished the paperwork. He told them no because he could not see to fill them out. He was so disgusted at that time that he decided to leave. When I called to ask for a refund the clerk said she would ask the manager, I waited she came back and said no. So, I told her I would dispute the charge through my credit card company. A few minutes later I get a call from a women I assume is the manager. She was very irate and screaming into the phone about how I should have read all of the disclaimers before buying the gift card. She asked me if her clerk explained it to me and I said no. I can only assume the clerk was supposed because when she found out the clerk did not explain it to me she started making things up. She said her clerk was shaking because I threatened her with the police which definitely never happened and when I told her I never said that she lied and said three of her staff overheard the conversation. I'm not sure what's going on at that place, or why, if someone did threaten them with the police, that they would be so scared about it....I would definitely not recommend to anyone. I'm not as concerned about the worthless $85.00 gift card as I am about their conduct, dirty establishment, and the length they would go to NOT refund an unsatisfied customer. I do NOT recommend this place for a Brazilian wax. There was hair leftover that I know was long enough to be waxed off. NOT worth the price. Brazilia in Austin is much better.Other than that...I have received a pregnancy massage and it was very relaxing.The staff is very friendly.My husband is getting a massage next week. Today I surprised my wife with a couples' massage, my first ever. I had heard great things from a few people about Woodhouse. Well, they certainly never let us down! From the walk in to the walk out, everyone we encountered was so friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere that surrounds you is the epitome of relaxations. If I could give this business zero stars, I would.I drove over an hour to have a couples massage with my boyfriend. I called the front desk to make them aware of traffic we were caught in. We were 5 minutes late for a 12pm massage. They took 25 minutes of out massage so I paid over $100 for two twenty minute massages...ridiculous!! There was no compensation because apparently if you use Groupon you don't receive it. What the heck?! Am I supposed to sit back and say, "okay, yeah, take away 25 minutes of massage for both me and my boyfriend for free because I already have a discounted price"....I CALLED THEM AHEAD OF TIME! I was 5 minutes late...seriously?!? Being a manager myself of an establishment, customer satisfaction is my number one priority. Obviously that is not the case here.Not really worried about the money, but the morale of this business needs to change, and fast, if they want to keep their rep up. Read Less

This is the first time I've been to this spa and for the most part it was pretty good. The only real complaint I have is that there was a baby in the quiet room.. So you go into the quiet room before and after your massage so after my massage I go to sit in the quiet room and there's a baby fussing! That is definitely not what I wanted to hear while I'm still winding down. I couldn't even fully relax I had to leave because of this child fussing in the quiet room. I most likely will not be returning to this location. The one is San Antonio is much bigger and more accommodating for an adult version of relaxing for a day. Read Less

The location is good, but the place is very tiny.  You feel cramped the whole time your there, but  it is very clean and very up to date.  The place looks very good, just very small.  I only had a massage here, so that is all I can talk about when it comes to the services.  The massage was okay/good.  It was nothing memorable, but it wasn't bad.  The price is very good as well.  I would recommend if you live in the area. I purchased a $60 gift card for my mom as a Christmas present. She scheduled an appointment for the Signature Pedicure ($65 for an 80 min SPA pedicure) on her birthday, 3/20, which was perfect...so I thought.  The technician was 15 minutes late to the appointment, the "quiet room" was littered with old tea cups and water bottles, and to top it off the technician was relieved that my mom had such great nails so she could "make up some time from being late." Due to being late my mom was not offered the robe which is stated in the package and had to uncomfortably pulled her jeans up for her supposed relaxing pedicure. The technicians talked back and forth throughout the pedicure of how they were relieved that they only had one more appointment, etc. They also mentioned they wish they could carry OPI nail polish, but the owner states it's "too expensive". They mention the polish they had being "like glue to put on sometimes". The pedicure was approximately 50 minutes, which is. 30 minutes shy of the listed time. Overall...it was clean. And, that's about all you can say that's in any way positive. For $65 plus tip I'd seek another venue.  It wasn't the "spa experience" we were used to that's for sure. From one Beltonian to another, I'm disappointed. Step it up. Read Less

This place is a delight. I stumbled across Woodhouse Day Spa while visiting family in Texas. It's located an easy drive from the Killeen airport vicinity and well worth the trip. The ambiance was lovely and the services were wonderfully relaxing. The entire spa - pedicure stations, dressing rooms and wet treatment rooms - were clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely return here again.
