I made an appointment at a nail salon in Temple Tx. I called to confirm my appointment the day before. When I arrived to my appointment they said that the person who was to do my nails was not able to come in until 4pm. I had to be in Austin by 3pm. I was referred by a person to go to Expert Nails. What a expert I found here. I was greeted by a nail tech who asked me what I needed . I usually do the dip.  She  did a great job!!! So impressed that I went here. Went last night with my friend and our daughter and the women who did my mani/pedi rushed and sucked! She didn't even massage my feet. She put the hot stones in COLD water before doing the hot stone massage on my legs. My nails looked like crap. I had to go have them taken off today. When I got home I notice the polish on my big toe looked wired, I was able to peel it off and it was still WET underneath. I got Gel on my toes, how the world is it still wet? I went yesterday to get my nails done and a lady I'm not too sure of her name started my nails but had to leave due to picking up her child from work so I was fine with that understandable we'll she sent me over to a lady name Roxy, she didn't speak too much, all she said was "it cost extra" and "go wash your hands", oh and "I'll have to ask you to pay before I start painting your nails" which I understood, maybe they have had issues with people running out without paying BUT I was the only person she asked to pay first, all the other ladies got their nails done and paid AFTERWARDS!!!! Not only that a few times she pulled and yanked my hand around just to place my hand back in the SAME position it was just in!! I still was nice saying please and thank you like I was raised to do. Til close to the end of painting my nails she didn't fully paint my thumb like the others and I asked could she do so, you know what she did, she just stared at me for a few seconds huffed and puffed got the stuff out, mind you slamming stuff down and painted it and pushed my hand away! My Previous two visits to Expert were outstanding. I was excited that I finally found a pleasant nail salon in Belton where the techs actually act like they like their customers. Unfortunately, today I had Kim. I would not recommend her due to her poor attitude and unexceptional work...  My toenails are rough on the ends and sore. She seemed angry and scowled at me about several basic requests. Then she chattered to a co-worker in her native language. She didnt rush and they use plastic liners. I've never received amazing customer service and an amazing pedicure it's usually one or the other . I wish I lived closer so I can go here ecery month . Kim did a pretty good job on my nails, however Roxy who did my pedicure had no clue how to remove a hang nail after 4 tries I said forget it!! Its unfortunate but the employees talk to each other in Vietnamese and don't conversate with the customer. It makes you feel awkward and uneasy, and for sure unfriendly. I would not return this cold unwelcoming environment, they seem to be more engaged in each other than the paying customers. Read Less

The new owner is uh-MAZING! The first time she did my nails I was absolutely amazed at the difference in how they looked and felt. I have no idea what magic she used, but it was awesome. First time here and my visit was wonderful! Service was done by Kim who is very sweet and professional,  absolutely love her! She made my nails look amazing! All the staff is very friendly and polite. The whole salon is very clean,  calming and organized.  Very fair pricing on services as well! Expert Nails is the worst nail salon and a waste of money and time!!! The male nail tech burned my girlfriend's foot with hot paraffin wax and then blamed her because she wasn't "use to it". He applied her nail polish so thick not never dried...in fact over two hours later her toe nail polish was smeared and ruined. My girlfriend was offered $5 off a $35 pedicure and a painful night ahead due to the burns on her toes and foot. This place should be shut down!!!!Read Less

I hate that this place has such bad reviews on its name since it is now under new ownership and management! The salon has been updated and is very clean and neat. I followed Edward and Roxy from another location because they do an excellent job and take such good care of me! I recommend you all go and give them another chance!Read Less

Once again another nail salon that gets upset when you pick the "Plain Jane" pedicure, that's really what it is called. I went in and she started to do my pedicure and then passed me the plastic menu and I took a second to respond because she was clipping my nails and I didn't want her to get vengeful. I told her the Plain Jane and her attitude immediately changed. I tried to explain that I have very sensitive shins from playing sports and don't like the massage and stones and all that, but she either ignored me or didn't understand me. Either way her attitude changed. What's sad is my tip would have been probably more than the lady sitting next to me getting the $55 service. You should never assume someones financially ability based on the pedicure they choose. I will NOT be going back. Also my nail polish was striped but I didn't see it until I got inside. I go here for convenience, however they rush through, only want to do square tips. I like mine rounded and the lady always makes an excuse as to why not to. I damn near have to argue with her. I will not go back, i have had them done by all 3 of the staff and the young guy was good, though he didn't round them either. Last week i went and yep started lifting around the cuticles. Shame to spend $35.00 on nails to spend another $25.00 getting them fixed. Not recommended. Read Less
