The best nails I've had done in years. They were very nice and never made me feel rushed. Even though it was going to be after close before she was done. They look natural and the paint is perfect. I don't even normally do color so I'm very impressed. I can't recall her name I think it was Tracy, I will update when I go  back for my pedi...The place is clean and has a neat set up. This place is cute however I had an awful experience and they did not do a good job.  I got a pedicure from Tethiani (sp?) and a manicure from Mimi.  T did not do a good job on my pedicure because my heels still had calluses and my nails weren't filed well.  On my manicure Mimi completely butchered my nails with a coarse file that were short on one side and high on another.  I asked her if she was going to file then again and shape them with a descent file and both girls told me they only had coarse files in the salon.  I ended up filing my own nails with a coarse file and T finished my manicure and managed to salvage the shellac mani.  Since the mani was salvaged I will give them one star, but what was suppose to be a relaxing experience was ruined. This has to be the loudest pedi/mani place I have ever been too!!!!!!! Mimi and Tethiani and the two loudest nail techs EVER!!! These two ladies carried on a full blown conversation my entire pedicure. At one point Mimi answered her phone and started talking!!!! WHAT THE HECK!!!!!! Came here before work to get My shellac taken off and a manicure and wow love this place! Rachel was amazing efficient on time and did exactly what I wanted and more. Gave a great shoulder massage and charged $15 for both take off and manicure  I will be a regular here from now on! t was nice and clean and organized. Other than the fact that this location is too far from me, I loved it. I was extra pleased with the hand massage and the shoulder massage that comes with the $18 manicure.  I was offered a small bottled water which was convenient. I didnt need a big 16 oz water. This salon did not reek of that horrible acrylic smell. It was a nice, relaxing and inviting atmosphere. I especially enjoyed my talk with the only male nail tech in the salon. The work being done is professional and comes out great, after much direction, every single time. I have tried to visit more than a couple of times to see if my experience would change or if it just happened to be some kind of predicament that came up that caused them to not be able to provide professional customer service with. It seems that every time I come into the salon as a walk in, they are always short staffed. Their pictures are right on with the amount of chairs they have but the personnel is never there to serve as many people as there are chairs. Every time I go, every single time, there are about 5 people working the salon. They are extremely polite on apologizing for long (30min-1.5hour) wait times but after so many times of hearing the same thing, it just seems extremely unprofessional. I have had walk ins come after that have been seen before solely due to the fact that they're service is less time consuming. I have had to be turned away due to many customers waiting in line for a small amount of staff members. I have had to be turned away WITH an appointment because the salon is not able to juggle appointment times, walk ins, and estimated finish times for services. I will not be returning despite the close proximity to my location. I guess I will just have to go elsewhere as their prices are also not very competitive and never seem to have any specials. My friend recommended this salon and I decided to give it a try.  I am really glad I did.  Not only is their standard manicure/pedicure cheaper than my other salon, they offer more services like a neck massage.  My manicurist even massaged my back when I stood up to leave.  The pedicure was wonderful, but the manicure was one of the best I have ever had.  The manicurist saw some imperfection she didn't like, and buffed the polish and fixed it until it was perfect.  It was very peaceful, with soft spa music and old Sinatra songs.  So, if you want a relaxing and well done mani/pedi in the Bellaire area, you should go to Nail Bar & Spa. My husband and went for mani-pedis yesterday and were very impressed.The place is brand new so everything is spic and span, and the staff was great. They really took their time and did a great job. We didn't feel rushed and the didn't try to upsell us. They did a really nice job with my polish as well. So many places do an okay job, but then rush the polish...not here! When I saw that they opened a second location of my favorite nail salon in Houston I almost lost my mind. We recently moved away from the first location but as luck would have it, the brand spanking new GORGEOUS second store of this newly established chain is around the corner from my daughter's preschool! SCORE!I don't trust anyone else with my brows. Seriously. No one. They're perfectly arched, not too thin and meticulously groomed by the nailbar ladies. Spectacular spa pedicure massage chairs w/great exfoliation pedicures. My nails always have given me trouble with lifting but Van (owner/nail tech) manages to keep that from happening somehow with her vietnamese ninja nail tech skills. They also offer eyelash extensions that I'm looking forward to trying. :) SOOOO EXCITED that this location opened so I can continue to receive great service at really competitive prices.
