While leaving HEB one day I decided to give luxe nails a try. I got a basic manicure as I always do. Everything about the experience was lovely. The shop is beautiful and the nail tech was friendly. The reason I can only give them two stars is because after 3 days my nails already began chipping. I get manicures very frequently and typically they don't start to look like that until at least a week sometimes 10 days later. Don't waste your time or money, go to BK nails less than a mile down the road. Sure it's  not as pretty on the inside but your nails will look beautiful and will last. Read Less

Went there this passed Wednesday to get a shellac mani and a pedi. They were rushed super quickly and not great quality at all. During the pedi, they were helping to cut of ingrown nails on my big toes, they kept scraping it and I got an infection from it. I called and asked them if their was anything they could do. I have been going here since I moved to the Bee Cave area over a year ago. I noticed the staff can be a little abrupt at times but I felt it was worth it because I liked how they did my manicures & pedicures- but not today. Tina started doing my pedicure and she was really rough to the point she had to ask me if I was ok several times. I've had an issue with both big toes that needed extra attention & the male who works there always comes over and fixes them so they always look nice when I leave. Tina started to polish them & I nicely tried to explain to her what they usually do but she wasn't getting it. Then Catherine came over and tried to glue on an acrylic nail to my toe. I stopped her and tried to explain how the guy who works there always does it but she wasn't understanding me either. I finally just gave up and decided it wasn't going to happen. Catherine then said something to the effect of "if you don't like it you should just get someone else next time." I asked if the manager was there & she said, "not here." I told her she was rude & that I have never been treated this way before by a nail salon & left. I will be finding a new nail salon and would encourage anyone who is considering going here to rethink that. I had heard that the staff is really rude here when I first moved here but I decided to give them a chance. I will never go in that place again-there are too many nail salons around to put up with being treated so rudely. This has been my go-to salon for almost a year now.  I get my eyebrows waxed here and have always been pleased with that experience.   I also get Shellac manicures and basic pedicures and have always enjoyed my time here (I guess the complimentary white wine and Diet Coke helps).  The pedi chairs are super comfortable and I always have a pretty relaxing experience.  My Shellac manis last about 10 days without a chip which is pretty great since I'm a nurse and am washing my hands dozens of times every shift.  There was one recent time where my Shellac chipped after only a few days and they fixed the nail free of charge.  Of course it's busier on Fridays and the weekend but I've really never had to wait, and I never make an appointment I just walk in.  There's tons of parking out front (it's next door to HEB) and the prices are reasonable.  The salon is clean and I've never had issues with nail infections or getting my skin knicked with the clippers.  The staff is friendly and so are the other clients! Went into the salon to get a gel manicure and pedicure. The lady started my manicure by removing my previous SNS polish with the power grinder. I told her they were my real nails so to be careful. With the grinder she made my nails so thin and broke the middle one. I was in pain and my nails were too thin to get a gel manicure because they were all about to break so I cried! I felt dumb but they ruined my nails! They were like "Oh, well we can give you SNS but it will be $47". I was like, how is this my fault that you ruin my nails and make them so thin that I now need SNS? The final product is not smooth on my nails. Feels more like a nail factory then a spa.  Trying to push through as many people as possible without any care of a relaxing or professional experience. This was my 1st and last visit.  I was very clear on the length and shape I wanted and what I walked away with are nails that resemble a small child.   They were filed too short, are jagged and slanted.   I gave up asking her to fix them bc they couldn't get much shorter.   All of this caused by rushing through the SNS process.  There was no cuticle treatment, hand massage, just the dip.  2 stars are for pedicure which was a much better experience. Went in for a pink/white fill-in with gel (non-SNS). Instead got SNS, which I was already unhappy about since it wasn't what I asked for. The SNS pink/white looks terrible. The pink part is filled with bubbles and random lines from  It also appears one of the brushes used on me previously was used with glitter because there are random pieces of glitter embedded in my nails. The white part has areas that are very bumpy My nails weren't shaped very square, they're jagged at the ends and most of them are also uneven and crooked where the pink/white meets and at the end of the nails as well.I've been getting pink/white nails done for over eight years and this is by far the worst I have ever had. I've been here a few times and this is by far my worst experience. I was charged $80 for a $30 pedicure and a $50 fill! Who charges a $50 fill??  apparently I got charged for the shape I wanted "coffin" which looks nothing like the picture I asked for... my nail are all un even on the top. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS, I WOULD! I went in to get a shellac manicure on Friday evening around 530. I decided to give this place a shot bc my co worker goes to this salon. Brian(I'm assuming he's the owner) did my nails. When I sat down I showed him a picture of ombré nails And asked if he could do it, and told him if he couldn't, that it was no big deal. He assured me he could and began my manicure. When he was done, my nails looked nothing like the picture and looked awful. He looked at me and said "that's not what you wanted huh?" I said no but I appreciate you trying to do the ombré. He then grabbed a dark color and just painted over my manicure and re shellacked my nails. By this time it's 630 (they close at 7) he was rushing to get me out of there. It's cost me 30$ and I tipped him 6$. When I got home I was looking at my nails and I just hated them. They were so thick, they looked like "bubble nails". He didn't even paint over the previous manicure evenly, nor did he paint my nails all the way up to the top of my nail. It looked like I tried to shellac my nails at home. I went in right after work on Saturday bc I wanted the shellac removed and my money back. When I walked in he saw me right away, it was very busy and I showed him my nails and he admitted that they were bad. He tried to rush me to pick a color to re do my nails...at this point I just wanted them removed and my refund, I didn't have time to stay to re do my nails. He told me he wouldn't re fund me and even laughed when I asked him, he said "we're not a normal retail store, we never do refunds bc we provided you a service". Me: "a service that I'm not happy with, that doesn't make sense that you can't refund me". Brian:" well I will re do your nails,come in today, tomorrow, whenever" me:"well I don't have time today, but I want this removed today" Brian:" I can just sand down your nails and re paint them." Me:" well won't they be even thicker! That's 3 manicures on my nails!" Brian:" no bc I'll even it out". I was just thinking, how lazy of you! I refused and he was beyond rude and annoyed with me. He did not want to take the time to remove my nails. He then said "fine, I'll take them off but when you come back we are just doing PLAIN shellac, no manicure for you" he wraps my fingers to remove the shellac and says "10-15" mins. He then starts working on a ladies nails who was sitting at the table in front of me...he basically did a whole manicure and forgot about me. As I'm sitting there my fingers started to burn very badly from the acetone. Brian came by my table and I told him my fingers were burning. He said "well that's the only way to get it off" (I was furious, this is not ok, I'm telling you my fingers are burning and you don't give a shit!?) he finally comes over and removes my shellac. My fingers were burned and pruned from sitting so long. I was there for an hr to remove my manicure. Later that evening I had to soak my hands in ice water bc they started to burn pretty badly a few hours later. I will never go back here and I suggest that no one else does. I am frustrated that I just blew 36$! I had to go to my usual nail place and get them re done yesterday, so I've spent over 60$ on my nails and wasted 2 hours of my time. After having moved to Austin and realizing I needed a new salon, I was worried. How to find a good one...well, thank you to Stevie for recommending this one. They do superior work (I get gel nails and no chip pedis) and are all about quality. Great pricing and the spa is clean. I have gone in 2x to get nails fixed (like I broke 2 thumbnails) and he ended up fixing those two AND buffing out all the rest of my nails and touching them up- that lasted me an extra 10 days before I needed a fill!! I recently moved back to Austin after being away for 9 years and was looking to find a new go-to nail salon. After reading all the reviews of the salons in the Bee Cave area, I decided to give Luxe a shot. My mother and I popped in for a mani-pedi session and found the place to be clean, and have a warm and welcoming environment. We were seated in some truly AMAZING massage chairs and received impeccable attention from the individuals working on our toes and nails. The salon was pretty empty, but that is to be expected when you walk in at 2 o'clock on a Tuesday. The owners were extremely friendly and we ended up engaging in some great conversation while they worked on our nails. Some serious pro's include: - Awesome massage pressure- Attention to detail - Wide variety of shellac colors - THE MASSAGE CHAIRS! - Friendly staff - If you need to get some shopping done before or after your nails, HEB is a 5 second walk away I am on my second week of my shellac manicure, and it wasn't until this week and after some heavy duty painting and cleaning that my nails have started to chip. I am used to shopping at HEB next door and  needed a pedicure so I decided to come in to try the Signature spa treatment at 48 dollars so I asked if they did nail art and they were not clear what I wanted so I had to explain to the person doing my nails and understands little English overall this is a fast and effective place to have nails done but a communication problem but got it right this is just a fast place for a nice a relaxing time so I recommend a quickie lol Read Less

I went here from the time they changed to the current owners until last month (we moved to Cedar Park). For a high quality SNS (signature nail system) job, this is the best place in the Bee Cave/Lakeway area to go. Brian is a speed demon and funny, too! I never had my phone out texting there (because I think it's rude) so I really got to know him. I miss going already. The place is fancy looking and extremely clean. It would be a great place to go with friends, especially wedding parties or bachelorette groups.My nails always lasted three weeks here, so it was totally worth every penny to go. (P.S. This place checks all of my 'must have' boxes: Offers SNS nails, super fast service, convenient location, decent price, friendly staff, clean shop.I went in today with just a 10-minutes notice by phone and was seen immediately by Brian. He did my SNS nails quicker than I have ever had them done in the past and they look better than they ever had in the past! I appreciate the attention to detail that the staff here pays into the work. The minute you walk in the door it's very serene. This would be a great spa for any nail repuirement.
