DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE!!!
Tried this location out as it was convenient. When I went in they sat me down right away. Rather than let my shellac soak off, the "manager" Tami began to drill at them right away to the point where the drill was getting HOT on my nail, ultimately damaging my real nails. I asked if I should come back, maybe they were too busy at 1PM in the afternoon on a week day to take the time to do my nails correctly? Tami kept drilling away saying it was too difficult to get the shellac off the traditional way, this was necessary. Then she stormed off and sat Nancy down in front of me. It must have been Nancy's first time doing shellac as I had to ask her to wipe the shellac off of my skin over and over and OVER again. Anyone who has done shellac knows that if you get any of it on your skin and put it under the light, it WILL eventually PEEL up. Also I think that Tami must have told her to HURRY up and get finished with my nails because she acted like she was in a huge time pinch, just slopping polish on an not taking any care to see that she did a good job. ANOTHER THING, they didn't even bring out they color that I had chosen. It was a completely different brand, when I mentioned that they just argued with me. I finally got so frustrated with the horrible work, that I asked her to STOP doing my nails and let them know I would leave and go some place where they had the time and knowledge to do a better job. Then Tami proceeded to come by back over and said, "don't worry honey I'll come do them for you.".... she never did. Nancy did finally slow down, but it was super awkward and a HORRIBLE experience. When I go to get my nails done I expect it to be relaxing and a time to unwind. I couldn't relax from the time I sat down between the drilling, the wrong shellac polish, and slopping polish all over my skin.
I don't appreciate or tolerate being talked badly about in a different language either, it is very apparent that employees are talking about you even if you don't speak their language. I will go as far as to say, personally, I think it is rude and unprofessional to talk in another language in front of your customers who don't understand it. It is really a shame that so many nail salons basically get away with highway robbery, this salon being a prime example. They can basically charge whatever prices they want for services that aren't close to satisfactory and upcharge for bogus things in the end without ever making additional charges clear from the get go. "Oh we had to take your polish off, so that was $5 more." --- WELL you should have been clear about the before I agreed to your service. Most Americans will just pay whatever to avoid conflict, but I think if a few of us start refusing to pay for undisclosed service charges and have the gumption to get up and walk out if the service isn't adequate; it might put a halt to some of this UNFAIR, dishonest, and biased treatment. Nail salons are taking advantage of many of us and counting on us to do the "right" thing even when they don't do right by their customers. What happened to "the customer is always right?" Read Less
