Walked in for a new set and was seen immediately. Tech (Katie, I think?) removed my old set quickly and painlessly using a nail extension (normally I sit for 30 minutes of filing which I find extremely painful). She trimmed my nails, asked what shape I wanted and what service I wanted (SNS, colored acrylic, etc). I informed her I wanted clear acrylic with polish over. She applied the nail tips, cut them to the length I wanted, filed them and then applied the acrylic quickly and she did very well. She was gentle when filing the acrylic (most places are very rough to me, I have really sensitive cuticle areas). She painted my nails really well without any mistakes in the polish or getting any on my skin. I'm not sure why this place has negative reviews, this was definitely the best set application I've ever received. The tech was quiet, but I personally prefer that (I'm not a very social person). Shop was clean and had a calm atmosphere. I ended up paying $33 for the service (before I tipped). The last place I went charged me $48 for a fill. I wish I lived here so I could keep going back! My boyfriend and I went in for pedicures because of the convenient location. Without an appointment we didn't have to wait long. Their prices were pretty reasonable. Both of us enjoyed our pedicures. My complaint with this place is that none of my nail polish lasted more than a week. Upon getting outside in better light, I noticed just how bad my shellac was! It was clumpy and uneven and there was plenty on my skin. The areas where it wasn't on my skin (around some of the edges) there wasn't any polish. My toe nail polish had pieces just lifting off within 3 days; which I attribute to moisture that shouldn't have been under polish. I think my shellac was so bad because the lighting in there was awful! The manicurist couldn't see! They charged an extra $5 for something and we don't know what?! I spent 94 dollars for pure crap. My eyelash came off in one hour. Glue was put in my eye and she attempted to dig it out causing pain. I will never ever go back. My worst experience ever and the price wasn't worth the bs Read Less

All I wanted was a fill, but they refused to do my nails unless I let them take my nails off and put new ones on. I was charged $28 for new nails that have all either cracked or completely lifted off my real nails within 4 days. My nails are looking worse than they did when I walked in. I won't be coming back, my experience wasn't too "pleasant". Read Less

I just gotta say I LOVE my nails. I had a fabulous girl named Lacey do my nails and they turned out exactly how I wanted them. She was friendly and I WILL be coming back. It was only 67$ for a deluxe pedicure (hot towels,etc) and my full acrylic set including nail art. Thank you guys so much! Read Less

Up until today we have been pretty pleased with most of our experiences here. We've been coming here since 2010. We've had issues with bad nail painting jobs and the occasional cut during a pedicure, but we are creatures of habit and keeping coming back. Today because they keep jacking the prices of the dip nails around, it will be a while before we return. Will be looking for a new place to call our nail home. Read Less

Only gave one star because I could not give no stars. I went to get my daughter's nails done her first time and the lady did not have the time to answer any questions about my daughters nails. I wanted them done a certain way, since I am the one paying for them and she was completely annoyed by my questions. On time of that as I am going thru the shellac colors the older lady walks up to me and says, "You looking for color? No that's shellac more money." and takes the basket and gives it to her customer. I've been going to Twee @ Pleasant Nails now for about 81/2 years,I love this young lady. The shop is always clean,up to date equipment, and most of all very welcoming... I would definitely recommend them, you want be sorry!!! Read Less

I live literally two minutes around the corner from Pleasant nails. The lady told me to come in 30 minutes to do a simple strip lash that takes about 10 minutes. When I get there she starts a whole Nother pedicure and told me that I was late.  I told her ma'am I've been sitting here for 10 minutes you said come in 30 minutes and I got here at 130 I called you at 1 o'clock so you going to make me wait until you complete the entire pedicure? She had the nerve to tell me that I was late. But didn't have the courtesy to say is going to be another 20 or 30 minutes so I wasted my time and my gas on over there and I'm never going back!! I've been going here for the past 12 years and I've never been disappointed. I don't get to go as often as I used to, but they always remember who I am.
