I am very picky with my hair and who handles it, but since Paul Anthony has been doing my hair (at least for the past 4 years now), I never see it a problem to drive to Beaumont just for him. I highly recommend Jennifer Trager! I needed my hair fixed after another stylist royally messed it up. Not only did she fit me in quickly (next day!) but she took the time to really ask about what I wanted and how my hair got to how it was. I walked into the shop a hot mess and walked out feeling beautiful from my cut, color and style. On a side note, we had great conversation the whole time, which makes a huge difference for me to. Therese has been my beautician for over 25 years. She is bar none the best beautician around. She has a lot of very nice and professional people working at Impressions. There has only been a few occasions where Therese was not available and I went to one of the other girls to get my hair done and I received the same great service. Do NOT go here unless you're in the market for a really BAD haircut - this is frizz, NOT feathered! Tip for C: learn to layer instead of tearing up client's hair with thinning shears. The frizz is not even consistent & definitely NOT."invisible layers" ... If only it were invisible. Now I understand why you love the dry oil applied - it camo'd the frizz while you collected your fee (cash or check only) & tip. The lower edge is chopped off, again uneven, & not at all undercut... Kinda like Scout in "To Kill A Mockingbird". I daresay I could have done a better job of it myself. Must now pay for haircut elsewhere to fix this mess & will end up sacrificing INCHES to a length that is not particularly good for my face shape. Will be in touch with "salon" to pursue refund. My girlfriend went to this place a few days ago. The stylist overbooked and had to rush through her appointment.  She specifically asked that her bangs be cut a certain way and the stylist apparantly ignored her and cut them way too short.  Then when she was done with the trim and touch up on her roots she didn't even style it. When it came time to pay it cost 125.00 and they didn't take cards. So then she had to go to an ATM to get some money...and when she got the money the stylist got angry that she she wanted change back from the $140 dollars given to her.  My favorite part was when I called back and asked how much it would cost to do the same thing they told me $95.00. I asked why she just paid 125.00 for the same thing and she told me that they're independent and it wasn't her that did her hair. I guess what I'm trying to say is make sure you ask how much it costs before you go. Read Less
