First time I have ever been here. And will not ever go again.. gave one star because the lady in the front was very nice. Got shellac on my nails and for the first time ever I mean ever the shellac came off two days after getting them done, yes I went back and they fixed them for free , but still two days later it came off again.. crazy I have never had shellac come off.. and I always wear that on my nails because it is durable .. but the tech didn’t know what he was doing and he shaped them all wrong. My mom and I really enjoyed the Nail Bar.  She's been coming for a while and shared that our experience today was on par with her past experiences.  Despite other Yelpers' reviews, everyone was very friendly and all of the men were polite, courteous and really respectful.  My mom and I both had male nail technicians who offered us drinks from their complimentary drink menu (see pic attached) as well as made suggestions for me regarding great drinks.  I had originally requested a regular white wine but changed to the Lady in Red - a yummy sweet Vodka cocktail :)As far as our spa pedicures, we both were very professional and to our likening.  I had a shellac pedi and she choose a regular polish pedi.  Not sure why others haven't had a good experience and would encourage you to go and test the waters yourself.  We had a great time today! Love this place! Very clean and never had a long wait. While you're waiting, they offer a cocktail, beer or wine. I love that you can pay $1 for your own nail file and board so when you come back, you can use it again. I have mainly gotten pedicures, I got my nails done once and they stayed on for a long time, no problems! The only negative I have is that you can't write a tip on your CC, you have to have cash..which I never carry on me. They do have an ATM though that only charges .50 to withdrawal money. I wanted to try a new place closer to home so i stopped at this place but be aware if you have kids do not take them, the lady in the front desk was very rude even though the whole time i was there they sat down watching videos on their phone and would only get up to throw away trash. My nails came out horrible with bumps/bubbles on them and the clear top coat they put on top started to peel in just 2 days. If i could attach a pic of them I would. Went here for full set and pedicure paid $100, a week later my nails were lifting and my toe nail polish was chipping. Went back for them to fix it and not even 3 days later after they fix it the clear gel on my nails is coming off. This place is over priced and use cheap products. Read Less

Took my wife to get her nails done and the first time they did them i saw a few bumps on the nails. So i asked to get it fixed and they did but 2 days later her nail came off and i called if they could put it back on. The lady said sure yeah we can do it for free since its still from this week. When my wife went in the lady was so rude and didnt even put the nail the same length as the others were. She even charged 5 dollars for it. A few days later the nails were starting to come off. Overpriced nails!! 36 dollars for refill and i was asked to leave a tip cash. I was sent to the ATM. Pedicure are extremely priced and they don't do nothing to your feet. i am not a complainer ever but this is my second time for a refill and came since they had the color. The customer service I received was awesome. Everyone was very nice, place was clean and there is nothing like a glass of wine to relax with while getting your nails and feet done. Love ❤️ the atmosphere you can get pampered and also have a couple of drinks it was a pleasant experience while I had my pedicure but the guys that did my nails wasn't very friendly he had his earphones on and watching tv. I was so thrilled the first few times I went here. So clean and nice! However, the last few times I have been, the experiences have been terrible. Don't get me wrong MOST of the people who work here are nice. There is one guy in particular who is rude, disrespectful, and just plain mean. He seems to be the one who I always end up getting. The first time he yelled at me to be still, I was so stunned I couldn't even reply to him to tell him where to go. I thought "ok, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe it's a language barrier thing." He kept telling me to leave my child alone and not worry about her. I'm, sorry man...if my kid is misbehaving in a nail salon I'm going to correct her. He is JUST PLAIN RUDE! He has no manners at all.The last time I was in he was not my nail tech, but still yelled at me for something. Dude, I'm not a kid.  You are in a service industry- be careful how you speak to customers.Anyway, I feel that the quality of work has gone downhill, as well. I went in four days ago to get my nails and toes done the atmosphere was good and the staff seemed welcoming except the gentleman who did my nails. Shortly into him starting my nails my husband asked if he would be doing my toes and he said no that he didn't touch feet so he asked who would be and the man said someone else he wasn't sure which was fine. My husband stepped outside and the man proceeded to tell me that he didn't need to touch feet he made enough doing nails that I should take my husband to rice university and show him it's a billion dollar business and continued with he probably makes more then my husband not only was this offensive it was infuriating considering my husband only asked a simple question. If that wasn't enough he cut two fingers and didn't cut my actual nails down so I have some longer then the white tips he put on. It's only been four days and already the acrilic is starting to come off of my nails and some of the white tips came unglued from my nails leaving just the acrilic holding it on. My toes also came out messed up the guy who did them didn't paint them all the way there is spots where the color didnt reach and a day after my pedicure my but toe started to itch and is now red and slightly swollen. I had to go buy foot cream for athletes foot for it. I don't understand I've heard only amazing things about this place but my experience was a complete flop. Tyler was awful. I asked if they could do a certain design before I waited the 30 minute wait. Then he does my nails and it looked nothing like the picture, like at all. So he started over and got somone else to the design. Then, I also staged I wanted matte nails, however he gave me gloss and then got mad and said why didn't I remind him. I tried this place out as my current salon is a good drive to Pasadena. I opted for a shellac manicure. The service was disappointing. Options limited. And not a good performance. My biggest pet peeve when coming to a salon is being rushed. The technician was nice but seemed extremely nervous to get me out of the chair. She rushed through my manicure; left polish on my skin and would have left it there had I not pointed it out. Then before my service was done I was moved out of the chair for her to "massage my hands"... It was a horrible and rough slap of lotion on my hands.  She moved me out for another person to begin getting a service. I just came from getting my nails done and Paul did a bad job, first of all he act like I am a child telling me I ask too many questions. Then he didn't file my nails properly and couldn't paint my nails good at all. That's why he received no tip. He has a nasty attitude. I absolutely recommend this nail salon. It's the best in the area! As soon as you walk in, you feel welcomed, and they also offer drinks ;).I went to Paul and he did my nails to perfection.
