I paid 40 for dip powder manicure which is an reasonable price. What made me give them a 5 star is that although the store looks a bit plain, the customer service is A+. I love my nails!!! I came here with old acrylics that needed to be removed because my nail bed has been worn down from wearing them so long. But my nails were restored and after getting a gel manicure, they look healthy and beautiful!! My technician was rude and short with me. I have never been to a nail spa where the SNS manicure could not include anything besides just the polish. I got no cuticle work, lotion, or any thing else done to my hands besides solely the polish and it wasn't done very well. I would recommend trying somewhere else to get more for your money. Tracy is amazing! She has been doing my nails/pedicures for 6 years and is amazing! Everyone always complements me on my nails! I also get a handful of skin products from her which are reasonably priced. But the best part is the skin care since I've been getting it done my face looks and feels amazing. Tracy does awesome treatments, she did a dermaplanning & a nano treatment on me before I went on vacation and used a mask for cooling the skin that I really loved. It felt great. She has also done lymph drainage massage treatments on me to help get rid of my headaches that I have constantly. She is great nail tech, esthetician & person. Read Less

I have been going to Tarry Town Nails for eleven years.Even though I don't live close, I won't consider going anywhere else for my manicures, pedicures and waxing. This salon is always clean and employees are friendly and professional.  They have a ton of polish and gel colors to choose from. The pricing is reasonable on all services. All the employees are friendly and very good at what they do. The owner expects the Best for her customers and her Employees deliver. I usually call ahead for an appointment but have just walked in and they always get me in quickly. If you want to feel pampered.....give Tarry Town Nails and Spa a try. I am a spa-going, downtown-dwelling, professional, and absolutely love TT Nails. They are very fast, always remember your name, you never have to ask them to do your nails at the "same time" as your pedicure because that's just their preferred style.My manicure is always spot on. There's a reason Passion Nail has a 30 minute wait and Tarrytown Nail can get you in immediately. My pedicure and manicure were both rushed. She didn't even attempt to scrub my feet and I haven't had a pedicure since July! I know they needed a good scrubbing. They rubbed lotion on my feet and legs for 10 minutes, I wouldn't call that a massage. The technician that painted my nails did a sloppy job. They've also raises their prices. I paid $42 for a basic manicure and pedicure. There's no reason to go here. It's worth waiting somewhere else to get better service! Read Less

I've been going to Tarrytown Nails for years and I have always had good experiences, but recently....twice in a row now....I have had some not so great experiences. One morning, a new employee cut my skin repeatedly while attempting to carry on a conversation with other employees while cutting, filing my nails. Today, the woman doing my nails was so busy with her conversation with her friend next to her that she took double the usual time to do my nails. I hope they read these reviews so that they can make sure they maintain their reputation. I'd hate to have to find another nail place after having been so pleased with them these past years. i would like to take this time to apologize to the people ive hurt. After hearing things that aren't true from a former employee that is crazy i assumed the worst. This studio is the reason why i have become who i am today. Everyone that works here is amazing, sweet, positive and they care about everyone of their students. The owner is probably the best boss anyone could ever have. She is so hard working and does everything she can to please her students and parents. They are very organized and make dancing soo much fun! I want to point out one particular teacher Kerin. She is the one that inspired to be an amazing young women and to never give up. Over the years she has always made all the classes i took SO much fun. She made dancing such a big and fun part of my life the last few years. If you want a studio that cares about you and your students this is the place to come.
