If quality, relaxation or customer service matter to you, avoid this place at all costs!! The woman that runs it (Betty) is unbelievably rude and impatient. I was there for a shellac manicure and it was the worst nail salon experience ever. The manicurist did not remove the old shellac on the end of my nail. When I pointed it out, she partially removed it by cutting my nail off (because she was in a hurry to finish). Next, she got up and walked away in the middle my manicure. For the next 15 minutes, while I waited for the manicurist to return, the woman doing my pedicure began to chastise me for "interrupting" the manicurist that walked away. She said that they only have an hour to do my nails and when I "interrupt" (to ask them to remove all of the shellac), they run out of time. I've never felt so rushed or treated so rudely at a salon before. The manicurist never came back. Instead, the receptionist told me that she was sick and was being sent home. She said that they did not have enough time to finish my manicure, but that I could come back two days later for them to finish. When my pedicure was done, the manager (Betty) tried to charge me for both the pedicure AND the manicure. Unbelievable. I told her that I shouldn't have to pay for the manicure because the manicurist walked off in the middle of it and didn't finish. To that, Betty replied, "They look good to me." Wtf?? I paid for my pedi and walked out, but Betty followed me to my car and said, "Don't bother coming back." I had no intention of doing that, so I said, "I will NEVER come back here and neither will any of my friends!!" This woman is seriously off her rocker! I have never been treated so rudely or so rushed before. And the fact that she tried to charge me for the unfinished manicure and then followed me to my car was completely unbelievable, especially considering how overpriced they are!! Read Less

Worse pedicure of life. Took an hour and a half. Did not trim cuticles and refused to give me shellac polish. Thus polish used chipped within a week.Went in as a couple. Pedicurist spent most of time talking to my boyfriend. Read Less

Was in from Denver as the MOH in a girlfriends wedding and found this amazing place via Yelp! They were a pleasure to work with over the phone to get the bridal party of 8 in as a group for mani/pedis. We arrived and they allowed us to bring champagne, which they served us using their stemware and had enough technicians so that all of us were able to have our pedicures in one room, in beautiful copper bowls at the same time. After the pedicures we easily transitioned to manicures - all of which were done beautifully. The staff and technicians were wonderfully friendly, the salon is beautiful and clean. Peace, Love, Nails was the perfect place for us, and very reasonably priced. If I lived in Austin, this would be my go-to. Read Less

I went to Peace, Love, Nails last week and had Kara as my technician. She was excellent and her manicure lasted longer than any other I've ever had. They are super friendly and welcoming so, you feel completely at ease while there. I'll definitely go back and I'm so happy they are in my neighborhood! This is a great place to come and relax. We offer places to lounge, a manicure bar, pedicures in copper bowls while you sit in comfortable club chairs. There are two TVs playing movies and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. We'll be offering shellac too soon! I can't wait. Read Less
