Their customer service is good. They give you a warm welcome, offer your drinks and really make you feel comfortable BUT I just wish they paid more attention to the detail on their work. I gave this place not 3 but 4 chances to get it right. I know I should’ve just stopped lol My pedicures usually come out okay but the manicures are horrible. I have two jobs right now so I hardly have time to for myself. I went and got Tina to do my nails. She has really good reviews so I wasn’t that nervous and expected my nails to look good. I went around 7pm knowing they close at 8pm so I asked if it wasn’t too late if there was enough time. Of course she said yes but as she was doing my nails a last customer came in so she started rushing. I was trusting her since she claims to know what she is doing but at the end of it they are all bumpy,crooked and just don’t look right lol I was tired and did not want to be there any longer so I just paid and left. I gave this place many chances and I’m just going to go somewhere else from now on. I first came here a couple days ago to get a broken nail fixed. I'm here from out of town for work purposes for a few weeks. That day I was happy with how she fixed the nail. Didn't even look like it had been broken. So today I come back to get my lashes removed and fixed. They had a few customers so she asked if I'd like to get a pedicure while I waited. I agreed but I told them I wanted the exact same design as I already had because it matches my nails. She said no problem. That they could do it. So I sit down and get the pedicure. She did a real crappy job. Didnt when file the skin all the way around or anything. When it came to doing the design , she redid it like three times , every single time looking like a kid did it. Then the owner comes over and tried and it's almost just as bad. I finally tell them just leave them plain. When they finish with my toes, she asks me what I wanted for my finger nails. I told her no, I came for lashes. The owner goes to the back and comes out and tells me she's sorry but all her glue is dried up and I can come back tomorrow. 1. I came today because I needed them fixed for today. 2. It's now almost 10 pm. I've been here over four hours. I didn't need the freaking pedicure. I just did it to kill time while waiting for her to get to my lashes. So it's now too late to go anywhere else. 3. You should've freaking known you didn't have glue 4 hours ago when I walked in . Then I go to pay for this extremely bad pedicure. And the owner tells me I owe her $65. Excuse me? She said the charged me for the pedicure, take off the Polish , and to put more polish with shellac on. And on top of all that , my left toe is burning under the nail. The best nail place ever. I liked the fact that they take time with you. Pedicure normally hurts but this one didn't. Thd massage chair abs massage were so rejaxjbg that I was able to close my eyes abs just tejax. The sea scrubs felt good. I love this nail shop. The interior feels tropical; a warmer blooded individual might even find it warm but its balmy and nice to me. The ladies are kind, seem happy & always have an abundance of smiles and gracious gestures. Im a tomboy and having my nails done is always a chore, but its cool here. Also important to mention is that they take their time, very meticulous so plan to spend an hour or more. The environment is condusive to comfort and I dont get that "SOMEONE GET ME OUTTA HERE" feeling like i do when im sitting forever somewhere. I came in an hour and a half before they closed wanting acrylic nails! They were very nice and welcoming as soon as I walked in they let me know it'd be a wait til my turn and offered me soda and wine and water! (I took a soda) they handed me swatches to look at while I waited as well. I ended up choosing a yellow color and short stiletto nails! The owner Im assuming did the acrylic part and her daughter (also assuming) took over for filing and applying the polish and rhinestones! The filing ended up taking forever (no problem to me! They very willingly stayed past closing time) and I never felt rushed at all! I'm definitely gonna be sending people their way and I'll be getting my refills here as well! The worst shellac manicure I've ever had. Chipped in less than a week!! Paid $50 for only a week of painted nails after she rushed the whole process to get on to the next person. They overcharged me because I picked a certain fancy nail polish when there was no sign stating there would be an up charge. She was very pushy in trying to get me to get the deluxe pedi and mani even when I had told her I simply wanted the basic three times. The only reason I gave this place two stars is because they served me wine.Definitely never going back. Read Less

Had the best experience today with Tina at Crystal Nails and Spa. She recommended that I get the SNS Dipping Powder nails because this product helps strengthen your natural nail and it lasts up to a month! I don't get my nails done often (maybe 1-2 times a year) so when I do, I like it to last as long as possible. The issue I have with normal polish or shellac is that I mess up my nails the second I walk out of the salon door. The powder is 100% solid when you leave. The only liquid step is the final top coat and it sets perfectly. Highly recommend Tina who is very skilled and even more friendly and Crystal Nails for your next manicure. Read Less

Today I came in with a picture I found on google I showed Tina and she was more than happy to help me get the nail look I wanted. Overall my experience was not a good one. The pedicure itself was pretty good. Massage was long and the tech was detailed enough in the execution of the pedicure. But unfortunately the negative things outweigh the positive.Negative things:1) It troubled me that the nail tech cleaned the tools in my foot water as my feet were in there because I really hope this is not their only method of sanitizing the tools.2) They need better control on the temperature of their paraffin wax. It was hotter than it should be and left mild burn marks on my feet. This is certainly not my first time experiencing a paraffin wax treatment and I certainly know what to expect. This was too hot and the temperature was not regulated.3) Sloppy nail polish application.4) This was the icing on the cake.... The owner made a compliment about my age and said I looked very young for my age. This perplexed me as she did not see my drivers license so I am uncertain how she knew my actual age. Then immediately thereafter she said my pedicure was not $45 but rather $50 because I selected a nail polish that was more expensive. I told her that she should have informed me of the $5 upcharge when I was selecting my polish (she was standing there during my selection and said I picked a good durable product). Her response was: well now you know for next time. I was not about to work myself up and vehemently dispute the upcharge otherwise it would defeat the purpose of going there for a relaxing experience. I did a quick search and came upon Crystal Nails. Like the reviews said, don't be detoured by the outside. Once inside, it's cool and very decorative. I was immediately greeted and seated for my pedicure. They did a great job and the massage was the best part! You can tell they weren't used to doing designs so another person had to come and do it. They have all of the new gel nail colors and different brands. They are really great and really provides awesome service. I was in Austin and stumbled upon Crystal Nails & Spa. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. Prices were good and being able to have wine during my pedicure made it even better. The place was very clean. They have a large selection of shellac and designs they can do with shellac. I don't know why this place has such poor reviews. My experience here wasn't bad! I got just a gel color change and had my nails reshaped. $20 and the lady doing them was very gentle and kept asking me for feedback to make sure I was happy. Granted, the nails weren't perfect, have a bump on one of them and another the polish goes a little over the cuticle, but I only paid $20 and am happy with the service. Read Less

Here's a list of the things wrong with this place:- old crackled nail polish- don't know ANY English- didn't mention that the credit card machine was broken until going up to pay then being told to "walk to an ATM" - waited over an hour to get clear polish on my nails. I always try new places and they have had the best customer service that I've noticed! -Deluxe pedi is usually not that much different than the basic at most places, but here it's worth the extra 10 bucks! Just got a gel manicure with the girl. She was very helpful with my color selection.She was meticulous, and I can't find an imperfection in my nails. She was also friendly, but not too talkative.
