Last time I was here a lady who was pregnant did my eyebrows. When I asked her to correct the misshapen bits of my eyebrows she got very irritated with me. So I walked up to the front, paid and said I was very dissatisfied with my service. At that point I started walking to my car and got in. The other lady (Mindy, I think) came running out with a gift certificate and she apologized profusely for my dissatisfaction. She said she did not want to lose my business and gave me a ...gift certificate for a complimentary eyebrow wax on my next visit. So today I go in for my complimentary eyebrow wax, give my gift certificate to the older man working there and ask for Lea Lea or Mindy as I was told when I was given the gift certificate. When Lea Lea finished my eyebrows she did a great job. I thanked her and left. As I was walking to my car I was chased down in the parking lot by the older man saying the gift card was only for $9 and I needed to come back and pay. I told him it was given to me for a complimentary eyebrow wax in order to not lose my business! How embarrassing was this in front of the entire shop, other customers looking at me like I was a thief because I was being treated like a thief. I had the most wonderful experience at this place. Staff was very friendly and most of all they all spoke English. Most every place I went before, they all spoke there own language. I'm extremely picky when it comes to my nails. So picky that I rarely get them done bc I can never find anyone that I'm 100% satisfied with! More times than not, I end up doing them myself bc I got so frustrated with paying an arm and a leg to leave dissatisfied and time wasted! Well after thorough research and reviewing pictures and reviews, I decided to give this place a try. I must say, Vivian did an excellent job!! Not to mention, my nextgen was very reasonably priced!! It's now 2 weeks later and my nails have held up pretty well. I am constantly using my hands, cooking, cleaning and caring for my kids so it's definitely gone through a lot!Pics attached are of when I first got them done and 2 weeks later. The color isn't as bright and shiny anymore. There's a bit of lifting under the nail which is starting to create a slight discoloration (whiter shadow when looking head on at the nail) but not very noticeable. Going to try and make it 3 weeks before getting them redone.Overall, well worth the cost spent!!Only complaint is that their selection of colors to choose from isn't as wide as other places I've been to!Edit: 17 days later one of the nails popped off. I decided to check this nail spa out since the reviews seemed pretty good. I went there today for a pedicure for my daughter and I and I will not be going back. My daughter and I were serviced immediately however everything after that was not good. We both complained about them cutting our cuticles, it hurt way too bad. My daughter is 10 she should have to feel any pain. My feet was only in the water for about 2 min when I got there then afterwards it was out of water until after she needed to wash off the scrub then drained the water. I was not offered anything to drink nor was my daughter. The only thing good about this visit was the massage chair!!!! My nails were messy with nail polish on my skin and it was not cleaned off. I've been happy with the work I've had done. About nine times I've been in so I'm definitely a loyal regular customer. But I won't be back. Probably petty of me but the reward program is a joke. Okay so let me start off with the first time I went there with my husband it was absolutely a great experience! This time not so much the nail tech kept laughing because I took some of my fake nails off myself and that is very uncomfortable to say the least! My husband came up there to calm me down he was already upset because I was explaining to him via text what was going on and when he came in there everything was alright because they had recognized him and then they started being a lot nicer and also last time we were in we tipped 50%! Got there at 4:30 pm after work. They told me to pick a color and that someone would be right with me. After picking a color, they decided that they were too booked to take me for the night. Keep in mind that they close at 6:30pm Monday- Friday (30 minutes earlier than most other nail shops). There was no one waiting in the front lounge. I guess they decided that getting out of there on time meant denying people that come right after work. I don't mind finding a new shop since they close early and their prices are a bit higher. Love. Love. Love. I have gone to every nail salon from Denton to Frisco, and have always been disappointed in one way or another. This place has never disappointed. Wow this place is great..great prices. Great service. Came in for a pedicure. Great selection and reasonable prices.  They have curtains in between each pedi chair for privacy. They give you a warm pillow for your neck and drinks.  Great atmosphere. Clean modern and new. My pedicure was awesome very relaxing no wait and a great massage. I will definitely be back. I've been going since they opened. I only chose acrylic nails prior as nexgen always seemed to chip on my paper thin nails. I told them that and they took extra care with my nails and I've never had a chip! I love this place. The staff is friendly, the facility is clean and the prices are fair. I rarely treat myself to a mani/ pedi.. but yesterday made an exception. I don't like getting pedicures because I get terrible ingrown toe nails and every salon I've been to, they hurt me & they've attempted to cut them out and end up making it worse. Vivian took care of me. She noticed one toe was sensitive and starts working at it. I freak out, extremely nervous I'm about to be in pain. She gets the ingrown nail out and I felt NOTHING. I was AMAZED. They constantly asked if they could get me anything and kept asking if I needed a refill on my water. Best experience I've ever had anywhere and I will absolutely be going back here! I'm so happy this new nail spa is by my neighborhood. The one that I've tried before they were pushy and I didn't like the vibe. It was calm and relaxed here. Everyone was kind and it was quick. I wanted the neygen and it was great. They did a great job. Michael was kind and did a great job on my nails. This was my 2nd time getting neygen and I will come back here from now on. I almost don't want to leave a review as I'd love to keep this place to myself thats how great I think it is! However, this business deserves so much recognition and anyone in the area looking for a relaxing experience needs to try them out!I came in on a Sunday by myself and I was seated right away. While I did make an appointment, and this is to be expected, at other salons I've still been left waiting.The young girls who run or work the front are very attentive, communicate well and I wasn't just sat down in a chair and left. I was offered a drink immediately and they continued to check on me throughout the appointment. At no point though did it feel like too much. Andi and Vivian were great! They both did a good job balancing between being conversational so that I was comfortable and letting me relax while they worked. I really felt like I got my "money's worth" on the Grand pedicure and nexgen nails and that almost never happens at every other salon I've been to. It was obvious that each customer along with myself was given the same amount of attention and time to relax and at no point did I feel abandoned or unimportant. Very disorganized and bad service! I walked in and asked for a medi and pedi one young kid who wears his pants half down his ass with his underwear hanging out told me to follow him. He left me standing by the center island then he walked back to the front desk. He came back and directed me to the chair. He asked what I wanted and I said basic medi and pedi. He went back and got to book and asked me which one? I pointed to basic service. He then rolled his eyes and made a face! And said why not gel, I said I don't like them.He never bothered to ask me if I wanted anything to drink. Then preceeded with the tude! Something was telling me to just leave but I didn't listen. Then a Women sat next to me and because she was getting gel nails spending more $ they swarmed her in a major ass kissing session. Then I was finally asked if I wanted something. Rather interesting I thought!A Women came over to do my nails on my hands then left and a different one came over and she ripped my cuticle and made it bleed. Rubbed a ton of loation on my arm and then said thank you and left goops of loation on my arms. Needless to say, when I got home I had looked at my feet and nail polish was every place. Smh worse $41.00 ever spent. NEVER GOING BACK and telling every Person I know about that PATHETIC place!!!! This salon just opened in the 380 area about a week ago. I live nearby and decided to try it out. They have a wonderful staff and were very friendly.
