I rarely write bad reviews as I am a business owner myself so good reviews are always helpful. I have to share my experience as I was very dissatisfied. It was my first time visiting this place and I specifically told the receptionist it was my first time. The receptionist was very friendly and good customer service I have no complaints about that. My experience with the nail tech lady was not good at all her name was Courtney. Felt like she didnt know much or was new, seemed like she didnt even want to be there barely even said a word. The pedicure was terrible asked her to put a powder tip and she made a face like she didnt know so I nicely said if you cant thats ok you can just put a regular tip she ignored me and did the powder dip I thought ok maybe she knows how. Then I did a powder dip and it was horrible the nails were thick, uneven, wider than my natural nail bed. Then when its time to pay they said my total was $77 I was so upset I feel liked I got robbed the quality of my nails was not worth the amount I paid . I dont mind paying that kind of money for my nails if its good quality. The only good thing I have to say about this place is that the only person who was friendly was the receptionist. I hate writing bad reviews for any business, no matter how horrible the service was. I run a small business myself, so I know how hard and important it's to build a good review rating! HOWEVER, this experience was beyond anything I've ever experienced. Life is extremely busy for everyone. I called and was informed they take walk ins. I got off work early so I can get a pedicure in before picking up my kids from daycare. I arrive to Palms Nail Bar at 4, they tell me the earliest they have available for a pedicure is at 5:45. I told them that's way too long of a wait and I left. I went picked up my kids from school, called Palms Nail Bar and made an appointment for 6:30 that same day. I finally found a babysitter so I can go to my appointment. I get there at 6:25 and they tell the earliest I can be seen is at 6:50. SO INCONSIDERATE! SO UNPROFESSIONAL! DON'T STATE YOU TAKE WALK INS WHEN THAT INVOLVES A TWO HOUR WAIT! AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, DON'T GIVE OUT APPOINTMENTS YOU CAN'T ENSURE. RESPECT PEOPLE'S TIME. IT'S NOT EASY FINDING A BABYSITTER ON A WEEKDAY AFTER 6!! Read Less

I’ve been this nail shop about 3 or 4 times. No doubt about it that they do a great job. However , I was never informed that when I booked the service I also needed to book the type of polish I wanted. I’ve always just picked the gel color upon arrival. Once the nail tech was complete I told her I wanted gel in a specific color. She told me she didn’t have time and I need to book the gel service online. So I left with no color on my nails. Then when checking I was supposed to be charged for a $15 fill because I was an exisiting customer, not the $19. So the receptionist took it off and said she would charge me the $15 but she didn’t it was some random price. Very very dissatisfied! I really thought I finally found my “ go to” nail salon. I was completely blown away. From the website, to the appointment set up, to the wait time, to the work done, all the way to the customer service. I have never had a better nail experience. I don't think I will go anywhere else. My nails look perfect -- right out of a dream. Shade is amazing. She is professional, personable, and a perfectionist. Her work is QUALITY. This was my first time going to the salon. I took a chance on it because it had several positive reviews. It was clean, quiet, and I was offered something to drink more than once by different people. It was appreciated. My pedicure, I give 4 stars and my manicure I give 5 stars. Two different technicians: my pedicurist Tay was aware of how picky I was because I made that clear yet I had to ask more than once to fix things. My manicurist was detailed and made sure every little detail was there without me having to say a word. I forget her name but she was pregnant. Will go back again because 4 out of 5 ain't bad. Gel nails.This is a small nail salon with three pedicure chairs and four manicure stations.  A friend of mine recommended Marrisa Tran so, since I havent had my nails done in a long while, I decided to give her a try.  She was very sweet and is an expert in her craft.  While looking for this place, it took a while to find it because the name of the salon is small on a sign inside of a tinited window.  It is the middle downstairs suite and along with Palms Nail Bar there is a yoga place I think and a couple other things. Parking for this little complex is a little tough too when you go during evening hours. But I eventually found a spot and walked over.Bathrooms = didnt useSalon seemed clean and the tools/products they use to do your main/pedi were new. I honestly probably wont be back just because there wasnt really anything special and there is an equally as nice if not better salon down the street from my residence. Marissa is absolutely incredible. The spa is clean and gorgeous with very high quality manicure/pedicure stations and nail polish. On top of all this the service is spot on. Marissa does an incredible job with nail art and polishing in general. She has a very creative talent! I got my nails done by Marrisa and it was absolutely amazing!! She took her time and focused on every detail. She asked my opinion about my nails to see whether I like the shape, length, and etc. I've never seen my nails look this good before! I enjoy the space and the fact that it wasn't busy. I was Referred by ASK KIRK LOCKHART | Nail salon | Pedicures in Arlington Texas. Me and my wife got a Manicure and Pedicure. It was a Nice Private Space near Matlock. Atmosphere was Friendly. We went around 4pm so it was not over crowded. Read Less
