On a recommendstion from a friend, I went in for just a pedicure, but my toes looked so great that I got my fingers done too.  This was my first experience with NexGen nails too.  My nails not only look beautiful, but they are so much stronger.  I've received a lot of compliments.  I will definitely return.  OH!!! I go to this place often and get this one girl everytime that is amazing. However, this past experience was less than amazing. I got a man this time, who wasn't wearing a name tag. I had seen everyone around me be asked if they would like a drink, however mine didn't think twice about me. I had to ask him and he said five minutes to which turned to 15 minutes later. Now I only get so often to relax and I was excited for relaxing time as I have had at this place before. The man rushed through my manicure as if it were a race. My finger even started to bleed and he said it was because my cuticles were too dry, yet he kept grinding away at them quickly. He would constantly push my hand away when he was done, and didn't even offer me any type of design. No care, no compassion for what he was doing. Now I am redoing my nails at another nail salon wasting me another 50 bucks. I'll probably be back, but only by appointment with that girl that actually takes her time with me. Update: I set an appointment this time with the salon to be there at 3. The man on the phone said that would be no problem. I had an hour for lunch and I wanted to get them done within that time frame which is why I set the appointment. When I got there, the lady was nice and let me sit down. I picked my colors and started to wait in my chair. I was facing the front and a lady walked in with no appointment. She got seated and right away they started on her nails. I figured, ill wait a little longer, it was busy, so I figured my technician was just held up. 20 minutes later, still no one. I went to the front and asked when my nail lady would be available. She then said, we got so many walk ins at the time of your appointment and you didn't get here until after 3 so we seated them first. First of all, I was there at exactly 3, second, what is the point of me setting an appointment if they don't honor it. I walked out and will never EVER go back. Read Less

I used to love this place but the last two times have been very disappointing. I took my daughter and we asked for 2 pedicures. She was given a terrible kid pedicure and was still charged $20 and that is not what she wanted or asked for. And when I told them after that was not right they didn't care and didn't offer to do it right but still charged me $20.Read Less

Went here with my sister and mother. My sister goes here quite a bit. Her nails normally look great. Bottom line- my gel set peeled right off of 3 nails after about 9 days. Same with my mother's set. My sister gets nexgen and hers lasts a while. I think they have much more expertise with the dip powder and acrylic than with gel. The salon was not very busy this particular day. There were enough nail techs for every customer to have one person on nails and another on feet. They told me they could do ombré pink and white with gel. That was a lie. It turned out looking like a 2nd grader was watercoloring. They kept trying and trying to make it look better but it never did. Even after I told them to just do them all one color and forget about the ombré they kept at it- pretty much just to get the extra $10 for the ombré. My pedicure was just ok. Massage was just ok. Nail polish started to peel in about 4 days. I took my gel set off and went ahead to my normal salon about 2 weeks later. This gel set is still on there and looks beautiful and I went to my salon 3 weeks ago.Oscar is good for nexgen, but not for gel and the pedis are just ok. My regular nail salon is much better. I only went here because I promised my sister we could all go for her graduation. Read Less

Tiffany does an amazing pedicure. But I won't go to this salon for anything else. I'm hoping that the girl at the front desk is the owner's daughter, because I can't imagine for the life of me why she's the "face of the salon" otherwise.  I was so turned off the last time I was there - she ran the water for my pedicure and walked off. The water was scorching hot! Uh, a little heads up woulda been nice. I "pick a color" for NexGen but she didn't get it nor did she communicate with the girl who was doing my manicure. And then when I was checking out, she charged an extra $5 cause my nails were filed into an almond shape instead of a square. I've been to 3 salons in Allen in the last year - no one has ever charged extra for filing my nails. Get a more professional receptionist and you might get more business - the place is always half empty! Read Less

Been to this place twice. The spa pedicure is decent and the massage chairs provide you good comfort while your feet get pampered! But 2 weeks later I notice my soles are beginning to crack. So I will not vouch for the quality of products being used! Maybe the massage chair is just not worth it after all! However my second visit is where it all went south! After being told that would be attended to in the next 10 minutes I warmed the chair for about 30 minute before I gracefully exited! Not to mention I was waiting for atleast ten minutes before the front desk personnel acknowledged my presence!Pathetic holiday experience! I have been going to this salon for years and it has totally gone down hill.  Made and appointment for my daughter and I to get manis and pedis and still had to wait an hour to be seated.  They sat my daughter in a chair that had not been cleaned and it was filthy.  They did clean it after I asked.  2 nail techs began working on our nails and then left mid way for the receptionist to finish each of us.  They also completely forgot that I wanted a manicure and the receptionist said she could do it if I still wanted it.  No thanks.  Horrible experience and will not be back.  Too many other great options in the area. Not at all satisfied. My tech, Tina, got up several times without saying a word to me. Midway she switched powders and complained to another person, who I'm not even sure if he worked there, about the quality of the powder. She set the uv lamp on top of my newly polished nails and certainly didn't bat an eye at the damage.  They are uneven and look haphazardly done with huge dents. On top of everything,  she took an hour and a half to do the whole process, just to have thin, dented nails with zero apex .... I go here all time. Most of the time it's a hit or miss. I went about 3 weeks ago and got my nails done for my wedding. Perfect nails. Got the nexgen nails. I've been doing it for awhile now and I can get then to last almost 3 weeks. This time totally sucks. I've never been so pissed. Her name is Paula. She cut my cuticles one 4 diff fingers. And filed so hard she burned my knuckle. I can't remember how many times I said ouch and pulled away. The file got hot a burned my finger tip. Then she proceed to dip my short nails in the nexgen powder. I asked. Arnt you gonna put the tips on? And she said oh and started to remove the powder. I've never been so highly irritated while getting my nails done. And plus I was with my mom and they tried to separate us. They started putting people next to me and they were like not enough room. Ok well I was here first. And now. Seriously. My mom is done with her manicure and Paula is just starting my nails. So my mom left shortly. Highly annoying appointment. And to say the least. I've walked in twice now without appointments. Both times only waited about 5-10 minutes. Nice relaxing place for mani-pedis. Efficient and nice work too. Love the plastic liners in the tubs. This last time I had hot wax (oh it felt sooo good) and fresh orange juice squeezed on my legs was really nice.  My feet were in horrible shape and when I left they were silky soft. Read Less

Beautiful interior. Came in for pedicure and removal of my nexgen nails. Short and simple experience. For once I didn't get skimped on the pedicure like I do most places. This was my 3rd visit here and I have been disappointed each time.  I went in Thursday 10/23 and had a full set of eyelashes put on and also a pedicure and gel manicure.  When I got home that evening, I noticed a chip/smudge on the very front of one of my toe nails.  I sat in the chair after the pedicure for quit a while plus I wore flip flops home.  I can also see around the sides on my toe nails that the paint isn't very even, just seems like a crummy job.  My nails are okay, except I have had SO MANY hangnails and cuticle skin pieces peeling up like crazy all weekend.  And the worst part, I spend so much some on the eyelashes and SO MANY have fallen out in just the first 3-5 days.  I don't wear make up so there is no wear/tear on my end.  I am very careful with them and have had them before (from other places) and am disappointed.  I don't think I will return. Best nail salon I have been to in a long time! Standard pedi is only 27 dollars which is a few dollars cheaper than other salons around. This place is AWESOME! Really nice technicians--professional attitude, clean work, and dressed  appropriately. There are something like 30 pedi stations and 20 or so mani stations. The prices are very good and all the pedicures come with at least a 10 minute massage. I've never had an issue with being short changed on the massage time. I have only had one bad experience and it was all my fault because i picked a weird color mix--anyway, the next day I was unhappy with my choice and I went in and my nail tech took all the shellac off and redid it for free--awesome!There is complementary wine and margaritas. Their website has lots of coupons and right now I think they are still running their 20% off everything sale. I get my brows done here too and always get complements. Love this place!
