Started originally getting No chip Manicures and they were not lasting. So the place I was going to suggested I get Gel Pink & white. I wish I had pics of the Horrible job he did. I never went back there. We have sinced moved to Dundee. In an attempt to find a new place I tried a couple in the area for just fixes or re polish. Then after our move was finished I found Nail Trend 2! The BEST JOB ANYONE HAS DONE! She did exactly as I asked. I left there looking at my nails not finding a single thing wrong with them. Really disappointed because this used to be my go-to nail place. They really need to make customer service a priority, bc it sucks. I had to tell the lady doing my nails that she was hurting me THREE times. The last time I wasn't so nice about it. Maybe she didn't speak English, but I feel that it's key to understand what your customers want from you. WORST PLACE EVER!!! I went in to get a gel manicure and pedicure - all was going well until the manicurist dropped the whole bottle of gel polish into my brand new shoes.   She immediately started wiping the floors and équipement FIRST! leaving the polish to harden on my shoes- she proceeded to use acetone and alcohol to clean my leather sandals only after I called it to her attention.  The alcohol/acetone liquid ultimately stained my new sandals along with the polish that could not be removed. I remained calm in asking what could they do to remedy this situation and 6 employees surrounded me saying I was lying that there was nothing wrong with my sandals! Accidents happen - I get it, however the harrassment I experienced when I made them aware that my shoes were ruined was utterly appalling. They took no accountability for the mistake. They all started denying that it ever happened. They said there was no way I could have seen what happened from where I was sitting- are you kidding me?  My sandals were right next to me the whole time. They then asked how much my shoes cost so I told them they were $50 sandals (which I purchased a week earlier) and they proceeded to say that my sandals didn't cost that amount.   They offered to replace my sandals ONLY IF I LEFT THEM AT THE SALON AND WALKED OUT BATEFOOT!  Oh wait, they said I could take paper flip flops home after I told them how ridiculous their suggestion was. Not to mention they made this huge commotion in front of other customers in attempt to humiliate me.  My only time this week to relax was ruined & turned into this disgusting experience.  This is the 3rd time they failed me. My first visit they spilled paraffin wax on my clothing- which I let go and didn't say a word while they didn't do a thing to clean it up. The second time I got a blister from the pedicure- I figured the 3rd time might be better and it definitely was not! This salon used to be a great place but service has gone downhill. I've gone here for a couple years and it's been my favorite until recently. My last couple trips haven't been up to par but today was definitely my last time going here. I could have done this pedicure and manicure myself. The shape is terrible and uneven, and so is the polish. Sprayed alcohol on my hands which dried out my skin. Even drew blood on one finger. Staff wasn't friendly, and atmosphere wasn't comfortable. No massage after. Really sad to post a bad review here but it just isn't the same. Even though the prices are good there are other places that are better quality for the same price. Cute little nail place with super reasonable prices. My friend and I both got NexGen nails with tips and paid $35 + tip each. There were a couple of downsides. There are no nail tables next to each other so if you come with a friend you can't really chat or anything. Most of the ladies seemed friendly and professional. My friend's manicurist did a great job on her nails and carried on a small, pleasant conversation. My technician was very shy and didn't say much. (Which was not a huge issue just a little disappointing since I was across the room from the person I'd planned on talking to.) she also did not do a great job on my nails. The shape and thickness of my nails are great but she didn't drill out from underneath them so there was a bunch of acrylic and dried NexGen under there. Luckily I was able to get it out with a nail file at home because she had already moved on without saying, you know, "bye" or "have a nice day" by the time I noticed it. I'm not the speaking up type so I still tipped her pretty well and left without saying anything. Overall a nice experience, our NexGen service also included a shoulder rub and paraffin wax. I'll definitely be back, although I plan on asking for the woman who worked on my friend today! Read Less

This place deserves more than a 5 star review. I've always had trouble with nail places, but not this one. They remember your name, give you a free massage at the end when your feet or nails are drying, and the prices are incredible. I love these ladies and this nail salon!! Read Less

I have been getting my nails done at Nail Trend for years. The service is magnificent both businesses are ALWAYS clean and welcoming! And did I mention ready to SERVE and FAST!!! Weather you are dropping in for some R&R, getting ready for a special occasion or trying something new they are there to help and they will never let you leave disappointed.... I had the bulk of the women in my family at #2 location today and only 1 of us had an appointment we were all greeted like family! I had the worst pedicure ever here.  They never asked which one pedicure I wanted. They rushed through the pedicure and my toenail polish looked so sloppy.  By the next day the polish on the ends had started wearing off.  The entire experience start to finish lasted about 35 minutes. There was nothing relaxing or luxurious about the experience.  Yes they are cheaper (only by dollars) than the other local salons.  It's very apparent why!  The salon didn't feel clean and they still have up Christmas decorations....in April!  Overall it just felt like a yucky experience. Love this place. I've been coming here every 3 weeks for a few months now and I'm so pleased! I get pedicures and Next Gen/ANC nails done. Julie does excellent work on nails. Everyone is very nice. Pedicures are well done, too. You get offered water, wine or soda when you start. I've been to quite a few places in Allen/Fairview/McKinney and this by FAR is my favorite! Read Less

I have been here twice and absolutely love it! Ann gives THE BEST PEDICURE I have ever had in my life! Be sure to get the expensive one! They use oranges, stones, paraffin wax and lots of good foot rubbings! You won't regret it! As far as my fingernails and manicures, all the girls seem to be excellent. Just love Ann for the pedi's! Just had a gel manicure and regular polish pedicure and enjoyed it thoroughly. I was surprised to see how busy they were on a Sunday afternoon, but there wasn't any waiting. My friend and I had made appointments, so there was no delay. They were very efficient, friendly and thorough. This nails shop in Allen ,  is a must try. I swear , their service is great ,   I went there at 9:00 am without an appointment but still they able to accommodate me pretty well. These girls are awesome, they do a great job in nails. I was able to talked with tammy,who assisted me that day in doing my french nail manicure theyve been into industry for several years Now so I would say they are def  nail experts.  Another thing i like is they also offer a back  massage while your drying up your nails which is relaxing to me and I think to some people who really wanna be pampered .  My advise though  is to always book an appointment there ahead of time  cos they are very packed especially on weekends .Walk in  maybe fine on weekdays, I think  or  if you just live next door like me hehehehe .
