I was referred to this establishment thinking that I would receive the same customer satisfaction, but that was not the case. The nail technician was a sweet lady, but I was not impressed with her work. While my boyfriend gave the nail technician his card I requested for a redo, but the owner began to raise an issue with my request. First, the owner said I'd be charged for the original service and the redo... I agreed. Secondly, the owner immediately changed her mind and said no we will not redo your nails, they look fine. Thirdly, the manager began to yell unprofessional remarks towards my boyfriend and I as she walked to the back of the store. At that point my boyfriend had to request for his card back with the receipt. I was honestly confused over the whole situation and was indeedly surprised by the owner's defensive character. My experience was just weird. As far as the person who referred me (a regular)... they were shocked and disgusted by the treatment I had received from the owner and will not be returning. To be completely honest I should have known that things were a bit off when: 1.) I saw that my technician clearly had a cold or the flu... (I kept quiet). 2.) My technician did not have the proper nail supply tools or proper sanitation... (I kept quiet). 3.) When the technician did not know the difference between ballerina/coffin and almond... People are working in this place as I know they are trying all their best everyday to service all clients came there to happy! but I believe sometime still has someone out there were not appreciated those best serviced they got because they got hired by other salon to make more troubles for this salon by between business owners competition....! Being a human is jealousy is a bad problem to make people are want to harm others. Someone is hard to accept other is better than he or she, so they are easy to make many problems to pull 5 stars rating down to 1 star to make all clients come this place later no more believe this place services they have. In another reason, I’m totally so understanding for the headaches of all nail salons have to deal sometime with cheap customers are so picky and always ask for the best products, the best services but don’t want to pay right prices or just want for free all services for everything they get.....!!!!! I am SO confused by all the excellent ratings here. I’m guessing that nexgen is what they have going for them, but other than that I just don’t see the appeal. I came in for just a basic manicure so maybe I just didn’t spend enough for good service, idk. The decor is severely outdated, which wouldn’t be a problem except that it appeared it hadn’t been dusted since they opened. I wasn’t offered a drink, but asked for a glass of wine. When the tech came back with it I could see her wiping the rim of the cup off to clean it I guess with her bare hands. WHAT?! Who does that? The cup was visibly dirty and looked like it had been sitting collecting dust for a while and there were dust particles in my drink. She continued on with the manicure and when it was time for cuticle care she barely touched them, not exaggerating in the least. They weren’t pushed back at all and barely anything was clipped, resulting in uneven nail beds. The paint job was a joke. I could’ve sat in my car and done a better job. What? A complaint about the price you paid for acrylic gel??? Are you serious?? I have never experienced a problem with the price I would be required to pay for services at I LOVE NAILS. Actually, the services I receive at I LOVE NAILS, is worth MORE than I pay. The prices are very reasonable, and my favorite nails techs, Jon and Le, are the BEST. They are courteous, kind, respectful and maintain a very relaxed atmosphere. I suspect that some people come in to use their services, and then don't want to pay (such as the person who previously posted a complaint about the price). After all, $32 dollars for the gel acrylic nails (which consists of the gel color) is not a bad price at all. Maybe some people need to be more specific about what they want, and not try to get something for free. Nice setting work was great but they were not clear on the price when I called and asked the price for gel acrylic fill they told me 17 dollars witch was okay then after you've done the fill they tell me it's 32 dollars I was not aware that the pink power they use for fills is $17 by itself then it's addisonal $15 for the gel color if I would have known that a head of time I would've waiting to have my nails done. Pedicure was good, but I might not go back for Nexgen. The gentleman who did mine didn't ask length or shape, just did whatever he wanted. They look pretty good head-on, but several of them are a thick lumpy mess from the side, and different angles. I did like their color selection, particularly the ombre colors. I love the cleanliness and organization of this Salon. I always get perfect personal service. I never have to wait and they are efficient and thorough. I love the way the do my brows and pedicures.
