I went in to get my eyebrows done and just needed them cleaned up. The technician proceeded to THIN them out and even made them uneven. One eyebrow was thinner than the other and my center is completely unaligned. Also one eyebrow is longer than the other. DONT have people do eyebrows if the SUCK at it. THANKS. Wont come here again. Horrible work. It took 2 hrs to get a fill because the woman doing was trying to figure it out as she went. The first tip popped off within 12 hours, completely painless- didn't even notice it had happened. Second tip popped off within 24 hours. Third popped off the next day, had to go to a qualified salon and have them all redone. I thought the reason there where always cars parked was because they were good. Turned out it's because the salon is really small and it takes forever to get out of there. And then you have to come back twice a day for repairs. Read Less

Well as usual the owner of the place, don't know her name and after what happened today I really don't care, was combative. Anytime you try to tell her what you want, her answer is,"I am not there yet!" or "I know, I always do for you!" Well today was the day that I could NO longer keep quiet. When she put the oil on my nail and asked me to wash my hands, I looked down at my nails and I did NOT like the shape of them, so I politely asked her if she could please square them out just a tiny bit. When I say a tiny bit I mean it would have taken her 10 or less seconds per nail. He response was "it's too late". She told me that I had to wait until next time. I said okay and headed over to wash my hands. Half way there I thought, no, I am paying for this and I want her to fix them the way I want. So I head back to the table and ask her one more time to please fix them. I explained to her that everytime I try and tell her what I want, she rudely cuts me off and tells me she knows so I didn't say anything to her. Now I did ask her to leave my nails round the 1st time I came to her shop, but at this point this is my 4-5 time. I came in with them squared, I have gotten them squared the last few times I had been in there, so why did she make them rounder. She said, "I am done...I fixed the nail and you didn't like it so now you have to wait until next time to change it". I am like whoa whoa whoa whoa! I am paying for a service and tipping you WELL I might add (35%) and if you didn't know how I like my nails or are unsure of how I like my nails you should ask me or LISTEN to me when I talk to you about what I would like. So she pretty much REFUSED to fix my nails. I literally had to get the nail file MYSELF and fix it. I then ask her for a buffer. She says," what do you want!!" VERY RUDELY. I explained to her that I needed the buffer to soften the edges. Now we move on to the polish. She begins to polish my nails...in a dead silence. I was looking at my nails on the one hand as she polished the other hand. I noticed a small crack in my thumb nail, so I asked her, " is this a crack?" Again her responds is in a rude and snippy tone and she says," what do you want now?!?" I asked her again to please look at my nail to see if it's a crack. She says,"'you just asked me for a buffer now you want me to look to see if there is a crack?" Then I couldn't believe what she told me next!! She said," if it is a crack I am not going to fix it because I am already done with that step." My eyeballs almost popped out of my head when I heard her say that. I said what to you mean you won't fix it because you are already done with that step? I am sitting in your am chair to get a fill. If you would have looked at my nails closely while you were "doing that step" then you would have seen it and fixed it. I explained to her that I hadn't got up out of her chair or left the shop, so I should be able to get it at least looked at. So after all of that she STILL refused to look at it. I told her to please just finish polishing my nails so that I could get out of there ASAP!!! So as she starts on the other hand, I am looking up at the tv to try and clam down, but I happen to glance down at the hand she is currently working on and notice there is a big line scratched through the nail she just finished. So I pointed do to the nail with my other hand that was across the table (on my side) and showed her the nail. She has the odacity to tell me that I did it!!! I said are you crazy??!! You are holding my hand right now and just finished that nail, my other hand was NO WHERE NEAR THAR FINGER!!! She was sticking to her story. There were a few more things that happened but this is where I will end this story. I think enough has been said at this point. So I Told her that she needs to LISTEN to her clients wants and needs EVERYTIME!!! TDon't cut them off...JUST LISTEN. I came in here today as a walk in, no wait time and there were other customers there. This is a customer service based salon. They were wonderful! Scott did my nails and Kimmy did my toes. Both did awesome. Kimmy didn't rush through my food rub and it was awesome! Scott did a fantastic job on my nails. He took his time and did not rush and this is by far the best customer service I have received in a local salon. They had a TON of Nextgen colors. More than I have ever seen. I narrowed it down to 4 and let him pick because I liked them all lol. Their personalities were fun and they actually spoke to me and their English is fantastic! Waited 30+ minutes to be seated with a nail tech then waited another 15 before application even started. Took the nail tech over an hour and fifteen minutes just to apply acrylics. I let the tech know ahead of time about a sensitive cuticle on one finger so they could avoid cutting me yet the nail tech did not heed my advice and I ended up bleeding. It's been four days since I went in and all but three of my acrylics have lifted from the nail bed and broken off. I typically go no less than two weeks between nail appointments so I'm pretty disappointed to be spending both the time and money to go to another shop I trust to provide a service/product that will actually last just four days after my last application. When I walked in I was not greeted, but I know what to do. Pick a color and wait. After about 10 minutes I asked about the wait and was told that it'll be a couple of minutes, some lady prances right in and sits down and man from the back comes and does her nails maybe she had an appt. 3 girls leave and I'm still sitting there for another 2 of the ladies aren't doing anything except folding towels. Came in on a Sunday, about 3 techs available and 2 customers be taken care of. They said hi to me told them would like a full set, was told to select my color and then waited to be seated which never was. One tech sat in a chair reading a magazine and the other took off, never was told I would be next or how long it would take, after 20 mins finally decided to get up and leave. Not helpful one bit. I went and got a new full set of the solar nails. I was going to get the cheaper nails but the technician convinced me to get the more expensive set, which was double the price almost. So I agree, I don't treat myself often but I wanted my nails to look nice. She assured me the set would last for a month. I asked her multiple times and she said they would definitely last a month. I didn't love my nails but they looked better than they did when i went in. So I paid and left a tip. Within 1 week 2 nails had popped off. Within 2 weeks all but one of the nails had popped off. They didn't break, they just popped off. I called but the lady I spoke to said I needed to come in at 4 that day. I didn't get off work until 4 so that was impossible. I will never use this nail salon again. I'll go elsewhere...heck there are 2 other options within walking distance. Read Less

I love this nail salon and I have come about every two weeks for over four years.   Very friendly and welcoming crew.  I always have Scott do my nails (he is one of the owners) and Kimmy for a pedicure.  But everyone is great. Their English is great which means you can communicate your preferences very easily.   I have seen other comments about cuticles.  Just let them know and they will not cut them.  I have Kimmy not cut the sides of my big toenails and I never even have to remind her.  She gives a wonderful massage.  Scott is really patient and wants to make sure you are happy.  Once I messed up the nails that he had just painted and he happily redid them.  This place is professional, Clean and very courteous.  Prices cannot be beat elsewhere! Terrible customer service. I went in for a mani/pedi & was told it'd be 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, I was directed to a chair and sat there, with my feet in the water, for 40 minutes! Meanwhile, they took 3 people before me...and no, they didn't have an appointment. I pointed out to one worker that I had been sitting for almost an hour & how much longer? She pointed at another worker. A woman came over and verified my color choices, then preceeded to go do a wax...that had just walked in the door. That was it, I left. I'm quite a fan of this place. There are three nail salons in viewing distance of each other in this area, and this is the one we randomly stumbled into. It did not disappoint. The venue appeared clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and I was satisfied overall with the quality of my pedicure. My friend and I only had a standard pedicure, which was also moderately priced, but there is a full list of available services. Actually, my friend got her eyebrows waxed and was pleased with the outcome. The building is located within a strip mall, so parking was plentiful right near the entrance. If we are ever in this area again, I would certainly consider coming back to this location. For a Dallas nail salon, the pricing was quite reasonable. Read Less

I was a bit hesitant to come here, since my manicurist is so amazing at Luxury Nail Spa. I was leaving Target and needed my nails done extremely bad...it was gruesome. Kim, the owner was extremely friendly and made my speedy nail time, pleasant. The price was great and the service was the same. She had done my nails very nicely, still doesn't beat my main man-manicurist, but again, for the price it was good. I decided to go back for another nail appointment and this time I had Julie, which she is absolutely amazing. Third times the charm?! Not so much, Kim had done my nails since Julie was a bit tied up at the moment and I wasn't pleased like before. Which is a total bummer, I was beginning to enjoy cheap, yet nice looking nails.Which leads to my next nail adventure.
