I do not recommend Solar Nails over by Walmart on Hwy 351 in Abilene, Tx!!! The guy started out doing my nails. I picked a deluxe pedicure. I never get to do anything for myself and hubby sent me to go get my toes and nails done. The pedicure was supposed to include hot towels and lotioned leg massage. He did not do either. He did get 1 warm towel and throw it on my legs, then walked off. I asked him about the lotion and towels and he said we were past that already and it was time to move on. I'm seriously not a confrontational person until I feel disrespected. There is a communication boundary with the different languages and all, so I just let it go thinking maybe he didn't understand what I was getting at. Then he threw a fit when I showed him the design I wanted on my nails. He said he wasn't going to do that flower, even though the lady said it wouldn't be a problem when I asked her. I didn't say anything. I probably looked stupid, but I was just sitting there speechless wondering how I was going to handle the situation. He started to paint all nails pink and so I (still not understanding why he was acting this way) respectfully asked him if he was going to be able to do a design. He got up and said I'm too picky. Then got the lady to come over. This is were I got a little shakey. I want sure if this guy was having a bad day or If I really was being too picky. The lady comes over and doesn't touch base with me to see what I want or anything. Just continues to paint them all pink. I showed her the design I was wanting and she says that It'll be extra and that she can't do that specific flower and gave me a sample pallet to pick a flower from. I picked a little Hawaiian flower from it. I said thank you and was ignored. Then she did the design upside down, and I still did not say anything. I figured that if it ended up looking good, I didn't care which way it faced. Below is a picture of the flower she gave me. It was terrible and not the least bit professional. I asked her if she could just paint them all normally because the flower looked bad. Let me also clarify that I was headed to a get-together or I would have just went home and painted them. I asked her how much for just the pedicure and no design, then she flipped out. She yelled in my face that I was too picky. The man got up and yelled that I was too picky along with some ugly words. That's when I turned the video on. I did it because at this point, the man scared me. The lady took all the polish off and told me to leave. I told her I still wanted my nails done and she insisted that I still leave. The pictures are of the design I wanted, the design I was given, and the video is of after they told me to leave. Afterwards my hubby called and asked what the problem was and the man said they don't work on picky people and they have right to say leave. My hubby went into why it was unprofessional and that they should have never okayed the design in the first place. Eventually my hubby was hung up on as well as cussed at. Also, I had the video zoomed in because I was initially trying to take a video of my toes and record the ugly words the man was saying. I did not stick my phone in the ladies face. Read Less
