My friend and I went for basic pedicures on October 2nd. When picking out Nail polish at the front a lday offered to upgrade to Shellac pedicures. My friend and I both asked how much. The lady clearly said '$27.? I then repeated back to the lady, ok '27." We took a seat and they started the process. At the end we went to pay and they rang up each pedicure for $47!!!!!!!! I thought there was a mistake, since my friend got a manicure and pedicure. The gentlemen ringing us up to...ld us no shellac pedicures are $47!!!!! He then stated 'I told you whenever you walked in that shellac was $20 more.? My friend pointed out 'you were not the one who even quoted us!"The women and man then took a menu with printed prices on it and showed us the pricing. (This was a different menu than what they originally showed us!) I told them a that menu would have been nice to look at before we even sat down!!!!I told them I would have never agreed to pay almost $50 pedicure. Absolutely ridiculous!!! After several minutes of arguing we paid, left and will never be back. Whenever I went to my car I looked up Yelp, google and facebook reviews for the establishment and there have been many many more with similar experiences. I also saw the establishment had a complaint not to long ago for filth. They were fined because they could not show proof of properly regulating cleanliness and sanitation. Very disappointed in the experience I had today. My friend and I came in and wanted the basic pedicure package with gel and we were quoted $27 dollars... they even pointed at the picture. We repeated back $27 and the response was yes. I was already disappointed because even on my basic manicure I still left with untrimmed cuticles and they weren't even pushed back. They literally just painted and filed my nails. My pedicure was short and my feet didn't get hardly any love. They look the same as they did when I came in.  We go to check out are charged $47 for the pedicures!! We tried to discuss the issue with the manager and he only repeated that the gel was $20 more... even as we repeated that we were quoted differently... even it was $47... It wasn't worth $47. Not the worst and not the best. I found this place only after relaxing my regular place was closed. The environment was nice but I got a manicure and a pedicure and I left with uneven nails and smudges. I spent $45 on a deluxe pedicure (average price) and $40 for a dip French manicure. I wish there was an option to give this place 0 stars. My co workers and I were treated to pedicures my another employer. They called in advance and told them how many people we had coming. They were obviously not prepared for approximately 15 people and had maybe 3-5 techs working. They sped through the pedicures. Each one of ours took MAYBE 15 minutes and during mine, the lady took a HUGE chunk out of my toe. This was in march and it is now almost July and I still have a bad scar from it. Nothing special. Asked for military discount and the lady said could only give discount on 1. I paid for 4 pedicures and 3 out of 4 had id cards. The lady didnt know because she didnt ask. If there was an option for zero stars I'd give it to this place. I came in with my service animal to get a pedicure and was turned away, saying they don't allow "pets". He is a SERVICE ANIMAL. I enjoyed my experience at this salon very much! I chose it based on reviews and experiences of friends. On a Monday afternoon the salon was quiet and there was no wait for service. I enjoyed a relaxing pedicure and manicure from two polite and friendly technicians. I chose shellac for my manicure and standard polish for my toes. After a couple of days, I am happy to report that no chipping has taken place. The prices were fair and I was pleasantly surprised that they even offered a 10% military discount. I used to enjoy going to to this place, but my most recent experience was terrible. The female and male pair teamed up to do my manicure and pedicure concurrently. The quality of both services was subpar, and the rudeness displayed throughout the manicure by the male employee was made something that should be an enjoyable experience make me want to exit the spa as soon as possible. Buyer beware! Ladies (and gentlemen), don't waste your money or your time on this place. I went here once after I had just moved to Abilene and didn't know of a good salon for a standard mani/pedi. Let me tell you -- once was enough!I was seated pretty promptly, but nearly everyone who came in after me ended up being sat and waiting/soaking for 30 minutes to an hour before being seen. The woman who worked on me didn't speak English well and didn't seem well-trained. She cut my fingers when trimming the cuticle and then proceeded to file my nails practically to a point even after I showed her a photo of my usual shape. I finally asked for a file and fixed them myself. Even still, the basic mani/pedi looked awful, and I would have been better off doing them myself at home. What was worse was the sleezy male employee who worked on the poor girl seated next to me. He spent the entire time blatantly hitting on her, and while she was clearly uncomfortable, I overheard her telling her friend she was afraid to report him to a manager for fear of waiting another hour for a new nail technician. Under construction currently. They did SUCH a good job and are excellent at providing personalized service. TONS of nail designs and they really pay attention to detail and make sure you're satisfied. The guys are hilarious and relatable. If they are busy I suggest calling ahead or waiting. There violation was for not keeping records of the cleaning of the foot spas they utilize. Just got my nails done here, I just needed shellac. The nail technician hurt me, redid my nails like three times because he kept messing up and blamed it on the color. I got a new color and he still kept messing up. 45 minutes in to a simple shellac they gave me a new technician and she did a rush finish leaving multiple places unpainted and my hands looking junky. When I went up to pay, after an hour of uncomfortable waiting, the lady charged me 35 dollars. So here I am an hour later trying to file the rough edges of my nails smooth and picking out the cotton ball fluff still stuck to my fingers. Read Less

DO NOT GO HERE. I've been to this place and they were always friendly and okay. But I've just had the worst nail experience of my entire life. They didn't have half the colors displayed so I didn't get the color I wanted,  they guy was rude as shit, he took an HOUR to do shellac, I had to change colors and start over half way through because "the color is bad" and it still looks like shit. She blamed my harassment on cultural differences and said that they don't speak good English so I must have miss understood my harassment, though there was inappropriate physical contact. Kevin is the BEST!!! Everyone is really friendly and they do a great job!  It's not crowded or hard to get to like places in malls.  They are really concerned with making you comfortable.  This was the best money I've ever spent on a pedicure!!  Get the signature spa pedicure, it is wonderful! This place is the place to go for good customer service and also for a great job on nails and toes! they are very welcoming! this is the only place I will go! Terrible!!! We were greeted when walking in and I was told to pick out my polish for my pedi. The polish selection is not good, wouldn't even call it a selection. I sat down to semi-warm water and had to ask them to make it warmer. Part of the pedi bowl kept coming off in the water, and after several attempts to stay attached the tech grabbed the same part from another bowl not being used. I asked for the pedi a step up from the classic because I really wanted a good scrub on my feet. However, she was so interested in paying attention to the tv behind me that she barely filed and scrubbed the bottom of my feet. If I could give negative stars I would. Highly disappointed! I love this salon. I don't go anywhere else. The atmosphere takes you out of Abilene for a moment. Sunny & Henry do great manicures, acrylics, and pedicures, always offer wine or water at no charge & never mind chit chatting w/ their customers. I recommend the stone massage pedicures, as long as the rocks are hot enough you feel heavenly after. If you need waxing done this is also a great place to check out. Best place in Abilene to get your nails whipped. Never crowded. Clean. They take their time and do a great job. The pedicure menu has 5 options, increasing in price as you get more fun stuff done to your feet. I always get the #5 because my feet are fabulous.
