2 out of 3 pedicures bad. Not a good percentage. I so much want to like this place bc of location, availability, manager (she seems nice). But zero consistency. And why does it seem like good ideal to rub as hard as they can on ur shin bone, ankle bone, instead of ur feet!! Isn’t a pedicure & massage supposed to address ur soft tissue. I have had both good and bad experiences at Castle Nails but more bad than good so I have decided to go elsewhere from now on. It really depends on the technician.  Several times I've left with my cuticles bleeding and sore for days afterward.  I would swear I would never go back but then I'd end up right back there because it was convenient, etc. The last straw was when I was getting a dip.  The lady spoke very little English so communication was definitely a problem.  I had wanted the shellac but she didn't understand and started using the dip powder so I had to just go with it.  My nails looked lumpy and uneven but I kept thinking the lady was going to fix it because she kept layering.  Nope, it just got worse. The skin around my nails was literally stuck to my nails.  They were all uneven lengths and there were visible lumps everywhere.  The lady actually asked me if I like my nails and if I wanted a massage?!?!?.  I said absolutely not! I showed her my nails were uneven, lumpy, and my cuticles were bleeding.  She just kept saying, "I fix." She started trying to file my nails but she was filing the skin next to my nails because it was like glued together.  She got the Dremel type tool and took off the top layer of my nail and it felt like my finger nail was burning.  My fingers were already getting sore so I told her to stop.  She called the owner over and they spoke about it (not in English of course so I have no idea what was said).  The owner was very nice and said she would personally fix it. I said no because I had to leave plus my fingers were already bleeding and sore. She told me to come back and she would redo my nails. I wasn't going to ever go back but the next week my nails were in such awful condition and driving me crazy.  I had to pull my skin apart from the sides of my nails if that makes sense.  I actually did go back a few days later and let the owner completely redo my nails.  She did a good job and I have no complaints other than you'd think she would have offered a discount or something....but nope...I learned a very expensive lesson.  And no, I have not and will not go back. Me and 3 other family members walked up at 5:30 and they happily greeted and welcomed us in, even though they were closed. We chose the deluxe pedicure for $35, which is only supposed to give you a 7 minute massage, but they gave us excellent service. They massaged out legs and feet for at least 15-20 minutes and took their time taking care of us and doing our nails. I highly recommend this place. Read Less

This was not a good experience for me. When the technician was done and I looked at my nails, it reminded me of coloring outside of the lines like when your in Kindergarten. I was so not pleased and couldn't believe after he was done and looked at my nails, thought that was satisfactory. He even told me the color was a challenge. Despite my better judgement I went back to this nail salon after not receiving the service I asked for. Instead of going across town to my preferred salon I figured let's give them another try. Bad decision...I asked for coffin shaped nails with a natural looking color. I even had a picture of what I wanted. Well I guess that wasn't good enough because the nail tech did what he wanted and I HATE my nails! The owner stated the color had streaks because it was a light color. Common sense told me different. He was applying too much polish. Needless to say, I didn't get the $5 off promised by the owner but did get a color change that looks like goop. Lesson learned....never going back to this nail salon. The pedicure(65$) was good. My feet feel great, got my.legs and shoulders massaged. I chopped my toes nails really short before I went, so I am unsure how they would have turned out. My finger nails were nice and long, maybe about 3/16 of an inch long. Told em I wanted a mani and he proceeded to chop it semi-straight with the nail clippers then ask if that was okay. Shouldn't you ask befote you chop it? Had to chop the rest of em, bad thing is he didn't even get them straight when shaping them!Read Less

I had an amazing experience here. I was visiting and found this place on Google. I splurged on a hot stone manicure but the neck and hand massages included made it well worth it. Today was my first visit to Castle Nails & Spa and I was very impressed. I showed up at 5:25 and was seated immediately. I was worked on by Henry who did such a wonderful job on removing my old set of nails without any pain and doing exactly what I asked for in gel nails. The price was very agreeable and honestly a steal for the quality of service I received today. Feeling confident I decided to go for a wax and was helped by Jenni. She did a great job and I'm definitely going back to both for future service. Oh and did I mention there is wine and margaritas!?! Don't hesitate to go in! I came here on a saturday. I understand nail places are busy on the weekend, but I think if a place is too busy to accommodate someone they should send you are your merry little way. I got here and sat next to my sister in law who was already getting her nails done. About half way through her nail experience I asked if I was going to be helped. They said yes. It took about 45 minutes to finally get helped. I would have been fine if they had said that up front, they just kinda strung me along and told me, "just one more minute" a bunch of times. The guy who did my nails was in a rush and did a not 100% job. I asked for a natural color and he did white. Like white typing paper. They also messed up my sisters nails. She has gotten that color a handful of times and the color she asked for was not what got put onto her nails. I am sure that they have the capability to do an amazing job, I just sadly didn't get it. Huge Salon but with a small salon attitude giving great customer service. Took my daughter in law for a treat while visiting and what a treat it was. Any place that offers free wine or Margaritas with your nail service is going to get my attention. We had Kim and Tim as our technicians and they did a great job of our mani pedis. At first when we set done for our pedicures they asked what we wanted to drink...umm Margaritas...yes please! Then we talked and waited at little longer than I would like and the water got a little cool, but the came and fixed it and got us going. Then over to cutie Keeli for my manicure! Worst pedi I have ever had "relaxing" music up way to loud, 3 kids running around acting foolish I'm guessing the we're the owners kids by the way they acted. The water for my pedi was cold and the girl doing my pedi stopped to have multiple conversations with many employees who were laying around in chairs in the corner they put us in and my feet and toes look worse than they did when I went in castle nails and spa.
