I have never had such a rude nail technician. The African American woman was awful. She was on her phone cursing at the person on the other line while doing my nails. She had a Bluetooth headset. If I could leave a zero, I would. I have never been treated so rudely by a nail tech in my life. The African American lady in there was so ugly to me. She said I was being rude for asking for the water to be warm and for asking for a specific nail color. I asked for a discount for being treated that way and they refused. The only thing she said to me the whole time was that my hands were dry and she would bark and order me to move my hand here and there. I went Friday to get acrylics nails done on my lunch break, HUGE MISTAKE! I'm only giving them one star bc I have to go write the review! The man who did my nails wouldn't put acrylics on instead he insisted on dipped nails. That part didn't bother me but he filed my fingers too hard and cut the skin on one whole hand! I'm a server and it's been excruciatingly painful having to touch lemons and limes all weekend! To top it off, he did a very poor job painting my nails. To add insult to injury I went back yesterday on break to show them my nails. The lady who saw them and talked to me said all she could do for me was to "give me Vaseline and bandages". Really??? I told them I will never ever step foot in there again and give them one more penny of my money. She told me the man who did my nails left later that day for California and if I want to I can come back next week and talk to him! I will drive the thirty minutes from now on and pay less to see Nam at Nails and Tan I'm Lewisburg. Before I moved here he did my nails for five years and I have never had an experience like this with him!! I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy, what an expensive, overpriced joke. I usually don't do reviews, but in this case I will make an exception. I have been having my nails done for years and have never had a problem like this. The first time I went to this place I had a pedicure and the girl did a great job. Then I went about a week later and had new acrylic put on my fingers. When I went back in two weeks later and they took the polish off, there was fungus growing under two of my nails. When I complained about it the manager said, "why are you telling me?" I couldn't believe it. Then another nail tech asked me if I worked a lot in water. I said no. I was offended that they actually tried to blame this on me. The Nail Tech said she would fix it. I then went to another nail salon two weeks later, to find that I had fungus under even more of my nails. Obviously, Spring Hill nails did not seal the acrylic properly, allowing water to seep through underneath the acrylic and grow fungus. The new salon took off all of my acrylic and cleaned my nails. The spots from the Fungus are still growing out and it has been about six weeks. I feel that this is a health hazard and people should know about this. Read Less

I am sure there are techs that are professional at Spring Hill Nail Spa..BUT, the girl I had was terrible. I had a "simple pedicure", trust me, it was simple! She got up at least 4 times to greet and wait on other customers, when she came back, she forgot where she was on my pedicure. I also got a fill for my nails. If you're looking for great customer service and just an overall good not great quality experience DO NOT WASTE your money, time, or energy on this place. The customer service is very bad. I'd rather drive farther rather than give them one cent of my hard earned money. First time going and and it seems like a very laid back place. The lady I got did a great job. I let her know of any issues I was having with my toenails, and she took care of them just fine. She also kept checking with me to make sure I wasn't in any pain or anything. When I first walked in Spring Hill Nails Spa and looked around at the interior, I was skeptical. I've never had a better shellac manicure. These women pay such attention to detail. They cleaned my nails so well and did an amazing job in shaping them. They painted so closely to the edges of my nails. At the end they give you a great hand/arm massage. After working 4 12's I decided to treat myself to a pedicure.  I'm easy to please, just be professional and act like you care. My nail tech was joking with the other techs, never asked my name, or offered me something to drink. Massage was not a massage, paint was not even. I usually come over here on the weekends when it is really busy when I have a day off, just because of the convenient location. I usually only get pedicures, never my nails because nobody there has ever done good acrylic. I had a cold water pedicure about two weeks ago here as a matter of fact because the hot water "ran out". After swearing I wouldn't go back today I needed a acrylic full set and was short on time, a man named TONY did my nails, and this was by far the BEST BEST BEST set of acrylic I've gotten in spring hill in 4 years. I recently completed the series of micro current facial treatments with Julia and I am amazed at the difference they have made for my skin. I didn't realize how effective they were until I compared the pictures from my first and eighth treatment. And after only a couple treatments, my friends started saying how good I was looking, not really knowing what was different. Now I'm having treatments about every three weeks to maintain the effect. Julia has just the right touch to perform this service, she knows what she is doing, she takes her time and is very thorough. Horrible customer service! I've been here on several occasions the first time was great, so I came back. The second time I needed a chin wax. The lady wanted me to lay on the table after a guy got up without changing the covering on the table. She then half waxed my chin and I had to have her redo it. When I gave her my card to pay, she charged me an extra $3 and when I said something about it she got an attitude with me. Today I needed a pedicure, so I decided to give them another shot. I should have went somewhere else! The lady that did my pedicure doesn't know how to polish at all. She left at least a quarter inch of nail on all toes with no polish on them. When I asked if she would fix it she polish all over my skin. It started getting busy in the shop so she started trying to rush me out of the chair. I told her that I still had polish all over my skin and she got a nasty attitude with me. I told her that I wasn't going to argue with her, but I wouldn't be paying for it either. One of the male technicians had to fix it. I will not spend another dime at this salon! Got a really nice set of matte black gel nails from here. The place opened at noon and was packed within 5 minutes - I'm talking every seat was taken and there were spill over in the waiting area. Felt a tad bit rushed, probably because there were so many people trying to get their nails done at once, but no one seemed to be waiting for too long. Walked in without appointment, no wait - which was nice. They filled the tub and prepped while I picked out polish.  Zero soak/relaxation time for my feet, they dipped them in the water and kept going. The whole thing was rushed, not at all relaxing. Also, would have been nice if they waited until they finished with my pedicure to start spraying the tub with sanitizer and wiping it down. Terrible. Thought I found my new nail place since it's right up the road, but I won't be going back. Went in for acrylics. The guy put them on in two seconds. Didn't ask what length I wanted before cutting. Didn't ask how I wanted them filed. I had three color options and he just started painting the one he thought looked best without asking if I decided on my color. Last, but not least... my nails were wonky. They were filed completely crooked and one of them had a crack in the side and he put me under the dryer and was sending me on my way. I showed another patron and she confirmed that they were bad and told me to say something. I told them I wasn't happy. He said he would fix them and I told him I just wanted them off. He cut my nails (which he was rough in doing) and they soaked and another lady redid them. He disappeared in the back for about 10 mins. Didn't say a word to me. The salon was great... Very professional, nice feel and experienced workers. My complaint is the temporary tips that I got. I wanted my nails done for my wedding shower. I went Thursday and my shower was Saturday. I spent my lunch hour on Friday getting 2 nails fixed because they were awful quality. There was no acrylic (powder) put on to hold the nail on. I could have bought the glue on nails myself from WAL mart and paid a LOT less. Do no get these. I am Now down to 5 nails and 2 of them were fixed WITH acrylic. Very disappointed. Read Less

My hubs and I went and got pedicures at Spring Hill Nail Spa and the experience was better than most in the area... but sorely lacking. We arrived on a Sunday to find two nail techs working on others, but they immediately sat us in a pedi chair to soak. We picked out our color and were offered a drink (we chose wine)... we got it about a half an hour later. Paul soaked for a little over an hour while I was pedicured. They have a menu of different types of pedis and I'd wanted to get the super deluxe (the best they had) kind... but I wasn't offered... fail.When I was done, she started on Paul... and by this time 2 more pedicure patrons had arrived and were also soaking. The other tech (who was doing nails) was still working on the same nails as when we came in. My hopes for getting a manicure were fading as they'd already told the two other women they'd be with them... and they'd each been soaking a good 1/2 hour. The pedicure itself was pretty average. No great cuticle cleaning, no great foot scrubbing, no great massage (and these are my main criteria). My polish was applied just fine but she didn't put my flip flops back on me, so I had to try and not bump my wet nails myself. Paul's was even less great, she spent about 25 minutes on him... and though they were nice and clean (but he has nice feet anyway), it really wasn't worth it. In total we spend $66, including tip for 2 pedis (I'm a good tipper, $5 each). While it's close to our home... I doubt I'll go back. Luxy nails is my favorite Spring Hill nail shop!
