Have to give a star to leave a review otherwise I would leave none. My daughter had her nails done here and they made her wait for an hour soaking her hands so they could take a walk-in. Her nails were done so thick and they trimmed them so short. The design looks like a child drew the lines. They look like nails a 6 yr old would be happy with not a 20 yr old. I called to complain and "no refunds" was what he could say. I went before one time and felt the same way. Polish job was hideous and they shuffled me around to accommodate walk-ins. Came in without and appointment and got sat immediately for my pedicure. While the guy who was going to do mine was finishing up with another customer, at least 3 people checked on me (which I never get anywhere else). I got the Sports Pedicure. The guy was very thorough with the entire thing. He did not leave one detail untouched. The exfoliation felt AMAZING, as did the massage. The place itself was very clean and nice looking. Definitely worth the drive. I live in Columbia, but I'd rather drive to come here over anywhere down there. Got me a nice massage chair, a cold water bottle, and an off-the-chain pedicure. I normally go to Nothing But Nails, but a friend had a gift card here so I joined her. The tech that did my pedicure was so rude to me. She was very annoyed the whole time, rolling eyes, sighing, pushing my feet and telling me I was doing it wrong. I get lots of pedicures, so putting your feet in and out of the bowl isn't that hard. Then when she was finished she was putting my flip flops on telling me to be still and to look the other way. Feeling a little CHIC and pampering to myself this early morning! I was in the area and needed a pedi and stumbled across this Venetian feel nail salon. Price is reasonable, cleanliness is a bonus and staff is really nice and great. The young lady that did my pedicure was very patient and made sure I got what I asked her to do. She made my toes look beautify lol I was very relaxed during my massage felt great! I would definitely recommend my friends here! Read Less

have to say i had higher expectations. we were greeted by a friendly man and sat almost immediately after being told to pick out polish colors. that's unfortunately where the pleasant experience ended. the station i sat down at had acrylic nail dust all over and the technician started working on my nails over a dirty towel with tools that had no evidence of being sterilized. the nail file and buffer she used was white with nail debris (yuck!) and very coarse. the skin around my nails was rough and broken in places from the dirty file. she never used a fine nail file to shape my nails or get rid of the rough edges so my manicure is uneven and looks messy. this nail salon doesn't appear to have very high sanitation standards with their tools or stations. heres hoping i don't end up with a nail fungus after this manicure. Went there Sunday 6/11 for pedicure and eyebrow wax. Sat with my feet in water for 20 minutes before someone started on my peficure. I had to say ouch twice during polish take off which should have been a sign. The guy who did my pedicure kept positioning my feet in such an uncomfortable manner, I believe he forgot they were attached to legs. He then put my flip flops on with no spacers which messed them up even more. The polish was all clumped on the toes. It looked horrible! I complained and the girl offered to repolish them, things were looking up but then I went in for my eyebrow wax, big mistake! The lady was talking and giggling with another staff member the whole time and suffice to say my right eyebrow is much thinner and a different shape then the left. When I saw them and questioned the tech just said "hurry she fix your polish" like she didn't hear me. The only saving Grace for this shop is the Latina girl Maria who works there, as she was the one that finished my polish at the end and was very pleasant this the one star! Read Less

I came in for a pedicure and they were quite busy. This was my first and last experience at this salon. The pedicure chair was broken so no massage for me. I sat in water for 40 minutes waiting for someone to be available to do my pedicure. Guy at the front desk, Johnny, has poor customer service skills. Was never offered anything to drink. Maria who actually did my pedicure was great. Johnny moved her to someone else so she could do another pedicure. He finished my topcoat. He made a mistake on my big toe polish so I had to wait for it to dry so he could apply another coat of polish to fix the mistake. He went back to the front of the salon and I think he forgot about me. I had to yell across the salon to get his attention to ask if I was done. Of course not. I actually did not plan on sitting at a salon for hours on end to be ignored by staff. He finished the polish and topcoat. When he asked about my experience I told him it was not good. All he offered was lip service about making it right. Poor salon experience. Don't waste your time or money here. Read Less

I had a really sweet lady who did a fantastic job on my toes. The only reason I'm rating 3 stars is because I had to wait 45 mins before getting my nails done, the water got cold and they had to add hot water if that tells you how long I waited. Also, the older guy who works here was quite the jerk to his customers. Maybe he was having a bad day but he made it seem that the girls who had gel on their toe nails were a burden to him. DO NOT GO HERE. They are awful with communication. They talk about you in a different language then continue to work on you. They also gave us mean faces. I was charged $27 for them to take acrylics off and slap lotion on my hand. That's seriously it. There is still residue from the acrylic on my hands. My mom, brother and I wanted to all sit together for a pedicure but they made it a huge deal on how we can't (when we were the only ones at the time wanting this). They are not curteous at all and miscommunicated with us about something at least 5x. Do not go here unless you want unmannerly/unprofessional service. Read Less

I went to get a regular mani/pedi. When I had my fingernails done I asked steven not to cut my nails, but he chopped them VERY short. I had grown my nails out for 3 weeks so that they would they would look great, but they look horrible. When he filed them he didn't even file them straight. They are uneven! I will NOT be going back. It was sub par at best. Chose it because of reviews on yelp. Walk in pedi. Sat in a chair that was broken super uncomfortable in barely luke warm water (even asked for it to be warmer) to wait. Not that great on the amount of types of pedis offered. Also get rid of the cheese grater for dry or callused feet. They make things that take it off without that much time. Also need new drying units. Sat at one for almost 10 minutes it wasn't even turned on or working. I don't think I'll be back. Read Less

I went in for a pedicure but ended up waiting 40 minutes with my feet in water without service and without a simple "hey, it's going to be over 40 minutes before we get to you" before deciding to leave and go down the street to ICONIC NAILS where they took me immediately without turning my feet into prunes first. They did a terrible job on my pedicure. My nail technician was bouncing around to three different customers. She completely forgot to push back my cuticles. by far my favorite place ever!! Q does my nails and he always makes them perfect. I see him more often than I should because I ALWAYS break a nail (or 3) and he doesn't mind seeing me every single week!! he always picks my color out for me and we've gotten to the point that I don't even have to say what I want, he just knows! they pay awesome attention to their clients and they definitely have talent. My disabled daughter & I have been going to a certain local nail salon for over 5 years. They sold to a different owner 6 months ago and since then we have had several various problems. Yesterday we had an appointment set up way in advanced and when we entered the salon we were immediately yelled at that our appointment was scheduled for the day before which would of been a Tuesday. That was an error on their part since my daughter has a standing massage therapy appointment e...very Tuesday so I would of never made an appointment on that day. We left and will never return again sadly. We then took a chance to see if La Chic Nail Spa had availability for both my daughter & I for both mani/pedi and to much of our surprise they did!!! We were very grateful & pleased with the service we received from both Vivian & Vickey and they even fit in the time for my daughter's wax!!! I went to la chic yesterday and asked Jonny to do an ombré French with some sparkle and he accepted the challenge! He didn't get it right at first but he was determined to make it look amazing. This place used to be awesome. You got a hot cuticle treatment, hand scrub, moisturizer, hand massage and hot towel treatment all before the manicure. Now they do a water soak and when they trim your cuticles they butcher you.  I had three bleeding cuticles. That never happened under the old ownership. I want to know where the former ownership took our amazing ladies. This place is horrible now. My daughter's polish was as messy as if she had a high school girl friend do it. So disappointed.Update: I found my amazing manicurists that used to work here now working at The Nail Parlor in Berry Farms. I'm happy. Read Less

I had my first pedicure there today. They had an available appointment, got me right in when I arrived, and did a really nice job. No one in the shop was super friendly, but enough to make me comfortable. The lady who did my pedicure knew many of the arriving customers by name, and greeted them warmly.  She was very thorough, asked my opinion about nail length and shape, etc. Towards the end of my pedicure, a customer that obviously had an appointment with her arrived. She continued to pay attention to the details of my pedicure, and simply asked her to have a seat. I didn't feel like she rushed through my 2nd foot which I really appreciate it. Jennifer was great with my pedicure! I had an appointment so I only waited a few minutes. She offered me a beverage and was very nice. Tasteful decor, clean and were greeted upon entering. Gel nail color selection was huge, multiple brands and easy to view boards.  We arrived the minute they opened, were second in line but somehow had to wait 30 minutes because the Pedi chairs filled up quickly and were the first to be serviced.
