After trying so many other nail salons and pretty disappointed and I found Vip Nail Spa. Friendly environment! The water was cold and I asked for it to be warmer …which she did right away. After searching for so long the BEST nail salon in Smyrna, I saw Vip Nails. Really great service. I was seated and got quickly prompted with what I would like to drink. I really liked this place. I got a fill and it was super affordable only $17. The woman who did my nails was very nice and did an amazing job she even fixed the mistakes of the last lady who did my nails at a different salon. She made my nails look perfect and she made sure they were nice. They offered me a drink and I got a full sized bottled water. They had a ton of polish to choose from. Would absolutely go again! Now here are a few reasons I didn't give them 5 stars: I did have to wait quite a while and while they did apologize for the wait I would say don't go if you don't have a lot of time. Luckily I had all day:) and they may have just been understaffed today. Also the shop was nice but a bit dirty. Everything had a light dusting of nail shaving all over it. My friend I work with at the hospital gave me a coupon for his location and I drove from where I live in Nashville to Smyrna to check it out and I was overwelmed with the professionalism and will drive back every time. I had Tiffany as my tech and she was amazing. I got a premium pedi, mani and waxing. It was a wonderful relaxing experience. Great relaxing music and just an all around great experience. I visited this place for the first time today to get a pedicure. The shop was nicely designed. My nail tech wasn't friendly/conversational at all. My service seem rushed. Everyone else was asked if they wanted something to drink except me and I was very offended. I paid for the $35 pedicure but it wasn't worth it. I won't be back there. Read Less

My nail tech was not personable. You could barely understand her when she spoke and was not very interactive. She immediately tried to up sale, and when I declined she rolled her eyes. As a result she half did the package I asked for. My feet are still rough and my callus was not attended​ to. My wife's​ pedicure turned out the same. $60 down the drain.Read Less

Went in for a couples mani pedi, I wish I would have went ANYWHERE else. The women who did my nails was very pushy and kept trying to up sell everything and wouldn't take no for an answer. I wanted regular polish and she pretty much told me no we're doing gel. When she went to hand me my wine I went to grab it and she shook me off and put it in the cup holder instead... Ok. She kept telling me the whole time over and over "Be careful of your phone, be careful don't drop your phone". at least five times. Ok I get it I'm not going to drop my phone. All of this wasn't even what pushed me over the edge. The girl who did my boyfriends nail was dressed so inappropriately I was honestly so disgusted. She had her boobs hanging out the entire time and was wearing stripper heels. Definitely inappropriate attire for a business, especially since she was the owner. Had Christmas music blaring in my ear so loud it gave me a headache. The entire experience took forever, looked terrible in the end, was extremely over priced, and honestly ruined my entire day off. I'd only been to this place once before, about a year ago and had a good experience. I took my mom a few days ago and was seriously disappointed. They didn't have the air conditioning on even though it was 80 degrees outside, so they propped the front door open. Wasps were flying around inside the waiting area. When they called me back, they called another woman back too--and left my mom sitting there. I thought they'd eventually bring her back but they never did. She opted to leave instead of making me wait 45 minutes while she got her pedi. When I called to tell the manager, she talked (yelled) over me and made it clear she could care less what had happened. I went here for three or four visits.  My first visit was great - it was a gentleman who handled my pedicure.  After that, one particular woman on a Saturday, was on her cell phone the ENTIRE 30 minutes of my pedicure. The time following that, it was a painful experience.  Not into having my blood drawn during a pedicure. I really should have called to let the owner know, as I'm sure business is down based on my experiences there.  These visits took place summer of 2015 by the way.  It would be nice if the employees had a better command of the English language since they're dealing with English speaking clients for the most part, but that seems difficult to find in my experience, when dealing with nail salons.  No one ever offered me wine!  I would have jumped on that and it might have dulled the pain of the pedicure. Nails were cute but the prices were ridiculous! My mother and I together were 76 dollars. I know nails can be pricy but compared to the other places that I've been to,this was way too much. First off the lady was extremely rude to my mother and cut her cuticles without even asking her and decided to charge her for that (10 dollars more) then the guy that was doing my nails I showed him a picture of what I wanted my nail shape to look like. He charged me 10 dollars more for that. Then we saw everybody getting chips and wine so my mother asked for a glass and the lady told her no only for appointments but as I looked around I overheard one of the girls asking someone who just walked in without an appointment (someone they knew) and gave them a glass of wine. Decided to give this place a try since my friend and I were in the area and really needed our nails done. My friend wanted acrylic with a Santa'a hat design. She even had a picture. The end result looks like a monster/pac man.. I got a simple acrylic with gel polish. The lady messed up so many times I was left with nubs that are shorter than my real nails.. For my nails, full set plus gel polish $55. Her nails, full set, gel polish, monster Santa hat $60. I've never written a bad review.. These ladies are GREAT. Affordable prices. They serve wine, water or whatever during your service. Make sure to ask!  They are pretty much always busy...so make a reservation or come on an off time (which they can still be busy). If you are happy with your services, leave a tip! These hard working ladies deserve it.  Basic pedi for $25 (which doesn't feel basic for me at all).  Great location - I'm here all the time for my acrylics, ha.  They do gel, waxing and other services too.  Make sure to stop in! This is one of just a few salons that can pull off a perfect French manicure. I've had several techs give me a great French mani at this place, whereas almost everywhere else I've been around Nashville, I've been a little displeased. I came here with my bridal party last Thursday. When we walked in we were all greeted, and asked what we would like. 4 pedicures, and 3 no chip manicures. There were 3 nail techs working, seeing as it was a Thursday morning, that seemed like the norm. As 2 of the nail techs were starting our pedicures everything seemed to be going well. My matron of honor and I were done first, so one nail tech started on her first. As I was waiting, my friend asked if she could please fix one of her nails as it was rough and needed to be filed. The nail techs response was, "I'm not done!" Ok, no big deal. Everyone else was finishing up their manicures, until one of my bridesmaids was left. The last bridesmaid wasn't happy with her nails so she decided to tell the same nail tech who shouted earlier. This woman was so rude! She screamed at my friend saying the only reason her nails were messed up was because of the lotion they use during the manicure. If that's the case then why put it on?
