Additionally, it was clean; the customer service was good; the massage chairs were new (with the exception of about 5 chairs); and they had a large number of stations and nail techs available (I was a walk-in). This was the best nail salon experience in Nashville I've had by far, and I've lived here almost 3 years. The staff are all super friendly and they got me in for my appointment right on time. They had a really relaxing back room with dimmed lighting for pedicures and it was quiet so I could just relax. Color looks great, perfect nail shape, and an all around awesome experience. My BEST gel manicure experience in Nashville so far! Came here on an early Monday morning as walk-in, right after they opened. The service was really nice. They bring me water and let me sit down to have few minutes to explore the colors. I hope I spelled my technician's name right, Milly. She is absolutely amazing. First I'm hesitant among three colors, she kindly let me try all of them and decide which one is my favorite. Then she was cutting my cuticles and applied layers carefully, nicely, and patiently. One thing to point out is that I personally felt the uv-light is a little bit too hot, but not a big deal. Secondly, for my final polishing layer, she figured out two of my nails didn't look shiny, which I didn't even realize. So she redid the polishing for me to make sure they look perfectly shiny, I really appreciate that. The hand massage after feels really really good and enjoyable. I absolutely love my nails after I came out and just couldn't stop taking  pictures. Will definitely come back for another visit soon! BTW, bring cash, you'll get a surprise when you pay with cash! This is a hidden gem and definitely worth the Green Hills traffic! I got a pedi and dipped gel mani--both of which were the best I've had in Nashville. The attention to detail on my nails and the calming atmosphere were so great! And 15% cash discount is an added bonus. This place has earned every five-star review. I am so picky when it comes to my pedicures and nails. This place is hands down the most relaxing when it comes to pedicures. Mary was amazing when it came to the leg and foot massage. The room for the pedicures is dark and tucked away from the front. The color variety is huge with Essie, OPI, SNS, and Kiara Sky. They also give you a 15% off when you pay with cash. My visit was average; I had a gift certificate so I was a first time customer. I booked a regular mani/pedi. No issues obtaining an appointment. The technician was very nice, but she cut a cuticle and while it only bled a little, she didn't do anything to clear it up. It did not feel great! The hot towels with the basic mani/pedi are a nice touch, but the massages were average; I don't really remember getting any hand massage with the mani. I just wasn't wowed, and I don't think I received the 15% cash discount; maybe because I also had a gift certificate? This was one of the best manicures I've ever gotten I am so pleased! Tina did my gel manicure and pedicure and she was so precise. I didn't feel like I was on a conveyor belt, she took her time and made sure to get every section on my nails filled in and even. My nails don't fan out at the ends from not getting the gel on evenly and they're aren't too thick or thin. My pedicure here was thoroughly relaxing, and I enjoyed it tremendously. The free drink and subdued lighting definitely added to the experience. I must admit that I was kind of hesitant writing  a review on Green Hills Nail Salon (GHNS) for selfish reasons but great work needs to be acknoledged. Tip 1: Schedule an appointment. Walk-ins are welcomed "IF" there is an opening but appointments are highly encouraged and preferred. Tip 2: Try to get there at least 10 minutes before your appointment to select your service(s) and polish. GHNS offers nail and pedicure stations with a plethora of polishes in assorted colors.  I selected a gel manicure and basic pedicure. After I selected my color I was escorted to the private pedicure room in the back. This room was dimly lit with soft music playing for the ultimate spa like experience. My nail tech was really nice and ensured that I was comfortable.Sanitation is a priority!!!! The salon was clean I didn't see any nail dust on the floor, all tools were opened from a sanitation package and a  plastic covering was placed over the foot tub. I turned on my massage chair and enjoyed 40 minutes of pure relaxation. My pedicure came out perfect and feet were soft. My manicure was great as well.GHNS offers quality service and products, reasonable prices, friendly staff, and best of all clean. The staff takes their time to ensure customer satisfaction. Three weeks later my mani/pedi still looked good with no chip nail polish or smudges. There are only a few employees and it's a popular salon, so I don't think they take walk-ins at all. Mary is my favorite nail tech; see her awesome work in the pic below. -Bring cash. You get a discount if you pay in cash. You can get a basic pedi and a gel mani for $60! It's a steal!!-Don't bring a tag-along buddy. There's not a waiting area. In fact, there's not much room at all. So if you have a child or a friend who isn't getting a mani or pedi, there probably won't be anywhere for them to sit. -It's located right next to King's Jewelers. I had a hard time finding it the first time! There's extra parking behind the building. Seriously, this salon is awesome. After reading the good reviews on Yelp, I decided to give this place a try and im glad I did! My first experience was fantastic! I will definitely be going back!! I walked in and they were able to fit me in right away (however appointments are preferred). The tech that did my nails was very friendly and engaged in conversation with me. The shop is clean and they use new tools each time they do a client's nails. They also have a program where if you pay in cash you get a percentage off of your bill (i think its 15%). I wanted to treat myself so I came here based on the great reviews! I walked in early when they opened and they were able to get me in immediately. I had a gel mani and regular pedi. Tuyet was great for both! She took care of me and made sure I got what I wanted. My nails look amazing and I left feeling really relaxed. I love their pedicure area. Called and made an appointment bc my normal salon couldn't get me in the same day. I am VERY pleased! Had a very relaxing, Un-rushed pedicure in a relaxing calm space that was not overly loud or playing loud music like my normal salon. She took her time and you could tell she knew what she was doing. Very sweet girl too! She even took the time to explain that my gel needed to soak off for a while so it wouldn't damage my nails. My previous salon had been tearing chunks of my nails off with my gel. My gel polish change looks AMAZING!! My nails look so healthy and pretty! What a fantastic find!  Because of the Yelp reviews I decided to give this place a try while visiting Nashville.The owner was fantastic when making my appointment and checking in throughout my manicure and pedicure with Lai.Lai was meticulous and professional.  The pedicure was thorough and my feet haven't looked or felt better!!  The gel manicure on my natural nails was perfect and she even fixed one of my broken nails with glue.There is complimentary soda and water and free wine with some of the pedicure choices.All of the tools are sanitized in packets like at the dentist's office, they open a new package of filing tools for every customer (you can even take it home), and their pedi tubs get a new liner each time - highly sanitary!!
