I went here almost 2 weeks ago to get a gel manicure, since my usually nail salon was closed, and had a very sub par experience. My manicure started peeling around the edges just a couple days in which has never happened with any gel manicure I’ve had before. The lady that did my nails was not very nice at all; I changed my mind about the shape I wanted (before she even started painting my nails) and she was huffy about it. Really, she was only nice to me when I was paying her and leaving. She also just started clipping away at the sides of my nails (very unevenly I might add) before even asking how I wanted them and now a lot of my nails are really crooked. I had to start taking my gel off because my hair kept getting caught under the polish because of the peeling. Not a favorable experience and overall poorly done manicure. Read Less

I’ve been to many places to get my nails done by dip powder, but none match up to the customer service and quality work that Ocean provided me with. He did just an amazing job with my nails! I will definitely be coming back ! Read Less

This place is horrible! DO NOT GO HERE! The nail techs have the nastiest attitude. I visited here twice with not great work done each time. When I returned to complain about my poorly polished nails the owner rudely told me that there was nothing she could do about the old color from my last polish being left on around the cuticle, and that she didn't have time for it.... How do u not have time..your here ALL DAY! She then proceeded to yell at me in front of other customers! All I wanted was my nails done, not to be publicly belittled. My first time at City Nails. The co-owner did a pedicure for me and a leg massage with hot stones.This was my first pedicure! And she was absolutely awesome! She has me; client for life! Go in and ask for Sandy. You will not be disappointed! My opinion, for the experience that I had, that day, the price of the pedicure was way way too CHEAP!! this lady will make your day! Called in to see if I need to make an appointment and was told by the very confused guy in the phone that I didn't need to that they have openings, I've not been sitting here for 25minutes while they have taken "appointments" ahead of me. Very displeased with this place unfortunately I have no choice but to use them today since the other places are about to close and this place promised me an opening. This place is nice for a couple reasons.. 1. The woman that did my pedicure did a wonderful job and made sure everything she did was perfect before my toes were painted 2. They have a nice selection of nail polish colors, gels and powder. I almost got exactly what I wanted.... almost. When I came to my full set, I wanted a coffin shape nail and I didn't want them to be extremely long because I take a lot of notes in class and because I just feel like long nails get in the way too much. The guy that did my nails seemed to do them in a rush... I understand it was getting late, but that's also because there were a lot of people in the shop and only 3 people doing nails. Some of my nails are crooked, some are not fully painted and can be noticed on the side, although I said I didn't want them long..he still made them longer than I wanted, and on some fingers you can CLEARLY see my actual nail underneath and lastly, the nail polish is slightly messed up already (got them done on Saturday and it's Monday). It was absolutely amazing. They wanted to talk and have fun. They accepted you right away and they were so nice. They were like one big family and weren't rude or hateful at all. They take their time and do an amazing job. She makes sure everything is just how you want it and she doesn't do anything lazily. I am IN LOVE with this place. I moved to Murfreesboro almost a year ago and have just been going to different nail salons trying to find the one for me ever since I moved here. I decided I'd give this Salon a try yesterday and I was immediately impressed. I came in thinking I was getting a fill in for my acrylics but he spent time with me explaining why they looked the way they did and that I should try something new so I ended up getting dip powder and I left extremely happy!!! I am extremely disappointed in my services here!  I'm in town, from Atlanta, and the nail salon across the street wasn't open so I decided to try this new salon out.  I went in for a simple Gel Polish change...Simple right?  NO!!!  It cost me $30 plus a $5 tip.  I'm used to getting full sets of nails for $25, Pedicures for $35, with Gel Polish.  This is highway robbery & I wouldn't recommend EVER coming to this location!!!  There was a place on the menu on the Additional Services side that read Gel $10 so I was thinking I'm getting a steal.  In Atlanta it's ONLY $15.  I'm very upset that I wasn't given an appropriate price for the quality of service.  DO NOT come here if you don't want to break the bank for a simple procedure.  A polish change for $30???  And after letting the man who charged me know that I've never paid that amount for a polish change his response was "We do things differently than Atlanta!"  What?  You're right...subpar work for an expensive price.  Ridiculous...Outrageous...Excessive!!!  Please go across the street to Magical Nails where the prices will be within a reasonable range & the service & quality will exceed expectations!!!! I LOVE THIS PLACE! You have to come here and definitely get nail art! This salon has a beautiful atmosphere. You can make an appointment or just walk in. Besides nails they also wax and put on eyelashes! Definitely recommend this place. I have found my new favorite salon! Read Less
