Came on a Friday afternoon for a pedi picked my polish color and the lady directed me to my chair. You want that darkness and quiet time this is the place to give it a try. The lady that did my pedi was pleasant and took her time. I'm no one to judge but my feet didn't need much work but some polishing and my feet looks brand new again. I was immediately greeted and asked what service I was interested in.  A pedi was all.  Two gals that immediately followed me were told it would be at least an hour wait, but nothing was said to me.  While I only waited 20 minutes to be called back, the owner told me it would only be 15 to 20 minutes to soak before someone got to me.  An HOUR later,  I was greeted.  I asked for a basic pedicure.  30 minutes later,  I was done.  After asking for two toes to be redone,  because they were not fully covered. The place is really nice. I went to get a manicure and pedicure. When you walk to the back where the chairs are for the pedicures, it is nice and relaxing. You can literally sit back and just enjoy your time there. When my manicure finished, I went to the front to get my manicure. The only thing I don't really like is the fact that they aren't very clear with prices. Yes, there is a booklet with everything in it. However, while I sat there calculating the price of everything, thinking it would be around $50-60, it actually turned out to be $82 total. There was no explanation that gel would be A LOT more than just everything else normally. But the job was so amazing I couldn't even complain that much honestly. Besides that, everything is nice. My nails initially looked great. Less than 2 weeks later both toenails and fingernails are chipped horribly. When I used to get my nails done in California the fingernails would last at least 3 weeks and the toenails nearly 2 months, and never because of chipping, but because they grew out. I had a gift card to come here. It's right off the corner of Thompson Lane and Medical Center, so it is in a really great location. When I entered into the spa, I thought it looked pretty average. But then they took me back to the "pedicure room" and it was beautiful and very nice. The chairs were overstuffed and very fluffy and they had the massagers in them as well. The lights were dimmed and they had a fountain running in the background. I wish they would have played some soft music in the background as well, it seemed a little too quite.I opted for the Spa Pedicure, which is basically a pedicure with an extra massage. It's seven more dollars, and you get about a 12 minute massage with a sugar scrub. I think it was worth it. The regular pedicure is 28 dollars, which is about normal. The lady did a great job. One thing I loved is that she didn't force a conversation. Should could tell that I just wanted to lay back and relax. The reason that I have this place three stars, is because I've been to a 5 star spa and obviously a small nail place in the boro doesn't compare. But, if you are looking for something quick and relaxing, then this is certainly a good option! Read Less

Me and my mom went in the last 30 minutes before closing and they still took us! They were happy to and they were so friendly great conversation! Laughs just wonderful they did a great job on my mom and I pedicures! The environment was great! I love this place ill definitely be back to bring more people! Read Less

Balisimo used to be a wonderful place to get pampered. My mom and I have gone there for years - since they opened. In recent years, the ownership changed, and more recently, the staff has turned over, and the quality of mani/pedis has gone downhill. The most disappointing thing of all is that I heard a new manicurist named Macy tell a customer that her nails were ugly. She said with a scowl on her face, "Your nails not pretty. They ugly." I was blown away, and the customer got up in tears and left before her manicure was done. The worst part was that Macy tried to lie about it, but multiple people heard what she said. I will not return to Balisimo Spa, nor will my mother. You cannot be rude to someone that is paying you to pamper them and make them feel pretty. What a horrible way to do business. Read Less

This used to be the best place in Mboro for a pedicure but they have changed. No color selections, not a relaxing atmosphere. They refused to accept two gift cards I had received that do not have an expiration date. They told me this after they did a pedicure and then charged way more than all of the salons are charging nearby! My pedi didn't even include leg massage like before. No customer service at all. No one was there yesterday! They used to be packed so they are obviously losing their former clientele.Read Less

I've been going to S&T for about 8 years and absolutely love it! Just make an appointment and they will take you promptly plus do a fantastic job. Also, they get new colors often and Tom is always up to date with the newest trends. I have had a very busy schedule with college and medical school so don't have much time to spend waiting, but it was never an issue with S&T because they respected my time and worked very efficiently!
