My first issue: SANITATION. I watched the man that was doing a pedicure toss the tool he used for scraping under someone's toe nails on the table of the station i was getting my nails done at. The fact that it was inches from my hand was bad enough, but I looked over at the tool, AND THERE WAS WHITE TOE FUNK STILL ON IT!!Second: MY ONE CRAZY NAIL.The nail tech made one of my nails much shorter and a completely different shape than the rest. i asked her if she could maybe file the rest of them a bit so they'd look a bit more uniform. I was disappointed that they would have to lose close to all their length to match that one nail, but it looked way too noticeable to leave alone. At first she was frustrated and said they were the same length, then grabbed the file. Rather than shortening the rest of them, she filed that one short, round nail EVEN SHORTER !!Third: SHE YELLED AT ME. I decided to accept the fact that this wasnt going to go my way. I thanked her for her time, and asked if i could just leave them unpolished so i could try to work with them at home and paint them myself. She said yes, no problem, so just the fill for you? I said yes, thank you. We walked up to the register together after i handed her my card. She swiped my card and said $18. I was a bit surprised so i said, ma'am he told me it would be 18 for the fill with regular polish, but i didnt get polish. So do i still have to pay for the polish part? She said, louder this time, "it's $18. I did the service for you. I do the service, you pay." I told her, "Yes, i understand that, but i didnt get the entire service, and I'm not even happy with the part i did get done, and I'm still bleeding. So it really doesnt make sense for me to have to pay full price when i didnt get the full service. I am willing to pay for the part i did get though." She handed me the receipt with a pen, gave my card back and said again, louder this time, "$18. You pay full price for the service because i did it for you." I was really surprised because i wasnt rude or loud with her at all up to this point, but i had just about enough. This is a service industry, and i was not happy with the fact that she was rude and raising her voice at me. So finally, i quietly asked her, "What if i dont sign this receipt?" (Maybe that was petty of me, but she was so rude!) Her eyes got huge, voice grew even louder, and she actually YELLED at me! Then she looked and called to her husband for support, waving him over. Completely shocked, i stayed calm and told her, "I'm not trying to argue with you ma'am, but you're being very rude to me, and i dont understand why. I didnt refuse to pay for the service i got. But i shouldnt have to pay for what i didnt get. I handed you my card willingly. You cut me twice, messed up my nail, and i didnt even get them painted. But that's fine.. It's all fine, and I'm not going to go back and forth with you over $18." She didn't stop yelling at all to listen, and neither her or her husband cared what i had to say so, i signed the receipt thinking it would get her to stop, but she kept on. I grabbed my copy, said " thank you, have a wonderful night, " and i walked out. Side note: I'm also in the service industry. I'm a cosmetologist, so I also deal with people all day, every day. It's not about the $18 -- it's about the principal. If i had a color client that i applied color to, and she went home to shampoo it out herself, there is NO WAY I'd charge her the same amount as i would someone who I've applied color to, shampooed her, and blow dried/styled her hair. I just couldnt!!The money, i couldnt possibly care less about, but those 2 horrendously wasted hours, I'll never get back. Long story short: i wont be going back. Read Less
