Best place in Longmont!!! And the owner is hilarious and a character...You do wait much longer without an appointment...No matter it is worth the wait...My shellac will last up to 3 weeks....Other places in town I was lucky to get 10 days out of a shellac manicure...Excellent and meticulous work!!! I love this place for French tip pedicures but manicures? No. I asked them if they did gel nails. Not gel polish, gel nail extensions, the stuff in the little pot that hardens under the led lamp. They said yes we do that and this is how much it costs. I get there and they give me acrylics, which is not what I asked for. The lady refused to thin them down when I told her they were too thick. The tips are uneven, she cut me with the file multiple times and I'm just not happy with the place at all anymore. Suggestions welcome for a place that does what they say they do. Very disappointed. I did a walk-in for a pedicure! I was told to pick a color & I got seated right away! I just had polish removed, nails cut, scrubbed, massaged, range of motion a little bit (lol), warm towels, painted, & fanned! Massage chair the whole time! It was 28$ & tipped 5$! Read Less

I used to be extremely impressed with this salon. But the past 3 times I have come have not been great. I chose to go back and give them a new chance but with each passing time it just got worse. Within at least a week, the acrylic was crumbling off of my nails. The paint job is horrible. Clumpy and uneven. I went for the last time today to get my nails fixed and re based and they charged me for acrylic and shellac but the lady took off all the acrylic on my nails and now the...y're extremely thin. I have anxiety the entire time I was there and was just not pleased. I also had a 30 dollar credit that was to be applied to my nails today that was not and was basically ignored. Had acrylic nails with nail art on one nail. They did a great job and actually listened to me when I told them what shape I wanted. That was a first! They got me in quickly even though they had many people and were very friendly yet professional. Highly recommend! Wish they had more nail art available which is the only negative I found at all. I got acrylics done here, and they were done extremely well. I was attended to quickly, and the staff were agreeable. Terrible customer service even worse mani/pedi services.Upon recently relocating to the area I have been desperately trying to find a good nail salon. After 2 visits to Li En Nail Salon I will won't be going back.First, the staff is very rude and short with their clients. The pedicures my friend and I received were sub-par at best. The polish barely lasted a week, very disappointing!I gave the salon a second chance only to received the same annoyed reaction when I walked in the door. My shellac mani started to chip the very next day and they refused to repair it. When I went to another salon they noted that the shellac adhesive had been placed too close to the cuticle and weakened my nails! My advice: avoid this salon. Read Less

This review is strictly about a conversation I had over the phone with an employee while trying to book an appointment. I called on a weekend day to see if they had any appointments available , I specifically asked if they take appointments or walk ins only and he said yes we do take appointments . I then asked if he had any appointments for today and he said let me check ... Came back to the line and asked what time and I told him the soonest available . He started to get my information then said oh we don't take appointments . I was sooooooo confused. I had to update my review. I've been to this salon three times now. The first two times were good. This visit the nail tech made inappropriate, intrusive comments: "Have you had toe surgery? Oooh are those mosquito bites on your legs?" Wow. I asked for a pedi and she insisted I also needed a mani, which I agreed to against my better judgment. I really hate getting an upsell, just give me what I asked for. They had used acrylic on only my thumbnails  a couple of months ago to smooth out some ridges. She tried to pry it off. I literally had to say "Stop, that hurts" twice before she stopped. It was too late, she'd already peeled off the top layer ... or two ... of my nail. She said "I never use acrylics, I don't like them. I'm not a professional." I couldn't agree more. Then she added insult to injury and said "I could get them off but you're scared." I said "I'm not scared, it hurt." She said "Well I don't want you to cry all night" in a sing-song voice. Really?!? I just moved to the area a few months ago and found my new go to nail salon after the first try! It is really hard for me to find a place that does a good pedicure and is also clean.  I love that they use liners in the pedicure tub, that is a must for me for sanitary reasons.  Many places do not line the tubs at all and it grosses me out.  They were very nice and did an excellent job and took their time.  I will only go to Li En Nail Salon from now on. I've only been here once and my first time it was clean, they were prompt in providing service. Not super personal but nice enough. It was relaxing and the color turned out nice. Just disappointed that after waiting 10 minutes under the fan and light my nails got messed up before I got home and I did such a terrible job trying to fix it. I've been going to this nail salon for over 5 years. I typically have the same person do my nails, but have had others on occasion. They are exceptionally careful, do a great job and are interesting people to chat with. Most of all they are able to take care of ingrown nails I get now and then. I decided to take a day to myself and run to Mt. Juliet to do a bit of shopping and go to Salsarita's. After finishing up at Providence I decided to stay in Mt. Juliet to get my nails done (since all the nail salons in Hermitage are stupid). They closed at 7:00 and it was about 6:30. I walked in and was pleasantly greeted. I picked out my nail color and they immediately got started even though they had a full house! My nail tech was Tami. She was very sweet and nurturing. She was quick and precise. I will most definitely be going back! The only reason I didn't give it four stars is because my thumb nails are slightly uneven and I'm pretty particular about my nails. I checked in on July 31st ready for a pedicure and full set of colored acrylics, so excited to be in my fav nail salon and ready to drop a bundle on myself.  It was as great as I remembered until I was given a different girl to do my manicure, who refused to push back my cuticles in a way that would have actually been useful.  Her first excuse was "I don't want make you bleed."  The next one was "I am doing my job and this is the way I do my job".  Last, she finally flat out refused to finish me or let the other girl do my full set.  Then, she became extremely rude and agitated when I finally picked up the metal implement she had used and showed her in about 4 seconds what I wanted and did all 10 nails reassuring her all the while that I wasn't in pain and actually loved how clean it looked and felt.  That's when she had a young man come over and the two of them threatened me and told me to leave!  I was still wearing the funny pink flip flops with toe extenders still on my feet and after they very publicly forced me outside, her yelling at me in front of about 20 people in the salon, making me out to be a criminal and the young man got behind my car and wrote down my license while she called the police!  She said I owed them $20!!!  The worst part?  When I asked to see the manager she said She WAS THE MANAGER.  In my opinion, what she did to me was abuse and no one I know will ever go there again.  If you want a better, more relaxed atmosphere and experience for the same price, go to DIVA NAILS in Providence.  And if you do end up at Lien Nails, tell them upfront, you DO NOT want the MANAGER!!!Licensed Cosmotologist since 1995 Read Less

I visited Li En nails yesterday and it was a mediocre experience. The tech was nice and did a pretty descent job on my my mani and pedi but I found it odd they had me stay in the pedicure chair for my manicure. It made it awkward for her to do my nails. I was given a fan in my lap to dry my nails. After sitting with my fingers curled around a fan for 15 mins I still messed one up putting my seatbelt on. Where is the nail dryer? They have about 12 pedi chairs but only like 4 nails stations?? Also, soccer on the entire time. And the workers yelling across the salon the entire time speaking in their language. Also, they didn't do any waxing. It was ok, but I'll likely continue my search for the nail salon I love and a bit more professional and relaxing environment. Read Less

I've been going to Li En since shortly after it opened. The staff is always very nice, and after a few visits they remember their customers. In addition to the regular nail salon services, they have chairs available for young girls that are shaped like butterflies and their own personal TVs beside the chair. Li En also offers something to drink to their clients, something that other nail salons I've been to do not offer. I usually ask for water, so I'm not sure what other selection they might have. As with many nail salons run by people whose first language is not English, the staff will sometimes speak in another language, but I've never felt like they did so overly or felt like they were just gossiping about their customers like I have at other nail salons.
