My shellac looks terrible after one week! Three cracked nails, and chipped polish. A $78 mani/pedi didn’t last a week, and the manager wasn’t the politest when I asked him about the expensive lavender addition. I won’t be returning, even though the technicians are nice. I went for the first time a few weeks ago. Omg ! I love it. Everyone was so nice. The atmosphere is so relaxing. My nails were perfect. John took his time and every so often he would ask me if I was ok. That’s super important. Other places never ask that for some reason. I will be making this my new regular place to go ! Just moved to the area and picked this location based on the reviews and being that it is open late. Most shops rush an hour before closing, but the young lady took her time and although she didn’t talk to me much was very nice. I was in and out and my nails were simple and neat like I like! As a first time visitor, I must say I enjoyed my experience. I was very impressed. The facility was super clean, staff was friendly and wait time wasn't long. It looked very relaxing and it looked like they were doing a great job. I left because when I walked in no one addressed me and there was a guy at the front desk looked me in the face and walked away. I signed in and had a seat. A white lady came in the door and he came up to the front desk and said hello and then looked at me and said hello. He then asked her what she would like to get. They may not be racist but perception of not equally treating all customers the same should be addressed. I love living in Europe. I was in Memphis for business and needed a mani pedi.  Reviews were great on this salon so I gave it a try. There was no wait, plenty of technicians, friendly staff and super clean.  They use liners in the pedi bowl, sterilize all the tools in bags for each use and even the bathroom was spotless.  Had an excellent plain mani pedi with Opi product which is the bulk of the polish.  They do gel and dip as well. Awesome Experience! Walked right in and was in a chair immediately. Very clean and the staff is personable. I liked how they use plastic protective covers in the pedicure bowl and change it out after each customer. They bring you nail swatches to pick your color, so you get to relax right away. I have been to MULTIPLE places to get my nails done but never really enjoyed my experience. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and my nails would always be filed crooked or painted badly and it just got me frustrated in the end. I decided to drop into Relax Nail Spa after work and I am SUPER glad I did. I had a great experience! Everyone was super nice. My nail tech (Her name tag said Van Tran) filed, painted, and trimmed my nails PERFECTLY! I have never been so happy about my nails in my life lol. I ended up here after my normal nail shop was too crowded. It's a very spacious salon and there are a lot of options in regards to scents, essential oils, and services. To be honest, though, all the different scents from the essential oils gave me a headache. I had to wait for a nail tech, which was no problem, but my water got cold before he came and no one ever offered to add hot water or ask if the temperature was okay. I felt like both my manicure and pedicure were rushed, the color wasn't applied evenly, my nails weren't cut and filed evenly, and neither one of them lasted as long as normal. This spa is the cleanest in Memphis.  The service is wonderful, very polite and attentive.  Beautiful, relaxing atmosphere and specialty herbal and organic choices.  They also bring out new files so you don't have to share with others, which is a bonus. Wine and drinks are available, and I have never had to wait for service as I have at some of the other popular salons in town. They offer shellac and the new powder mani as well.
