I came into this shop on July 8th, 2018 because my usual salon was closed and the reviews seemed promising. Upon entering, the atmosphere made me feel like I made the right choice with the "higher-end" vibe. I was told to sign in and choose my service for the day which was a full acrylic shellac set. The price ended up being $70 which shook me for a moment but I figured "okay, higher end, maybe this is worth the price" so I stuck with it. Shortly after being seated I was offered a drink. Awesome.
The technician was very kind and made my nails look really good. I left fairly pleased, but still feeling like I broke the bank on what I usually find to be a $40 deal. Oh well, I treated myself, I thought.
Well, the reason I am giving three stars though is because my intuition of it being a bit too much for what it's worth was spot on. Not even 5 days later I've had two nails snap off. One when I was merely scratching my stomach and another when I tried to pick up a book (I managed to glue that one back on). There just isn't any reason to pay such an amount for something that doesn't withstand a week. My usual spot is Nail Club and they offer full acrylic sets with diamond gel and a style for about $42, not including tip, and they have lasted about a month (with fill-ins) each time.
This was just my experience with a set though. Their other services may be better.

Top customer service top quality nails I’ve been to a couple of nail salon here in Memphis and this salon is it , my experience here has been by far the best , relaxing, clean environment, complimentary drinks which I always get Chardonnay wine and it just makes my visit so much more enjoyable love it! My nails always come out looking amazing he technicians are always polite and friendly. I wont go any where else.

Yesterday when I arrived one the techs claimed they were booked up and wasn't able to provide me with service when it was only two customers inside. The looks I receive when I walk in this shop is unbelievable and I'm starting to believing they do not like servicing women of color. I will not be returning there is no need for the ride stares and people turning their noses up as if they are better in such a way!!!!!

This place is awesome! I have been helped by several people here and I've never been disappointed (I get full acrylics every time). Everyone has a lot of experience and do a great job! However, my tech is AMAZING! I don't have to worry at all when she does my nails, I know she's gonna do it perfect every time .. and she does! She is also just so sweet, delicate, and I can tell she really cares about her work. She definitely deserves a shoutout! Highly recommend this salon!!

This is my second time here and neither time was relaxing due to the poor service and rude attitude of the people at work. I am new to the state of Tennessee was in search of a nail salon. This morning, I decided to try Purelux Nail Spa and from the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile. Kira provided my pedicure she did excellent job. She was very kind and professional. The manager was truly delightful she periodically checked on me. I shared with her I would need to leave by 11:30am for another appointment. She assured me that I would be out in time. My entire experience at this salon was great from start to finish. I will be back and I would highly recommend visiting here.

I was immediately welcoming me. My manicure was thorough and looks beautiful. I could tell that staff here worked very hard. They give the best manicures and pedicures in the area.
I am going back there the first chance I get! A great place to treat yourself and relax (life is hard. pedicures help).

Purelux nail spa presents with chic and classy decor, and the staff is very friendly and competent. I've had two mani and pedis there so far, and I had a wonderful experience both times. The staff isn't rushed, which results in a relaxing time and a well done manicure and pedi. Also, they serve the same cocktails as other salons, as well as margaritas! I choose Purelux over any of the other nails spas in the immediate surrounding area.

Visited here yesterday for the first time. Was greeted so very graciously and warmly by Miss LeeLee! I love her! Though I was running late I called and let them know and they still accommodated me and my beau wonderfully! I will come back here over and over again! I got the milk and honey pedicure and a gel refill. We sipped our complimentary champagne and wine and chatted during the luxurious foot massages. Thank you to everyone at PureLux!! This is the best I ever had! I had a lot of manicure and Pedicure everywhere but this one is the best. They have excellent customer service and the price is decent. If you have naturally weak nails try the Nexgen Dip Powder. It looks like acrylic but actually helps your natural nails get stronger and grow. Can get busy on Fridays and weekends so appointments are recommended if you don't have time to wait. Highly recommended

YOU NEED TO READ THIS.Honestly the very worst nail experience I have EVER had. I highly recommend bringing your business elsewhere. One of the women who was doing my nails was trimming my cuticles and I began to bleed. At first, I was not upset because it does happen sometimes. But then she allowed it to continue to bleed without doing anything to it. Finally a coworker comes by and says she needs to do something about the blood. She begins to sanitize it by putting the actual nozzle into my blood and then takes another sanitation product that had bristles and put that directly into my blood. This is HIGHLY unhygienic and unacceptable. On top of that, she did NOT stop the bleeding and actually LEFT the entire store and ran outside and left me there bleeding without explanation. After sitting there and waiting for five minutes I decided that this is not worth my money at all. So I went outside and saw the woman who was doing my nails in front of some guy's truck with a fellow coworker holding a Muddy's bag. I was still bleeding. It was enough blood to cover my entire nail.

Kaitlyn (sp?) was so attentive and noticed my nail polish was a little more transparent than on the swatch and she fixed me right up before I even had to ask. Can't help but show off my hands. I will not be returning back to this place. This is the second time I ve been treated with disrespect . Yesterday when I arrived one the techs claimed they were booked up and wasn't able to provide me with service when it was only two customers inside. The looks I receive when I walk in this shop is unbelievable and I'm starting to believing they do not like servicing women of color. I will not be returning there is no need for the ride stares and people turning their noses up as if they are better in such a way!!!!!

However, my tech is AMAZING! I don't have to worry at all when she does my nails, I know she's gonna do it perfect every time .. and she does! I am new to the state of Tennessee was in search of a nail salon. This morning, I decided to try Purelux Nail Spa and from the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile. Kira provided my pedicure she did excellent job. She was very kind and professional. The manager was truly delightful she periodically checked on me. I shared with her I would need to leave by 11:30am for another appointment. She assured me that I would be out in time. My entire experience at this salon was great from start to finish. I will be back and I would highly recommend visiting here.

Purelux nail spa presents with chic and classy decor, and the staff is very friendly and competent. I've had two mani and pedis there so far, and I had a wonderful experience both times. The staff isn't rushed, which results in a relaxing time and a well done manicure and pedi. Also, they serve the same cocktails as other salons, as well as margaritas! I choose Purelux over any of the other nails spas in the immediate surrounding area.

This is the best I ever had! I had a lot of manicure and Pedicure everywhere but this one is the best. They have excellent customer service and the price is decent. If you have naturally weak nails try the Nexgen Dip Powder. It looks like acrylic but actually helps your natural nails get stronger and grow. Can get busy on Fridays and weekends so appointments are recommended if you don't have time to wait. Highly recommended

YOU NEED TO READ THIS.Honestly the very worst nail experience I have EVER had. I highly recommend bringing your business elsewhere. One of the women who was doing my nails was trimming my cuticles and I began to bleed. At first, I was not upset because it does happen sometimes. But then she allowed it to continue to bleed without doing anything to it. Finally a coworker comes by and says she needs to do something about the blood. She begins to sanitize it by putting the actual nozzle into my blood and then takes another sanitation product that had bristles and put that directly into my blood. This is HIGHLY unhygienic and unacceptable. On top of that, she did NOT stop the bleeding and actually LEFT the entire store and ran outside and left me there bleeding without explanation. After sitting there and waiting for five minutes I decided that this is not worth my money at all. So I went outside and saw the woman who was doing my nails in front of some guy's truck with a fellow coworker holding a Muddy's bag. I was still bleeding. It was enough blood to cover my entire nail.
