ViNa Nails is my favorite nail salon that I have visited here in Knoxville (I have been to many places). Each visit their salon is clean and comfortable. Technicians here genuinely take their time with each client. I have been paired with Miss Farrah now a few times and I absolutely love her! I really wanted to like this place. I've been 3x now and each time has been lack luster.... First the guy who did my nails did not talk to me and rushed. Then when preferred customers came in I was rushed out of my chair to wait at the drying station with unpainted nails. After 10 mins of sitting and looking lost he came back and painted my hands at the drying station! Since then I have had 3 nails break on me! They look nice but are waaaaay too thin! I've never broke this many nails from any salon ever! I went back to get my nail fixed and I am charged. Why? When it was the technicians fault for making them too thin! I broke my latest nail putting groceries in the car! The women workers are friendly, but not so much for the man. I really wanted to like this salon but I am not happy at all. Vina Nails has been my go-to for the last 3 years. Ho is amazing and he really cares about providing quality work - and it shows every single time. I always get acrylic with him and he does an amazing job at making it look natural. I've only had Ho do my nails but I've heard from several people that the other ladies are wonderful too! First time going here and the service was amazing. Farrah did a wonderful job not even a year out of school. She made sure I liked the shape and color. She stayed an hour after closing to finish my manicure and didn't show that it bothered her one bit. This is the best nail salon in Knox. I have followed the owners from their previous locations because I am so impressed with the services offered. Great variety of colors. Went here today to get my eyebrows waxed and had a great experience. They worked me in between appointments so I had no wait. Everyone I spoke to was helpful and communicated easily. I normally have bad skin reactions to the oil they use after waxing but I had very little reaction to what they used today. I will definitely be back! Read Less

I normally get my toes done once a month and decided to try somewhere new and I'm so glad I did! Amy did my pedicure and she was phenomenal, and she was great conversation! Ho did my nails, and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out, AND he was great conversation as well. So visiting the area from LA for potentially moving to Knoxville; wanted to try out the local options for mani/pedi.  I was aghast that the prices were substantially higher than LA, where everything usually costs 3x the rest of the sane parts of the country - not so here - ViNa Nails beat LA by a wide margin.  Also, taking it easy staying local, the next day the mani started to peal.  One by  one the polish started coming off, and only driving around and checking out local eating establishments and history - not like I was doing anything to stress the manicure.  So, that sucked big time!  Staff seemed nice, though didn't talk much, though the place does have a kind of kitchy nice atmosphere, and they do have those giant massage chairs for the pedi portion of the visit.  Generally, overall, so far from what I would expect for a good salon, and as the heading says, Eek!  Methinks not. Great price for manicures and gel nails! The employees are professional, kind, and very skilled! I got a traditional french gel manicure, and they turned out beautiful! I accidentally caught one of my nails on the side of the gel curing machine, and the man was able to fix it. I will definitely come here again! Read Less
