The people here are amazing, and they have a wonderful variety to choose from. I was super nervous to come in because I bite my nails so bad, some of my nails we're only halfway grown. This is the best nail salon in Knoxville that I have ever been to. The service is consistently awesome. I get in grown toenails and have to get a pedicure done each month to keep my nail from growing in too bad. This is the only place in Knoxville that always does a good job or removing the nail, making sure I am not in pain, and leaving me with beautiful toenails. I cannot suggest this place enough! Stopped in for a quick easy pedicure, based on the good reviews... I ended up going with the deluxe $53 one, that included hot wax & some other things. All I can say is, it was amazing thanks to Tiffany! She took her time and she is a very sweet young lady. The place had several techs working on the large group of customers. I can say that I must have been to around 10 different nail salons before finding Moda. My mom and I judge a nail salon based upon the smell of the salon. Moda has no chemical odor which is a huge plus! I had acrylic nails done in dipping powder at a local nail spa around two weeks ago and was shocked to see that I already needed them replaced. One nail was completely tearing away from my nail bed with my whole length attached. I talked my nail technician at Moda about it and he said they weren't done well at all. Really great experience! I went last night for a pedicure and thoroughly enjoyed it (as you see from my past reviews I've had a tough time finding a good nail place in Knoxville since moving here). Justin did my pedicure and from the moment I walked in until the moment I left it was a peaceful, clean, and relaxing experience. Their wall of polishes was quite impressive and also very clean and tidy. I intend to come back soon to see if their gel manicures are also impressive. I'll write an updated review once I do so. I came here on a Saturday, late-afternoon and they were pretty busy. My friend raves about this place so I came with her to give it a try. It's a nice looking salon with a variety of colors and gel colors. My friends got there before me and had already been waiting for 40 minutes to be serviced. When I arrived, I was serviced in about 15min. I decided to go with the $38 pedicure but should have stuck w the basic pedicure for $30 Bc there wasn't much of a difference. My nail tech was very friendly and gentle. She offered me a complimentary beverage. She took her time with my pedicure and checked-in often with me to make sure I was ok. I only wished she massaged my feet a bit harder. Her massage was more of a light rub and actually tickled more than anything.  Also, I don't like how she painted my toes. Some toes could use another coat and she didn't paint all the way down to the cuticle line. It looks like my toes need a fill. I wish I noticed it while in the shop Bc I would have made her fix it. This was one of the best gel manicures I've ever had. Ly Vo is amazing!! I have never been so relaxed that I could fall asleep from a manicure but that's definitely what happened today. Moda Nail spa is an upscale  nail salon. It was like taking me to my happy place from the time I enter this amazing spa at Moda's .I came here for a girl evening out before my flight the next day. ( it was heavenly)You know that you must have your nails done from hand to feet when you are traveling.My service was excellent with Sue. I had the super deluxe mani/pedi to include the hot wax massage, hot stones with the hot towels all over my feet to my knees. When Sue got to my hand I had aright melted inside from all  of the personal massaging with multiple super deluxe  services on  my feet, ankles, legs and knees. The massage chair help me to totally relax with all of the massaging on my feet to my knees.It was an excellent experience here at this amazing spa. Very clean, well-appointed salon. Tried S&S pink and white for the first time, but as an avid acrylic wearer, I was very pleased with the quick and knowledgeable service I received from Rachel. I called 15 min in advance to make a quick appointment and to check on availability. When I arrived, I was seated immediately and she promptly began working on my nails. I paid $7 for cuticle removal (they have a warming process) + $48 for S&S pink and white. I feel that the price is fairly standard, but is on the higher side in comparison traditional white tips, etc. I have been to just about every nail salon in Knoxville and I can say this may be the best experience I have had. Excellent nail salon. They have an excellent air system, there were minimal chemical fumes. All tools are sanitized and the pedi basins were lined with one time use plastic. Yes wasteful, but hygienic. The staff took their time and trimmed, nipped, and painted with my nails well. Pretfy updated interior. Drinks were offered. Oh, and the massage chair went foward enough for this short person to comfortably reach the pedi basin. Definitely coming back. Read Less

I had such a great experience with Moda Nails today! They did such an amazing job and fixed a terrible "gel powder manicure" that another salon did a few weeks prior. Turns out the other salon did the powder dip but also put gel coating over the top which had to be drilled/soaked off in multiple layers...awful for my natural nails! I went for a pedicure (walk-in). They were amazing! Everyone was super nice. The girl that did my nails was super gentle and took extra care. The facility is super nice and clean. The chairs are new and work great. Beverages were offered (I saw others with wine). The prices aew great, too. There are a range of pedicures. I went with one of the lower ones ($36) and got a massage, hot towels, and sugar scrub. The more pricy ones have other spa treatments. It is SO worth it. They are behind Bonefish in Turkey Creek. My favorite nail salon hands down. They really seem to care about the customers & make a effort to remember who you are & try to get to know you.The only problem I have is everyone else seems to know about them & like them as well :). So they are always busy. I recommend making appointments, but it's my favorite salon to go with my friends & family for a wonderful relaxing pedi. My mom, sister and I decided to get our nails done and saw the great reviews and wanted to give this place a try. We had appointments at 11 and they were able to seat my sister and I right away but my mom waited until 11:40 and no one helped her so she decided not to get them done and all the staff did was give a half ass apology. I have been to Moda several times and they have consistently been accommodating to special requests (such as to be done by a certain time) and attentive. For example, when I went today I was hoping to leave by a certain time. I didn't communicate that, but one of their staff noticed me checking the clock while waiting for a manicurist and she let me know someone would be with me shortly and someone came right over. The prices are reasonable (actually much lower than I would pay at the larger salon in Turkey Creek), and the quality of work and service is consistent at Moda. Read Less

I was a little worried when I first went into the shop and only seen 2 other people in there but decided to give it a try. I am SO glad that I did. Not only did they do a great job for my daughter and my toes, but they were really nice. My big toe is a little sore after having my nails done but after the last pedi I had at another place I expected this. There was a nasty mess on my big toe and I'm happy to see that it looks so much better. My daughter had the regular pedicure ($25) and I had the next level up ($31). I would highly recommend getting the spa level where it comes with the scrub. It not only smells great but my legs and feet felt amazing after my pedi. The lady that painted my nails took her time and made sure that there was an even coat of paint on each nail. She even did the same for my daughter and when she accidentally smudged her paint, they were more then happy to fix her smudge with no issues. I got a great gel manicure here it did last over two weeks. Its frustrating though to treat yourself to something and then be pressured to spend more money. She said she would do an eyebrow wax for 10.00 then asked if I wanted a pedicure. I told her I would think about the eyebrow wax. She asked me to get up and come with her. I thought we were going to do the manicure, but she took me to a small room and closed the door and said she was going to do the eyebrow wax. I felt SO pressured so I let her do it. She made my eyebrows so thin, I HATED it!!! When some teenage girls came in for a pedi, the owner started trying to get them to upgrade. They said no, but she kept bugging them. Do not go here! I took my daughter here for both of us to get a manicure/pedicure. Right away they try to get you to get the gel polish and are pushy about it. Then they try to talk you into getting an eyebrow wax. I had a man do my services. Instead of the foot/leg massage, I got lotion rubbed onto me. My heels had just as much dry skin as when I arrived and he cut my toe with the file. He never turned on the massage chair and filled the basin up with very cold water. The manicure was no better. He brought me a bowl of cold water to soak my hands in and must have poked me with the cuticle trimmer 10 times. He never gave me the hand peel that the mani comes with and smudged the polish and never fixed. I was in and out in lest than 1 hr. My daughter's was somewhat better. However, the woman filed her nails down very far and the french mani looks sloppy and uneven. We were the only customers there and it was noon on a Sat. 2 others came in while we were there and the nail person doing my daughter's started rushing to take one of the other clients and only lotioned one of her hands. The best gel manicure in town at a very reasonable price. They take the time to make sure that your manicure is perfect before applying the polish. This is the only salon I've been to in town that actually gets me two weeks out of a gel polish. The results are perfect.
