When I walked into this nail salon, I literally could not breathe because of the extremely heavy odor of nail polish in the air. I expressed my concern about the health hazard posed not just to customers but especially to employees who are there all day long, perhaps six days per week, and the employees were extremely rude to me: "This is a nail salon! Goodbye!" I think that they ought to google the article "Perfect Nails, Poisoned Workers" that was published in the New York Times and get another job before they ruin their health permanently. Not every salon smells the way that Lacquered Up does. It definitely needs a better ventilation system--not to mention more polite employees. I would not patronize this business. There are much better nail salons out there that are not hazardous to one's health. The reviewer who wrote "no gross chemicals" must be seriously deluded or related to the owner of the salon.
