This place runs on apathy. Sub par in every way. My deluxe pedicure took 20 minutes, and the nail tech didn’t even push my cuticles back. She just sloppily painted over them. She scalped my nails, and I’m leaving with bubbly nail polish over rough edges. This looks like the manicure you give yourself at home after popping off acrylic nails to hide damage until your nails grow back. It’s terrible. Read Less

Save your time and money and go to a different nail salon... or read on as I explain how this is the worst place to get your nails done. The first pictures is what I received today and the last pictures is what acrylic nails I’ve had in the past. This is by far the worst acrylic job I've ever received. Lets keep in mind that I get my nails done all the time with acrylic and I know what a good job looks like on my hand. So while the lady is doing my nails I am telling her everything I don’t like thus far: "this nail looks crooked," "The nails are too square," etc. And every time I told her something her how to make it better she barked back, "not done! not done!" So I just let her finish and I tell her how I wanted her to fix them: "this one is still crooked," "The corners are too thick, I would like them thinner." And she pushes away from the table and has someone else come over to try to help. I told the man that all I wanted was to makes my nails straight across because they almost seemed to curve making the corners look fat and unnatural. I also showed him how the corners were way thicker than in the middle and if he could just make it even. He goes to filing away only making the nails shorter and not fixing the problem. I finally tell him that I'll just pay and go because all he was doing was making it worse by not fixing the problem and making my nails shorter making them looks stubby and dumb-looking. I pay and I sit with my friend while her toes are drying. We were looking at my nails together and some other employees heard us complaining about how it was the worst acrylic nail job we've ever seen. A lady comes over and asks what exactly I didn't like about it. I told her and she simply said that it was my hand and nail shape. There was no compensation for my trouble, no refund, and they just acted like it was my hand's fault and not their horrible nail technician. This place is overpriced and I felt more like a problem than I did a customer. Lets not forget to mention the huge language barrier and when you say something they act like they don’t understand. Also, the lady made me bleed and she hurt me several times. She also glued the acrylic nail to my skin and when she tried to fix it, tore my skin up leaving a raw spot that is still aching. I came here due to "my" nail salon flubbing my appointment for my birthday with 10 people. They were able to accommodate us quickly and my frown was turned to a smile. Tracy did my pedicure and it was awesome! She was very attentive to detail and my polish seemed to last forever. I have been back since to try and transition from SNS powder to gel and the technician that last helped was unable to a design that I wanted, but other than that I will continue to try here. Me, my mother and my aunt all had pedicures done at the same time. All three were sloppy and not worth the money paid for them. I could have done a better job myself. The girl that worked on my aunt took about 10 personal phone calls on her cell phone. The girl that worked on my mom left the scrub and oil all over her legs. It was so bad she had to go into the bathroom and wipe it off. I recommend finding somewhere else to get your toes done. Read Less

I went to this salon out of convenience for a regular manicure and pedicure and had two acrylic nails filled. The next day the entire skin around these nails were completely blistered and red...like third degree burns and now are open blisters. I'm guessing it's a reaction to the solution they used. I've had acrylics off and on for 25 years and NEVER had anything like this occur. In addition, my nails had already begun to chip the following day. I'm easy to please, but this was way beyond an awful experienc. The skin around my nails will NEVER be the same!!! Read Less

Lee who does the eyebrow waxing at Venetian Nail Spa gives the best eyebrow wax I have ever gotten! She always does an amazing job and they look perfect. I have had my eyebrows waxed all over town and have never been happy til now. Usually I would have to go home and touch them up because one would be too thin or longer than the other, but I have never had to do that since I started coming to see Lee! I loooove this salon! I moved to Hendersonville from the west coast a year ago and was having trouble finding a good salon for pedis and manis. I have been getting pedicures regularly for over ten years now and it seemed like I just couldn't find a local place, which consistently gave great pedicures. I went to Venetian thinking that I was probably going to be disappointed (I know, that's a terrible attitude :-)) and would have to start looking in Nashville next; I was sooo wrong! From the minute I walked in the door I was happy! The salon is spotless and has a very relaxing atmosphere. Up to this point, every attendant I have ever had has been wonderful! I have never felt rushed or as if they wanted to get on to the next client. Also, all the chairs seem to work fabulously! I have been in salons where the chairs don't work and yet they have you sit in them, isn't that part of the experience also?? To make it even nice, they also offer you something to drink. I believe they may have wine but am not completely positive since I always ask for bottled water . Now onto the actual pedicure. I would call it amazing! They offer several choices off of their ""menu"" for you to choose from. I usually end up getting the mask and scrub and by they time they are done I am so relaxed and my feet feel and look wonderful! The polish always lasts at least two weeks for me with rarely any chipping! I have also had manicures here but my nails never seem to last. The manicures look wonderful but never last. I ended up getting a shellac polish last time and it almost lasted two weeks but not quite. But, I think I may be hard on my nails because I have never had manicures that last unless I periodically paint a top coat over them in-between salon visits. Anyway, try Venetian Salon you will be so happy you did! I almost do not want to write this review because in a way I would like Venetian to be my little secret; but I was really shocked at some of the bad reviews here and felt I needed to write my own! I love the Hendersonville Venetian! I use to go to the Green Hills location when we lived in Nashville and was so excited when they opened in Hendersonville. Their pedicures are the best! I go every two weeks and have always had a good experience. They do the best French pedi in Hendersonville! I have never had someone cut or file my nails too low like the last review said...weird...maybe she likes having dragon nails! LOL! Seriously though, my pedi comes out perfectly every time and stays on without chipping for two weeks. It is very calm and relaxing inside and the massage chairs are comfortable and don't massage too hard like some of the older massage chairs at other salons do. I would highly recommend! Read Less

I have been to the Venetian a few times, being new to the area and not really knowing the best places to go. Of the times that I?ve been I?ve never felt like they were the best however, each time I would equate it to the old saying, ?You get what you pay for?. The last time that I went I repeated more then once that I felt like the lady was cutting my nails too short and filing too far into the corners. She then proceeded to tell me that I was wrong. We moved on from the pedi to my mani where she continued to do the same thing. I had to pull my hands away from the lady before she would stop. I expressed how displeased I was with my too short, ragged, and uneven nails to the owner, who then consulted and brought over five other employees to circle around me and look at my nails as they talked among themselves as if I wasn?t even there. I finally got out of the chair, pushing them all to the side to leave and as I was gathering my things the owner finally offered a free mani the next time I came in, but after all that I have no interest in going back or recouping the $45-$50 that I paid for the worse service ever.
