If you want want your Shellac to start peeling within less than 2 days of getting it done, then this is definitely the place for you. If I could give this place no stars, I would in a heartbeat. I recently moved to the area & was looking for a new nail salon close to home. After reading the previous reviews, I still decided to give this place a try one day while riding by in need of a mani/ pedi for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. I wish I had just kept driving. This place has no kind of ambiance or atmosphere whatsoever. There was barely any music playing, if any was playing at all. There was not a single tv. The decor was blah. And if that's the case, you'd think these ladies would compensate with their customer service...NOT! I was greeted promptly by a friendly lady when I first came in, however, it all quickly went downhill from there. I had Shellac on already. Instead of having me soak the Shellac off, which is the proper way to remove it, she tried to take a drill to my real nails. I told her there would be no drill used on my nails whatsoever. Instead of respecting my wishes, she kept trying to talk me into it & repeatedly attempted to use the drill. I had to tell her no multiple times. I've worn Shellac for years & never once have I had it removed with a drill. This was not my 1st rodeo, so I am definitely not naive enough to fall for her explanation that a drill was needed to remove Shellac from my natural nails. After my repeat refusals, she finally wrapped my nails with acetone I foil to remove the Shellac.Now on to the pedicure, done by a different tech. When I tell you this lady CLEARLY did not want to be at work, I mean it. She dragged along, had an extremely nonchalant, uncaring demeanor, & didn't even say hi before she sat down & started working on my feet. In fact, I don't recall her saying anything at all & just looking down. When she got her tools, I politely asked if they used new utensils from an unopened package (which is necessary for the sake of cleanliness). Ofcourse, she acted as if she didn't understand me nor did she try to. Another tech who was sitting within earshot answered for her by saying that they "sterilize" their tools. I told her that I didn't see any tools cleaned or sterilized in my presence. She spoke to my tech in their language. Then my tech started "cleaning" the tools with acetone (as if I were too dumb to see that it was clearly acetone, which is not suitable for cleaning but for removing polish). My tech still had not said anything to me nor had anyone directly answered my question. So, I asked again & was ignored at 1st. But I refused to be ignored when my health was at risk. When they saw I wasn't going to let the issue go, my tech (who still had not said 1 word), abruptly got up & another tech took over my pedicure. She came with utensils that had supposedly been sterilized (still not in my presence & not new out of the package). She didn't say a word. Another tech had been on her cell the entire time & decided to chime in & say that I could buy utensils from them & bring them in whenever I came for a service. I thought that was absolutely absurd. I immediately asked what was going on & why my tech had gotten up. She said that the other tech had an appointment to tend to. I did not appreciate the silent treatment then abrupt change in techs without a word, all just for asking a simple question. Nor did I appreciate being asked to buy utensils. They had already rubbed me the wrong way. However, at that point I decided to stick it out. I looked at the menu of services & saw that a pedi was $25 & a Gel mani was $35.There was another customer in there who was noticeably upset because they decided to take her as a walk in while making a woman with an appointment wait an hour. The walk in clearly objected to being seen before someone else with an appointment. She said several times that it was unfair for her to be waited on ahead of someone with an appointment , however they ignored her repeatedly.Near the end of my mani, the tech excused herself saying she had to call her husband. When it came time to pay, the tech was back on her phone & charged me $61. I asked how much the services were, she said $26 for the pedi & $35 for the mani. I knew what the menu said, but my service had been so terrible that the $1 she overcharged would be her tip. So, I didn't fight it.To make matters worse, I got my nails done on Monday night & they didn't even last until Thanksgiving Day (Thursday). They started peeling 2 days later. I've lived in Hendersonville for 7 years and and have tried several nail salons and always come back to Le's. The manicurist are never in a hurry and know their customers by name. I will say I make sure to make an appointment to be sure I get one of my favorites;Annie, Christy or Tina. Read Less

Okay atmosphere. I've been to several other salons that seem to give better service. Women who worked there seemed to hate life. Gentleman working was very nice. Pedicure was great, manicure so-so. My nails are already chipped and it has only been 7 hours. Needed a pedi so went with what was closest. Right off 386. Read Less

Terrible. I said I wanted a manicure, when I picked a color and walked back they had a pedicure station ready. I told them I said a manicure and so the guy moved himself to a manicure table. I assume he normally only does pedicures because he seemed very nervous and unsure the whole time. He cut me and made me bleed three different times while trimming my cuticles, and was very sloppy with taking off my old polish. I can still see some around the edges. He also was very sloppy painting my nails as well he missed the sides of my nails and I have polish on my finger tips. I can say with certainty I will not return. I get better service at Walmart. Would not come back. They are really nice and polite but try to get you to choose the most expensive pedicure. The classic pedicure is nice, the massage is good enough, but the actual pedicure is terrible. They cut my toenails and barely filed them. And they painted on my skin. I thought it was a joke and he would actually remove the paint on my skin, but he didn't.  Also, he left several times during my pedicure to assist other people. I would NOT recommend this place. Overall experience was not good a good one. To begin with, it took me a whole hour to get seated, and there were many available staff members who could do my nails at the time. There was miscommunication and confusion about what my nails were going to look like. My nails were being treated roughly and at some points they actually hurt from the manicure. Will not go back. The woman who did my pedicure never spoke to me. The man who did my manicure was on his phone several times--once going into the back leaving me for about 20 minutes. The end result is very sloppy and the polish feels soft--not like my usual gel finish. The instruments were on a tray--never saw them open a bag so I am not sure how sanitized they were. Read Less

The services here are well priced and look great! They do powder gel as well as regular & they last a good 3 weeks, depending on how fast your nails grow. I usually trim mine at 2 wks and they still last and look good for another 8 to 10 days. The place is kept quiet, no tv, and has soft music in the background. All of the massage chairs work and the magazines are current. All in all a great place for a true Lunch Break! : ) Read Less

Finally!!!!! I found the place I'll be staying and the manicurist too. This salon is well decorated, comfortable, clean, and has a great selection of regular and gel polishes. Annie was absolutely fantastic. She is kind and gentle efficient and definitely cares about the work that she does. She did a great job with attention to the details. I love that I don't have to ask to have my nails painted all the way down to the cuticle or to put acrylic down to the cuticle.  She just did whatever was needed to send me away with great nails! Prices there are great, too! And they're not too cheap to offer drying spray at the end after you dry either. :-) I'm adding on a pedicure next time! Read Less

My sister had a pedicure and I had a  manicure and we both had an excellent experience. The environment was pleasant and everything was clean. I am a nurse and I have become very vigilant about cleanliness after I contracted a nail infection at a spa. Annie gave my sis a wonderful pedicure and Ben gave the best hand/lower arm massage I have ever had. We will definitely be repeat customers! Read Less

Walked in, they took me right away. This nail salon is clean and looks like it is kept in good repair. I had a deluxe pedicure and it was lovely. I also had an acrylic fill on my fingernails and it looks great! I'm all ready for Christmas and I'll definitely go back when I visit TN again in the spring! Read Less

I only went here once.....so I can't speak for the general care-but I will NEVER go back. Why? I would give this ZERO stars if I could. Usually I can find something good to say about a place.....this one I cannot. I do however have 5 bad things to say about the place:1. Terrible ventilation-when you open the door, the fumes smack you in the face.2. Terrible service. I don't think anyone in the place even smiled once and when I needed to pay, the other workers just stared at me and didn't do anything until the guy who was suppose to ring me up showed up. So unhelpful.3. I would have settled for semi-comfortable, but instead got painful. The guy working on me scraped so hard with the dead skin scraper, that he cut me and it got infected. The clearly don't sanitize their instruments as you could tell by him just pulling it out of a drawer and sticking it right back when he finished with me. And it was also very uncomfortable, border line painful when he was cleaning up my cuticles.4. Paint job was terrible. I got nothing fancy, just the basic pedicure, and it was sloppy.5. I don't ever write reviews. I made this account just to stand up for this place. I go here about once a month and am always satisfied and delighted. Yes, I have had waits before but it's because the place can get busy on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. The people who work their are very nice, meticulous and proud of the work they do. These people are horrible. They were 30 minutes late for my appointment and didn't even apologize. They do everything half-assed. I would not be surprised if they don't clean there manicure tools. All the employees are amateurs and aren't professional at all. No one speaks English. Read Less

We went to Le's Nails to get a mani/pedicure before a wedding. The price was comparable to other salons. The problem was the pedicure was simply a foot soak, a pumice stone to the heal and some nail polish. The toenails were not trimmed or filed, no base coat and only a second coat after I requested it. The manicure was not much better. The nails were filed unevenly and the nail polished chipped before the wedding. (I had asked for OPI as opposed to the generic brand on display and was told OPI costs extra!). I had a very hard time understanding the nail tech (no body in the salon spoke english).I went with a man who also got a manicure and his consisted of his nails being clipped and buffed, nothing more. Worst of all I never saw them sanitize the equipment! After she was done with my manicure, she put the instruments back in her drawer without even washing them! Stay away from this place!!! Read Less
