I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in this salon. Either the prices changed from me calling on Sunday and going for my appointment on Tuesday OR the nail tech LIED to get herself a $5 tip!! I was told on Sunday when i called it was $55 for pink and white. When the nail tech was done it was changed to $60. I don't appreciate either one. When I asked about the price difference she claimed it was because I wanted my nails a little on the longer side. At no time during the process did she tell me the length would cost me extra. What is a manicure and pedicure? Salon no longer trims all the dead skin around nails. They cut and sometimes only file nails crookedly. They do not get all old polish off nails. Last several times I've been in (and paid over a hundred dollars with tip) the gel nails have wrinkled up or turned a dark color at tips and started to peel off much earlier than they use to. In my opinion, this is old BAD PRODUCT. In addition, even with a more expensive pedicure, they barely give a massage...which is, to me, the best part of a manicure and pedicure. No...It appears they are trying to cram as many customers into a day as they can do...with little regard to quality of their service. Now, THEY believe they're doing good work, but it is truly the very lowest quality. Oh, and don't bother trying to make an appointment. You will wait, no matter what. Read Less

Too bad I can't give this place a 0!! I stopped in on a Sunday due to a very busy week. I couldn't get to my regular salon. The girl was in such a hurry that I have bumpy ridges on every nail, they are thick and absolutely embarrassing to walk around with. She burnt my fingers with the drill 3 times. This is unacceptable. Horrible! I stopped for a pedi and acrylic fill in because my regular salon is not open in Sunday and I wish I would not have wasted my money. First of all I was over charged by $10 for a fill in with polish and a regular pedi. Next my nails have ridges in them and not one of them is smooth. Stellar nail salon. I can't believe that I have been traveling and hour and half away for a place that did pedicures property and the whole time this was in our back yard. Wonderful customer service and quality is is amazing. I now have a new salon. My daughter had her nails done, I love them so much I am getting mine done and I am extremely peidcluiar. Ok where do I start?... I came to this salon with my mother and her nails turned out horrible. The man that did her nails moved extremely slow and seemed like he couldn't see or something was wrong. He didn't remove the previous polish and painted over her blue polish with a salmon colored polish which turned out horribly. Then he cut her nails down too low and at an odd angle. When we came back the same day to fix the problem, they acted like they couldn't speak English when we were just there and knew they spoke perfect English and tried to get her to search through their collection to find the color. Then they sent 3 people over to look at her feet and pretended to not see the problem but other customers spoke up for my mother and backed her up. Thank you random lady lol. We then called to place a complaint and the man argued with my mother on the phone. My nails on the other hand turned out ok except for the older woman made a comment about my skin being dry which to me seemed a tad bit unprofessional and she also left polish on my skin. After the problem with my mothers feet I didn't bother telling them about my nails. Personally I would not go back to this shop because of how they treated my mother and the way her nails look. I recently had my first experience getting a gel manicure and hot stone pedicure at this nail salon. My favorite nail tech recently closed up shop so I wanted to try out some new options. It's been two weeks and the gel manicure still looks good and is intact. The pedicure and manicure were done by two different techs. The female tech spoke very limited English. I'm quiet so I'm okay with that, but if I had to communicate something I would have had no luck. The men in the salon seemed to speak and understand English. I often have a problem with nail techs cutting my cuticles on my hands even when I ask them not to because they bleed easily but they listened to my request here so I appreciated that. I have been getting my nails done with the owners Teeny and Andy for 11 years now. They are always ontop of the newest trends. This nail spa looks like it came out of a resort with numerous pedicure chairs and nail stations. They take pride in their work and it shows. I came on Mother's Day weekend. Water was luke warm, massage chair was broke and the leg and foot massage lasted all of 2 minutes. Won't be back. For the amount of money that they charge for this service the least they could do is check the water and their chairs. Read Less

I was so angry when I left that I gave myself 24 hours to calm down before I wrote a review. Not sure that was enough time. I should have read all the other comments in advance rather than stopping with the happy person from Vegas.I only treat myself to a pedicure for special occasions,  maybe 3 times a year, so I want it to be a good experience.  Aside from the empty front desk, the oddly peremptory attitude of most of the employees, and the tepid water, I was prepared to make the best of it. UNTIL I ended up with the rudest nail tech ever. I overlooked his lack of conversation,  but he sulked when I asked for polka dots  (we're headed to the beach!) and snapped at me when I tried to adjust my toe separator to prevent my hammer toe from messing up his work. After I got up from the dryer and discovered that the toe had, indeed, wrecked one toe, he was truly put out. Argued with me about my polish color (I was right), slapped on new polish without base coat, and literally stomped off, never to return. This, after I had (1) prevented him from undercharging us $20 and (2) given his sorry self a 20% tip because my daughter's silent nail tech had done a good job.I hope they enjoy my money, because the next time I'll be spending it somewhere else. The Manager "Helen" is so rude to her customers-Auctually a B**ch-Insulting clients infront of other clients. If I come in and ONLY want a polish change-I shouldn't be treated so rudely because I am not getting a complete manicure or pedicure. Having 3 employees then finally Helen walking over insisting on a much higher service when told politely MULTIPLE times no-Then talks in foreign language to employees about you-Obvious because  they all turn and look straight at you. Her fake smile and rude behavior disgusts me. Not sure how they plan to stay in business. If you don't want to take my word for it-Go on in and just ask for a polish change only...that $10 will more than pay for their BOTTLE of polish, so not sure what they have to complain about-SO RUDE and GREEDY! I keep giving this place second and third chances, because they actually do really good nails. I've always been pleased with the result. However, the service and the experience is horrible. First of all, they're unbelievably slow. There's no reason a manicure should take 2 hours. They have a spa-like set up, but the employees fail to create a relaxing atmosphere. The manager(?i think?) walks around while talking loudly on the phone, hovers over the employees shoulders, and openly reprimands them. I had one guy actually answer his cell phone during my pedicure. The closer it gets to closing, the more they all talk to each other, on their phones, etc and ignore the customers sitting in front of them. I moved here 3 years ago and have still not found a good place to get my nails done. Yes, I admit, I am very picky and had the same girl back in Florida for many years but I have truly had some nightmare nail jobs here in Tennessee. I have frequented Tina's Nail spa off and on over the last 3 years but just for mediocre nails. I decided today to try Hendersonville Nail and Spa since it was new and had satisfactory reviews. I called and made an appt for same day. It was a nice spa-new and pretty. I was immediately greeted and taken back. I did not see that lack of customer service that everyone complains about because I was treated with smiles and attentiveness.Tony, who by the way has a negative review on Tina's Nail Spa page, sat down in front of me and I was immediately alarmed. I knew of his previous review and he looked so young but I bit my tongue and watched everything he did like a hawk. He was very nice and talked me through the whole process (i soaked off and old set and had a new pink & white set put on). I have to say that he did the BEST job I have had yet here in town. He always asked how I was doing and if I liked everything he did along the way. I even added some colored powder for my tips and they turned out great. I will attach a picture.The only faux-pas is that I had to ask for a drink as it was not offered to me but they do serve water, soda, and wine. I will definitely go back and am one happy customer. So after being told there would be a 30 min wait at Venetian Nails, I decided to try this place despite the mixed reviews. I couldn't have walked away more relaxed!!! The lady that did my pedicure was great. I will be honest though, they ARE lacking in the customer service dept.  I personally don't care much about this as I only care about having a good pedi. My pedi was good but the whole process wasn't done how I like it.  The more concerning part of my experience was how the manager or owner (an authoritative figure) disciplined the employees in front of me, the customer.  I thought the girl that did my pedi did a good job.  The Mgr came by to "approve" my pedi and criticized the employee in front of me, pointing her finger at her, talking very firmly and not speaking english.  During the same time, another employee asked my how my pedi was and I told her I thought it was good so I didn't understand what was happening and that it was making me uncomfortable.  This same situation has happened two more time to my friend who goes there.  There is a time and place for disciplining employees and it is not in front of the customer.  I won't be back. Meh. Slightly less than average service. Slightly less than average pedicure. First, when I entered, I had to go look for someone to help me as there was no one at the front desk and no one came out even though they have a door chime. When I found someone, I asked him if they had an opening for a pedicure right now. Yes, he said, right this way. He sat me in a chair where I proceeded to wait over 30 minutes until someone started on the pedicure. I was disappointed he didn't tell me the truth, which would have been "No, we have a half hour wait." About half way through my wait, a woman came over and handed me a menu, no comment, no explanation of ANY options, no questions, no talking, just handed me the menu and walked off. Of course, I know she handed me this so I could pick which pedicure I wanted. They did have a choice of about 10 different pedicures, but the menu had NO description of any service, so you're left to decide which one you want based solely on the one to two word title. Once we finally got started, I asked for a deluxe pedicure, but still have no idea what about it was deluxe. It didn't include even a moment of a foot massage, which was a first for me. I've had hundreds of pedicures and never had one that didn't have at least a foot massage as the lotion is applied. The lady who did my pedicure did not speak ONE word to me. Not when she sat down, not anytime during the pedicure, not even when she was done. She may have been mute, but my better guess is that she did not speak any English, which would have been perfectly fine, but it would have been nice if SOMEONE in there had spoken to me. I left feeling like I had been invisible the whole time I was there. Sadly, I doubt I'll ever go back, which is unfortunate as this place is the most conveniently located of all the local nail salons in this area, in my opinion. Read Less
