So, I’m not sure how to rate this. Until 11/22/2017, I’d been a loyal customer. Spending $45-70 every two weeks, depending on which services I wanted. However on the fore mentioned date, it was suggested to me by Hannah, one of the techs, and the owner’s wife, that “maybe you should find some place else to do your nails, because you complain too much.” To say that I was appalled would be an understatement. I bumped my nail, as it was drying, as most of us have done, and asked for it to be corrected. She literally snatched the polish out of Philip’s, her husband and shop owner hand. Again, i’d been a loyal customer for over 5 years, and I’ve witnessed her nasty and rude behavior before, but never quite been the recipient...Philip and Natalie are wonderful! Their attitude and understanding of customer service, has been part of the reason I continued to patronize this nail salon. They are also skilled nail technicians. I asked for french manicure, was told it was $5 more than polish. I decided to go ahead. Polish chipped within 6 hours. White tips were uneven and not properly done. She asked several times if it was okay, but if you do this professionally you would not think this was good work. I should have asked the tech to remove it all and do clear. My fault for paying. I've been to this salon several times since moving to the area six months ago. My previous experiences have been OK. Until today. I don't know what was wrong with the lady doing my nails but she had a major attitude. After I left I looked at my nails in the day light and there were so many missed spots and so much polish on the skin as well as calluses that are typically smoothed down were left untouched. This place is great. The people don't have very good English,  but they were very nice.  Three of us went in together,  so there was a bit of a wait. But I got to wait in a massage chair with my feet in hot jetted water,  so I didn't mind.  The guy was serious about getting the dead skin off my feet, and the foot and calf massage was awesome. They charged $35 for 10 minutes of facial waxing service for my mother the day before Christmas eve. Nobody attempted to make any polite small talk During those ten minutes. We are from Chicago and are accustomed to receiving better service for half the cost. Needs improvement. Read Less

My mother, sister, and I have been going to this salon for manicures, pedicures, and eyebrow threading for two years. Though the family that runs the salon is very nice, lately we have been receiving substandard services. During my last pedicure, the gentleman working on me cut too deep into my cuticle and cut me under my toenail. Very painful. The massage and pumice stone potion of the pedicure was not relaxing. The white tips that were painted by another woman were sloppily done with polish left on my skin and the white line left uncompleted, chipped looking, and uneven on my toenails. I did not feel comfortable asking them to fix the flaws I saw. My mother ended up paying $50 for uneven and messy pink and white acrylic nails, even though their sign says that acrylics are only $40. The man working on her was the same gentleman that did my pedicure and he also hurt her. I would only recommend going here if you feel secure in being very directive and aggressive with how you instruct them to do your nails. Read Less
