I wanted to love you.  Your salon is cute and comfy but at $89 plus a 20% tip for a gel mani and a pedicure in which the skin on both my hands and feet didn't get trimmed enough or properly and the scrubbing & massage of the feet was done in a barely interested in doing that kind of way.  But the real kicker is that I got it done on 2/12. It is now 2/17 and the gel manicure polish is just peeling/folding off/coming off all of my nails in an entire strip the whole thing just coming off.  What a waste of my money and time.  I'll be going back to the Asian nail salons where that stays on for weeks, the scrub the skin off your feet, massage you hard & actually clip the dead cuticle skin off like you needed them to for 1/2 the cost. I completely agree with previous post. The salon service is stellar....when you can get an appointment. Every time I try to get an appointment that is convenient for me (after work or weekends), I am told they are booked, even when I try to get an appointment a couple of weeks out. However, if you do a drive by, they are NEVER busy. I am not sure if they are short staffed, or they have appointments that do not show, but they are never busy for a salon that says they are booked all the time. Hire more technicians. First timer to September nail salon and also to gel nails! I'm not sure why I always got acrylic but I did. Now, I'm such a HUGE fan of gel nails. They dry so fast! Rihanna did my nails today and she does exactly on how you want them! She also pays really close attention to details of your nails and on making your nails look super clean. I really appreciated that! I was also stuck between choosing 2 different colors that were honestly really close in colors. She helped me choose by describing to me how they come out. Overall, she is really knowledgeable and sweet! The environment was also very soothing and I also had a cup of wine. I felt bad but I was honestly falling asleep a little bit while getting my nails done because I was so relaxed  everyone should go see Rihanna!! Read Less

I've been in the market of looking for a new nail shop that does great on pedicures. I came across this shop and my first experience was very nice. It was around new years when I experienced their Ultimate pedicure in which I paid $74 for. I got presented with oils, body scrubs and all! Very nice service. The reason I'm grading this salon 2 stars is because here it is February and I have not since then been able to get another pedicure. I go online schedule my appointment all to get to a empty salon!! Once at 3:00pm on a Monday Feb 8th and then again on a Tuesday at 5:00pm Feb 21st all to be told they were booked for the day. You'd think that be true if the chairs were filled, waiting clients in the waiting area and pedicure chairs reserved and they don't close until 6:30pm... But no one, I mean no one was in the shop besides the nail techs and receptionist. Whats the point of setting a appointment if you can never be seen. I mean I like the service but it is very disturbing to get turned around not only once but twice and the shop is empty. Back to the drawing board of searching for a good nail shop for pedicures. Love the care they show, everything was extremely clean and the staff is friendly. My pedicure came out flawless my manicure on the other hand did not survive a day. They put such thick layers of polish on my nails not all of them dried even after hours after application. I woke up the next day to sheet and finger prints on 3 of my nails and I went to bed about 5 hours after getting my nails done. This is only my third time getting my toes cleaned up but I've been in many salons waiting for my wife and this has to be the nicest and cleanest one that I've seen. We were the first customers of the day so the place was all ours and the two ladies working on us were fantastic! This is by far the best nail salon I've ever been to in Memphis! For a while I stopped going. Only reason because I started getting my acrylic *fake) nails again and they only speacialize in healthy and natural nail care. I LOVE this about the salon! I now get my gel manicures about every 2 weeks and it last and holds up so well, and has a long durability.Many nail salons these days are only concerned with money, so they try their hardest to seat everyone that walks through the door. In doing so, they essentially lose money because the customer service is not there. And by customer service...I mean cleanliness as well. They are in a rush to get you in and out so that they can get all the "clients" ($$$)  that walks through the door. So cleanliness in between clients is not a huge deal. september Nail Salon, however, cherish their clients. Each client gets a disposable manicure kit (buffing pad, and nail file) that are thrown away after you leave. Not only that, but they only have 2-3 clients at time and the wait time for me has never been longer than 10 minutes. Now I will say, if you are just in the neighborhood and want to stop by and get services, they do operate on an appointment only basis. They will, however, seat you if their book isn't full and they have room for you.The price is more than what you'd pay at a traditionally owned Asian salon, but that's where the phrase "you pay for what you get" comes into play. The overall ambiance of the salon is comforting, not to mention having the door opened for you when you come in and out of the salon. They offer you your choice of beverage during your visit and work on building a personal relationship with you. The great thing is..they know you by name because they have so few clients per visit.
