My experience here was horrible. Took 20 mins for someone to even speak the my friend and I and took even long to be serviced. There was one nice lady and that was about it. My nails are cute but for a set price of $25 for a full set, I’ve have had way better for this price and had longer nails. This is my favorite nail salon! They always do a wonderful job and use top quality polish and shellac. They put on multiple layers so you have a nice thick polish. They are always smiling and courteous and even though they can get very busy, they are still very thorough and I have never received a sloppy manicure or pedicure. They always take their time. I've been coming here every two weeks for 3 months an I've never had any problems. Today I pulled up at 6:48 an workers started looking out of the window an laughing. As I reached into my glove box to retrieve my card they started coming to the door with their bags one by one leaving. The hours clearly state on the door that the hours are from 9:30 am - 7:30 pm. So I asked one of the nail techs were they closing an she said something to the remaining ladies inside in her native tongue an then turned back to me an said yes they're closed. It's safe to say that I will not be returning again. I don't know if this is their "regular practice" for during the week since I normally come on Saturday morning, but what I do know is I won't be coming back. I've been to the salon for about a year now and up until now I've had a great experience! However I went on Monday and wasn't very happy with my experience! I'm not a very girly girl, I rarely get my hair done, so it's a treat to go the hair dressers! My appointment was at 12pm and when I got there I was seen pretty much on time, but first off my details of my previous colour appointment had been lost so my hair dresser spent 10 mins looking for it, asking people where it was... and then trying to decide what to do once it couldn't be found! The colour went on fine and was told she'd be back in 25 mins to take the colour out and She went off to do someone else's hair. This is when it all went down hill. The salon was noisy and super busy and in no way a relaxing atmosphere. My hair dresser came back 30 mins later and said I needed 10-15 mins more and she went off again to do something to another client. She came back again and checked and said I just needed a few more mins. This time she spent almost 20 mins curling the girl next to me hair, who I believe works at the salon. So I've been at the salon 2 hours 15 mins and have had half a head of highlights and then foils hadn't been taken out! When my colour was washed out it felt very rushed, it wasn't the usual experience I have. I was booked for colour, cut and blow dry but decided when my hair was being washed that I didn't want to spend much more time in the salon so asked my hair dresser if she could just do a wet trim so I could leave. All in all I didn't pretty much 3 hours at the salon and only had half a head of highlights and a wet trim costing £60 and that was with NHS discount!! The overall experience was very disappointing, it felt as though the hair dressers were trying to juggle too many clients at once which made for a very unpleasant atmosphere. I come to the hair dressers for a treat, not to feel rushed or ignored! Pretty much the only good thing about my appointment was the colour which came out nicely!! I'm truly disappointed in this place and not for a reason you would think. They did my nails fine but the man who was doing them was coughing and had a mask on. In America, we stay home in that situation. Anyways, I knew something was wrong and I felt nervous and upset while he was doing my nails instead of relaxed. I ended up getting strep throat symptoms 1 day later and now I'm sitting here a week later with full on strep throat. So thank you Riverside Nails for putting the mighty dollar over your customer's well being. Please get some morals. I know you guys knew your coworker/husband/brother/whatever the weird family dynamics are was sick. He did nails for at least 4 other people besides me that day (the day after Thanksgiving). I've been going to Passion4 for a while now and I can tell you the salon has a lovely atmosphere :) the staff are lovely! I'd highly recommend having any wax treatment with Charlotte as she makes you feel so comfortable and at ease and does a fabulous job! :) I have my nails done with Amelia, she is so creative, I always look forward to my next nail appointment and she has such a lovely personality! I was left waiting in between steps of my manicure. They are understaffed. The left old polish on my nails on the tips and in the corners. They left hang nails on the edges of multiple nails. The clippers and trimmers did not appear to have been sterilized. I'm never going back. My nails look disgusting. Read Less

Nicest nail salon I have ever been to! The ladies were so nice and did an amazing job. Beautiful, relaxing decor. They also add a personal touch of keeping the tools they use on your nails in a box with your name on it for the next time you come! Reasonably priced as well. My sister-in-law and I came in to get manicures done before wedding later that day.  At first they misunderstood what we wanted, and tried to sit us in for pedis.  We eventually were seated for manis, thankfully side by side.  While we don't get manis very often, we were surprised that this was a basic, no frills, not even a hand soaking in water kind of manicure.  The lady who worked on me spent a lot of time looking up at the front reception area, and not looking at the cuticles she was cutting.  She was not at all thorough, and I was correcting her work as she did it. My nails did look better when I walked out, but within 24 hours, the nail polish was starting to peel off in sheets.  At least I made it to the wedding intact.I would not go here again, unless someone else was paying.
