They were busy and I had an appointment. Didn’t have to wait too long to be seated but waited over 20 minutes once I was seated. Then the girl doing my toes got up and went to go help someone else more than 5 times before my nails were complete. I wanted a simple toe polish change. I went with my sister who got a full set. I enjoy this salon.My "regular salon" closer to my house has suddenly started trimming nails differently, and I can't explain why, but it makes one toe on my foot develop an ingrown nail every time.Visited here last week, and no problems.Very clean salon, nice folks who work here, and good selections.The technicians actually talk to you, and in English, and while I respect other cultures and other salons' staff being able to talk in private, I like that.  Bonus #2 if you want a gel manicure and want to try the powder method, it is not an additional upcharge over the gel price.  My other salon charges more for gel.I'll definitely be back! Aesthetically, very nice. I liked how there was a large menu of services upfront rather than just the little handouts and playing the guessing game of how much one service differs from the other. Everything looks still brand new. However- the actual manicure I received- AWFUL!!!!!!!!!! I could have done just as well myself- which is not saying anything good. If I were able to do a decent job myself, I wouldn't pay someone else to do it. I attached photos of the manicure I got YESTERDAY. It looks like I did it personally a week ago. The paint does not cover the tips of my nails, nor does it go down to anywhere close to my cuticles- my cuticles look like crap, the paint itself began to chip right away and though I sat there with my nails held at least 6-8 inches from the dryer as instructed for more than 20 minutes, the paint was still much too soft and was ruined right away; later in the evening I noticed it was STILL mushy and so anything that touched the nail left a mark in the paint- which usually indicates they are using fillers and additives in the paint to make the bottle last longer therefore skimping you out of a few dollars. The photos don't even look as bad as it does to the naked eye, so imagine it about 10X worse. Very disappointing. I will give them another shot since it's so close to my house, but if it doesn't improve I will not be back. Read Less

I am 9 months pregnant and wanted a pedicure before the big day. I walked in and there were people getting manicures, and two workers communicating, I asked if there was a wait for a pedicure and she said no and to go pick out a color. I was picking out a color as they were getting the chair ready, and a customer walked in and said she had an appointment at 4:00. The worker came over to me and said, sorry it's a 30 minute wait now. I was like, there are two workers and 10 chairs... why is it a 30 minute wait?? Plus I was there before the appointment walked in. I do customer service for a living, that was a degrading way to handle a walk in when it clearly says, walk ins welcome. Will never go here, hopefully they get better management. Read Less

Went to The Nail Parlor for the first time this evening. It wasn't too busy, but it was at the end of the day. I had great service while I was there to get a gel manicure. The person who did my nails, April, was very attentive and personable. She did a fantastic job on my nails. 3 coats of color and 2 coats of top coat. Nails look wonderful!
