Solar Nails is great!  Calvin and Lisa are great people!  Great pink and white set every time!  Pedicures are great too. Been coming here for 12+ years and always get compliments on my nails.  I have referred several friends and family to visit and often bring my out of town guests!  No frills salon but great product and people! I have been getting my nails done here for a while. It's a small place but very clean and I love the husband/wife owners. It is best to call and make an appointment since it is just the two of them. I don't have acrylic nails, but Lisa does a great job with them.  I am a regular with my pedicures, and this is by far my favorite place I have found to get me nails done! Read Less

I have been living in the Franklin area for around 4 years now and have been having my nails done with acrylic for around 14 years. After moving, I was WAY more worried about finding a good nail tech than I was a hairdresser! Luckily, while shopping in a furniture store in the Cool Springs area, the store owner suggested I try Lisa at Solar Nails. After having tried several other nail places in the Franklin/Brentwood area and being soooo disappointed with the results, I had nothing to lose. Well, now I would not dream of going anywhere else! I have the pink and white set and really admire Lisa's handiwork. They look just gorgeous and stay beautifully shiny until I have them done again, which is usually every 2 1/2 to 3 weeks. The shop is nice and clean, and Lisa and her husband Calvin are always very polite and accommodating. Their pedi chairs are also wonderful and a real treat! :)Anyway, just thought I'd give Lisa and Calvin major props for doing the best nails in Franklin! I have been going to Solar Nails for over three years. The salon is always clean and tidy, and run with the utmost professionalism. Calvin and Lisa are there every day -- they are hands down the best nail techs in Franklin. I get pink & whites done by Lisa, and they last for 3 weeks at least. The prices are competitive and totally worth it for the quality work that is done. It's a full-service salon - manicures, pedicures, waxing, pink&white, solar gels, etc - you name it, they do it. They can get a bit busy on Friday afternoons and Saturdays, so if you don't want a small wait, call to make an appointment. If you don't mind a wait, there are plenty of good magazines to peruse and the TV's are always on. Read Less
