We loved this place the first few times we went. So much so, that my mom gave my $100 gift cards to this salon for my birthday, Christmas, etc. Made appointments for this morning at 10am for a fill-in with shellac polish change; and a shellac polish change. They started taking my shellac off first while my mom sat and waited for someone to begin working on her nails. 10:16, 16 minutes after our appointment time and my mom was still sitting, still waiting. I asked if there was someone else who could work on her nails, and they said it would be a few more minutes. The only reason we made appointments in the first place was because we have a meeting at noon and wanted to have plenty of time for a relaxing experience. I told the girl doing my nails that we needed to be out by 11:15, 11:30 at the very latest and she assured me that my mom's process could be done in 30 minutes. If you've ever had acrylic nails with shellac on them, you know that there is no way on God's green earth that the entire process of removing the shellac, filling in the acrylic nails, giving a proper manicure and re-painting the nails with shellac could be done (and done correctly) in 30 minutes. I had them finish taking my polish off, paid for it, and we left. Long story short: They lost 2 customers today. Save yourself frustration and go elsewhere. Read Less

If I could give a zero I would...simple task of taking off acrylic tips...apparently the method is don’t actually take it all off, just grind and file it and pretend it’s all off....waste of $10. I could have picked and pryed at my own nails to make them look like crap. Read Less

I took my mom here while she was in town visiting. We each got mani pedis. They got us right in which was great, but the man doing my pedicure was very distracted (filled up my tub with cold water first, never turned on the jets, only lotioned one leg...). The overall turn out of the pedicure was fine, the experience lacked. My mom and I got french tip gel manicures as well. Her tips bubbled after we left making her nails look and feel weird. After 2 days my nails aren't quite chipping, but looks more like the color is fading or things are seeping into the paint. I'm not sure, but they look gross now. I only did all the normal things I would and have done after a gel manicure. I really feel like I way overpaid for the service we received. Such a bummer. Read Less

I got a gel manicure at City Nails 2 1/2 weeks ago. My nails have obviously grown out, but they are just now starting to chip! I am super impressed with how long they lasted, and I would definitely come back the next time I need a manicure (or other salon services)! Read Less

I loved the great attitudes of the employees there. I got a pedicure for the first time ever, and it was wonderful, and even though I have little bitty toenails, she did a great job. Although, my nails, I am not happy with at all (different person did my nails). My nails were round, instead of square like I asked for, and one of them had already fallen off by Tuesday of this week. So, I went back tursday, and they were fixed for free, which I am thankful for. but I went last Sunday ( a week ago today), and now, two more of my nails have fallen off. I want to call and ask for a full refund, but I'm afraid I'd be shot down, since I already went and had them fixed once. And mind you, I am a Teller at a credit union. It's not like I'm being rough with my hands,. I don't see myself going back again, unless it is for a pedicure. Read Less

I came in for a pedicure on my lunch break. So I wasn't looking for a luxurious pedicure, just something basically to change my polish color and get the pedicure. Service was quick. I did let my tech know I just had time for a basic pedicure because I was on a time constraint. Though it was quick, she did a terrific job. When it came time to polish, she painted my toes and even told me if I would happen to mess them up, just to come back and she'll fix it. I thankfully did not mess them up and left a happy camper. terrible treatment from the moment I walked in the door, they never spoke or made eye contact with me, they finally told me it would be an hour and a half before they could even get to me for a fill in!!!! the salon is clearly prejudice as I am a black woman and they were nice to all the other customers who walked in that were white. So I guess if you are rich and white then you would love this salon, but if you are a minority they will treat you like an inconvenience. I had heard from several friend that this was a good place to go. I stop in to see if I could get an appointment and they got me right in and gave me a pedicure and pink and whites on my nails in just s little over an hour. Very friendly. Will definitely go back. Read Less

This is by far the worst nail salon I've ever been too. Me and my friend went to get a fill and gel manicure. Let's start off with the gel. She started trimming my nails EXTREMELY SHORT hurting me and wound up making me bleed. After she used the tool with the blood, she did not sanitize or apologize. A massage is supposed to be included with the manicure and it was about 30 seconds. The paint job was a bit sloppy, but I was just ready to leave. When I get gel they usually last 2-3 weeks. Let's just say this manicure didn't last a full week. As for my friend who got a full, her nails were crooked and her skin was bleeding from using the tools on her skin. They also painted all over her skin looking like a sloppy mess. She went back the next day and they were very rude and disrespectful. I would not recommend this place on my worst enemy. Read Less

I had an acrylic done on my nails with polish and it started chipping in less then a week. When I went back and asked for a different color they tried charging me. They ended up painting them a different color but after my nails dried and I was already on my way home I realized there were tiny bumps all over my freshly painted nails! Not going back. Read Less

This used to be my favorite salon, because they get you in and out quickly. But the last 4 times I've visited, the quality of my gel nail finish has gone down hill.  They are streaky and don't last more than two weeks.  Not sure what they have changed but I will have to find another salon. For comparison, I go to a salon in chicago when I visit my daughter.  The nails last for a month and they give you a neck massage at the end. Wonderful! And $15.00 cheaper. Read Less
