I am obsessed with my nails this time around and Amy was absolutely wonderful! She showed me all the new colors they had and did everything exactly how i wanted it. Went to Color Nails today. I remember when I was here interviewing they did an awesome job on my pedicure and my manicure. Today was not a great experience. They started me with my pedicure then suddenly the tech which I believe is the mother I cannot recall her name gets up leaves me to go handle someone else who just walked in to fix their nails. I could not figure out what was going on. Sat there for 15-20 minutes in the pedi Bowl. I told the other tech that I had to go, she asked if I was on Lunch break. I replied NO, I have other commitments  Can't believe nobody ever even let me know what was going on. I told her i had to leave and i left. As i was walking out, the mother says Sorry. Really??? Did you just totally distegard that you were working on me ans abruptly left me to take care of a walk in. SO DISRESPECTFUL AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE intellect. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered in a nail spa. How is it that you're working on me I'm there and then you just abruptly stop what you're doing disregard any of my time to go take care of someone else? As much as I enjoyed my first experience months ago I don't think I will be back just because the way I was treated today. Not to mention at a rude old woman next to me that told me she was annoyed by hearing the alerts on my phone as I receive text messages. Really? Just an overall not good experience today. Read Less

I went to this place looking at the reviews. This is the worst pedicure I ever had. The lady did not even care to show the options for pedicure. She just worked on the feet and toe nails, no oils, no scrub. She just put moisturizer on the legs. She was rushing the process. I will not recommended this place at all. Read Less

The worst experience and manicure I have ever had. And when I found out the technician was the manager I couldn't believe it. She kept getting up to answer the phone or get someone else settled. My polish had to be taken off in four days and my nails weren't even filed correctly. The worst was that she didn't talk to me and I still don't know her name. She never introduced herself. My first time to this nail salon and I absolutely loved it! Kim was incredible, so nice, knowledgeable, informative and she did a fabulous job! I got the powder (dipping) and it was a first for me...I'm def a fan of the product and the salon! I live in Nashville but will make this drive every 2-3 weeks to get my nails done at Color! I went to this location because I was wanting to try out the powder nails. I had acrylic nails which Kim the owner took off. I love the color choices and the natural feel to the powder nails. Kim was very friendly and kind. I will be back to continue the powder nails. Read Less

Kim is the best! Make an appointment or go at an off time, otherwise you'll wait since they don't have a huge staff. I've been getting the nexgen powder rather than gel and I love it. Same finish and lasts 2 weeks but doesn't damage like gel. Read Less

I finally found a nail salon I LOVE!  Let me just tell you I've been to 20 or 30 different nail salons since I moved here from Atlanta looking for one like the one back home. This along with everything I have been looking for. I think what sets it apart is the owner Kim. She talk to me and really seemed concerned with my satisfaction in return business. She treated my 13 year old daughter like she was the most important customer and not like a child that she tried to hurry through. This salon has lost my business. I would make appointments and still have to wait an hour over my appointment time. They take walk ins immediately when you have scheduled an appointment and have been waiting for so long. The staff is rude and do not even do your nails the way you asked them to. I was lucky and got one of the best nail techs there but now that she's gone I'll never go back. Read Less

I have been going here now for 3 years and love it! I feel like I had to write a review because the previous review was bad and inaccurate! Anyone that goes to, or plans on going to the nail shop in banksville plaza, DO NOT! A few weeks ago one of my nails starting hurting out of nowhere & had started to lift from the bottom, which was weird in the first place, then i realized that there had been water trapped underneath it that had been pretty much eating away at my nail. It ended up coming off & left my real fingernail completely destroyed. I'm pretty sure this has to be some kind of violation of a code or something but long story short its complete bullshit that my fingernail is now destroyed because someone was to lazy to do their job the right way, dont go there! The people are very nice, but this was the WORST nail experience I've ever had. I had a pedicure and a gel manicure done. Normally that takes about an hour. In this salon we were there for over TWO AND A HALF HOURS. They were very, very, very slow and not very organized. It took the gentleman over half an hour just to clip the toenails on one toe. This is not an exaggeration. I complained that we had other plans and needed to leave. The man was replaced with a woman, but she was just as slow. And the end process was TERRIBLE. My gel nails were messy and began to chip at the tips immediately. I had to have them re-done, at a different salon, within a week. Normally gel nails last a minimum of two weeks.
