My besties and I have been to A Moment’s Peace several times. Each time was wonderful! Yesterday did not disappoint, the 4 of us enjoyed a one hour massage, one hour facial, lunch and spa manicure and pedicure! My husband got me a half day of peace from this salon which included a massage and mani/pedi. I had never been here before but was looking forward to a relaxing day. I started with the massage and the massage I received from Erin was amazing and quite possibly the best massage I’ve ever had. I would go back simply for that massage. However, after the massage, I waited over 30 minutes for Mercedes to come and get me for the mani/pedi. She was the most unprofessional individual... I’ve ever had do my nails. We started with the pedicure and it was the worst pedicure I’ve ever received. Mercedes kept leaving in the middle of it and would be gone for 5-10 minutes at a time. The pedicure included no massage and she simply slapped down a hot towel only to leave for 10 minutes until the towel got cold and leaving me very uncomfortable. Mercedes then complained about the color I had picked for my toes and said it was very unforgiving and kept having to redo the painting. The pedicure itself took over an hour because of Mercedes leaving and her seemingly inexperience with painting toenails. Then we went to the manicure and again Mercedes kept leaving in the middle of it to go converse with other employees. I advised her that I bite my nails so I don’t usually get manicures and she told me that my nails were super short and she was surprised I wanted to paint them to bring any attention to them, which was pretty embarrassing for me. After the manicure she rushed me out of her chair and slapped my ticket next to me while I was under the dryer without ever checking on me again. All this to say the massage was definitely worth the money, but for as much as this place charges for a mani/pedi, I would expect much better service and better quality job done. See More Read Less

My fiancé bought a pakage worth over $200 so that I can get a massage and get my nails done at the same time , however I also wanted to be a relaxing, calming and overall a wonderful spa like experience,..... unfortunately That wasn’t the case at all. The cookies in the massage waiting area were stale, yecarea also didn’t have enough room or chairs to set so you had to stand around. The room where I had my massage was freezing cold. When I mentioned it to the massage specialist, that individual stated that clients in the past have had an issue with the temperature in that same room as well SO I was cold and uncomfortable throughout the entire 1 hour massage. The warm towel behind my neck and the warming pad behind my shoulders did not help much. The massage itself was too corporate rather than personal, enjoyable or relaxing,.. let’s just say there was no “peace” or quite about it. The individual was ready to give me my balance for the day right after the massage part when I had the rest of the package to use,.. yes neat less to say they didn’t really pay attention to that part. When I got to the manicure and pedicure part, I was handed my food in a large tray. I had to figure out how to eat without spelling the food or dropping the tray because I had to balance the tray on my lap while trying to relax while sitting down with my feet in the pedicure machine. I so wished that there was a tray holder to hold the tray for me instead of keeping it on my lap. It felt like a circus act! I had to rush to eating since the lady started working on my feet when I wasn’t finished eating yet which was odd and uncomfortable. It would have been nice if I was asked when I wanted my food instead of if I still wanted my food from the front desk. Both nail polish used on me where so runny that the lady had to use SEVERAL coats to make it look somewhat appealing! And still at the end of my manicure and pedicure the nail polish came out uneven. Some areas had a lot of nail polish and others don’t have enough, so the lady decided to throw away the nail polish used on my feet and pick a different color for my manicure, and that’s not what I really wanted but she seemed frustrated and was expressive about the runny ness so I just let her do what she wanted to do. Within a week into my nails, the polish started wearing off! I was extremely disappointed to have spent over $100 and not enjoy my nails long enough. The experience was also disappointing because the both pedicure and manicure rooms where cold. The warm towels wrapped around my legs where so old and torn plus had holes on them that the warmth from it didn’t last long. It was too bright the both rooms as well and I could see lots of traffic right outside of the windows. It wasn’t calming to say the least. I will not go come back nor recommend this place. Read Less

The staff at A Moments Peace was very professional and extremely friendly. As a salon owner myself I wanted to come to a salon/spa and actually be a “client”. It’s very challenging to do that unless you get out of your own space and put your trust in another establishment. (That’s not an easy task) A Moments Peace did not disappoint!! Hannah has been doing my hair for YEARS! She is amazing! I’m always super picky and she takes her time to make sure my hair is perfect! She is never rushed or irritated and gives herself plenty of time with each client which I think is very important and hard to find anymore! Everyone else seems so rushed unlike Hannah! Read Less

I took 3 friends there to celebrate a birthday. Everyone loved the spa services (massages & facial) the customer service was off the chain. Danielle Berry went above and beyond by setting up fruit, tea and fresh flowers for the birthday girl. We were also very impressed with the boutique.
